My gate needed to be serviced and repaired. I contacted EGRL because of excellent reviews by other customers as I searched on Google. They responded to my enquiry promptly. I found the engineer who attended very polite, knowledgeable and his work extremely thorough. I will certainly use EGRL again. Their invoicing and communication facilities are extremely efficient, although I found requiring payment in advance rather unfriendly.

Engineer arrived promptly, diagnosed and fixed problem, serviced and informed me of all relevant facts. Very impressed.

Very professional, thorough, no-fuss. This was a callout to fix some issues and service an older automated gate inherited from the prior house-owners. The engineer showed up on time. Definitely knew his stuff. Walked me through everything clearly. Above all else I felt like he was pragmatic about what to replace vs fix and not just trying to sell me added work Would recommend.

I would like to share my impressions of the work of the company Electric Gate Repair London .
Our automatic gates broke down and we contacted this company. On the same day we received an quote. A company representative came and explained what, how and when they would do it. Due to problems with deliveries, a delay was expected, but, fortunately, all work was completed ahead of schedule.

All our requests were fulfilled, for example, the sliding gate was similar in design to the existing one and the privacy screen was replaced from the old gate to the new one.
The engineers worked professionally and cleanly.
Calls and emails were answered immediately, which was very convenient.

The engineer who attended was extremely knowledgeable, personable and professional. Swiftly completed all requirements and explained all aspects along the way. Highly recommend.

Jay the engineer was excellent and knew exactly what needed to be done and was able to fix elements of the system without immediately trying to replace parts. I was pleased with the service provided by EGRL. The initial advice about necessary safety measures for our gates demonstrated in-depth knowledge. The technician who visited to assess them took care to understand the set up, frequency of use, and worked out the most economical way of meeting the safety requirement. He showed me a dud and corroded transmitter that the previous provider had left in place when servicing the gates only a few months before, and advised me to reduce the service intervals from twice per year to only once, which will save me money. On his subsequent visit he did a very neat installation job and serviced the gates with care.

The electrical circuit breaker controlling our access gates tripped and would not reset. We needed to find a good local company that could rectify this problem quickly. We found EGRL online and spoke to them about our problem. They responded very swiftly and the engineer was both knowlegeable and friendly. The problem was complex and required two visits to rectify the faults on what was an old system. The office manager talked us through the problems, what new parts were required and why. He also explained about the new safety features required on our old system. Whilst it took a few days to get our access gates working again they did a great job. Their terms of payment are quite strict but you get what you pay for. I would recommend EGRL and will use them again in the future.
