I DID NOT LIKE THE PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS BUT Jay's workmanship and Tony's helpful attitude made up for it

Tony and his engineers responded very quickly and with enormous goodwill. There was no quibbling over warranty, and the issue was resolved promptly and completely. The engineers are very knowledgable and resourceful, and I have used them now 3 times - a truly impressive team. I'm usually a cynical customer but the service from Electric Gate Repair London is truly epic.

Came out same day - chap that visited was excellent. Very knowledgeable, quick, efficient, explained what was going on, gave some great tips for maintenance and servicing - everything sorted in less than an hour.

Electric Gate Repair London were provided with pictures of my existing gate system. They very quickly provided me with a quote and advice for my gates to have a new system installed on to my existing electrics and gates. This was comparable with other companies who had been bothered to reply.A number failed to attend or after sending pictures failed to reply.
I had a number of questions all of which were answered thoroughly and a suitable date arranged.

Two weeks later an engineer attended on time and explained exactly what would be happening and how the system may vary to the old one. Explained the new safety edging to be installed and other options/additions that could be made. This was not a hard sell but just possibilities.

Gate all done very tidily and full handover given by the attending engineer at the end.

Having just moved and inherited an old broken gate system EGRL filled the gap and got the job done. A number of other companies were spoken to and contacted and lacked any commitment or real enthusiasm for the job.

Jay has been excellent, diligent, thorough, professional and proud of what he does.

Engineer arrived promptly within the allotted time frame. Gate fairly soon fixed and the engineer explained what had happened and advice on future problems that may or not may occur. I would recommend

The engineer arrived next day when expected and confirmed the issues. Following his inspection, he gave a very clear explanation of what was causing the problems and explained the options. I chose my preferred option and after checking with his office he stayed on to complete the work for a very reasonable additional fee. The engineer's attention to detail was impressive even labelling the relevant circuit breaker with a 'Gate' sticker and greasing the gate hinges before tidying up and removing all unwanted items.

I have to say that having used many electric gate service firms over many years I was very happy with the initial service provided by Electric Gate Repair London. The issues I had included the underground loop and opening and closing of the gates and whilst I was expecting a review and report only the friendly technician had the parts in his van and was able to make the repairs on the spot. The repair in fact was one which I had previously been told required the lifting of the driveway and renewal of underground cable which was not the case. I hope to be using this firm in the future to look after my system.

I recently had a service and a timer fitted by Electric Gate Repair London. I must say that the engineer, Jay, arrived promptly and was polite, courteous and professional from start to finish. I would definitely use this company again without hesitation.

called to resolve failed electric gate, got immediate advice, diagnosed most of the issues by phone/email, and sent a superb engineer to me within 48 hours [which was good enough for me]. outstanding organization at fair price.

I had my gate installed a few years ago by Electric Gate Repair the service was great from start to finish, we were very happy with the quality of the gate. The gate stopped working yesterday, I phoned and spoke to Tony at around 10am they were actually with me in under and hour. They checked the safety sensors and repaired the gate. It’s working again and we are very happy customers.
Their customer service is second to none!

We recently had a revamp of most of our systems done by EGRL at our business premises. Both motors on the gates were replaced along with a GSM receiver to call and open the gate and some safety features. The actual installation went well and the engineers Julian and Jay were immensely helpful. Clare the accountant is also great.

The reason for the missing star is the price of some of the elements quoted, please ensure you do your research before speaking with the engineer Tony, as his constant use of CAME authorised this and CAME authorised that along with Heathrow airports may throw you off, but make sure you do your research for the best price available, especially for a fireman's switch as I got it done by another company in the end for £150 less. The CAME P324 Kit installed costs 650 exc vat for any layman to buy, but they quote like 1600-1900 to install which is one day job max for two engineers, so there is a decent profit margin which you may want to poke into a little. I must add that they installed a 40cm safety edge for free which I was happy with, and they made a saving on the control panel so swapped that over to another part of the invoice.
