Poor customer service, bad professionalism and no help
I ordered the PC on 13th January, and the delivery date was 16th January. However, i have not received the order yet. The delivery partner is Postnord, who are delaying the delivery of the PC every day. Every day in the morning, I am getting an update that the delivery of the product is delayed by 'one working day'. I tried contacting Elgiganten customer service for help since Elgiganten has used the services of Postnord to deliver the PC to my address. But Elgiganten has been of no help; they have refused to help me and provided no further information. It is very poor service and bad professionalism from Elgiganten.
How many days will a customer need to wait for the delivery of the order, while the delivery date has passed long before?
They should ensure smooth delivery of product to its customers since we are paying for the delivery and also for the product.
Elgiganten should not use the services of sub-standard delivery agencies like Postnord who are incapable of delivering products to customers properly.
It is a completely bad experience using Elgiganten's services for the purchase and delivery of the product.

I'm very sorry to read about your delayed package. We of course want to do our best, to deliver to expected delivery date.
Our main storage is located in Sweden. Sweden has experienced very bad weather with a lot of snow, which has caused delay in some deliveries.
I can that we shipped your ordrer 14/01. PostNord in Denmark first received it 21/01. PostNord has today announced that the package is delayed with one working day. If you have any questions about the delivery, I advise you to contact PostNord directly through their app. It is limited what our customer service can do, at this stage of delivery.
We appreciate, that you shared your experience with us.

This type of delivery is sent together with the regular store shipments and therefore includes both products for the store shelves and customer orders. Because of this, the delivery time can be slightly longer compared to choosing direct parcel shipping to your address or a local pickup point.
I checked up on your order and I can see that the product arrived at the store 22nd of January and is now ready to be picked up.

Why even have retail shops?
Why even have retail shops if basically none of the products I want are ever on display? And to make it worse, why make it so hard to find out what might be on display?
Calling yields very little info and even in the store you have to ask multiple people before finally learning that the product you want to see is not available for demo. This happened to me both for a laptop and a computer mouse. In both cases I wanted to compare some of the most highly rated products in their category to get a subjective impression. I would have even been willing to pay the few percent more for the chance to walk out of the store with a purchase I feel confident about. But no, some products are available in the box, others they can order for you and send to your home. Then I might as well order online and chose a cheaper shop.

I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed about not being able to see the products on display in our stores. We offer a wide range of items, and although we would like to, it is unfortunately not possible to have every product on display.
You can always check on our website whether a specific product is displayed in a store. When you visit the product page and look at the stock status, it will be marked with ‘Udstillet i butik’ if it is available for viewing in the specific store.
