I have 4, various sizes of the oil filled wall radiators from this company. My small modern bungalow has quality double glazing, good insulation, and solid doors throughout. I chose to end my gas supply in favour of electricity because I no longer wanted gas boiler service/standing charges. My heaters keep my bungalow warm and this is really a maintenance free alternative to gas.. I needed a small turn off/on switch that broke on my kitchen rad. I found it problematic trying to contact the company and got an email reply from the makers in Spain who very quickly gave me the UK customer service number. I bought 4 switches so I have spares. I received them within 48 hours by post. So far the entire maintenance for these heaters is £20. Over 3 years. Gas boiler services would have cost 600 pounds minimum. I use the independent function on the dial so i don't have to set a program and i just switch them on and off as required. I recommend the heaters and this company. So far reliability is 100%. Would I go back to a wet central heating system? NO I WOULD NOT.

Fast delivery; worked first time; customer very happy
Storage heater was delivered within 24 hours. Installed shortly afterwards and the heater worked first time with no problems. Customer reports the room as feeling 'toasty' and is very happy. Based on my experience, I would recommend Elnur without hesitation.

The installation was very good
The installation was very good, but I was left without instruction of how to use a system. The heaters weren’t programmed. I contacted Wise Energy but they didn’t come back to me then overnight both storage heaters were reprogrammed obviously somebody can affect my heaters magically with new technology. I still haven’t had a conversation with anybody.

While we take no part in installing the heaters, as we are the manufacturer, we're sorry to hear that you were left with no instructions on how to use your heaters after installation. The delay in programming could be due to the heater needing some time to calibrate the options. Alternatively, if you have had a GCONTROL hub installed at your property, and the heaters are compatible with Wi-Fi, it may be that the installers have remotely edited the programming.

Central heating fixed
I’ll require the services of an engineer as I had a problem with my central heating. engineer who came to my apartment to fix the problem was a very knowledgeable polite and I must say a very good engineer. He fixed the problem quickly and efficiently no mess no noise. He asked me if I had five minutes so that he could explain all the settings on the heater and the effects it would have. I’m keeping my apartment warm. He was articulate at the patient to explain anything I did not understand. I would thoroughly recommend this engineer called Steve to anyone.
It was a pleasure to have him do the repairs that were required.

Complicated set up
First impression of the heater was overly complicated to set. However, even worse it broke down after fewer than 24 hours in use. Fortunately a technician came out very quickly and replaced the defective part. Since then, so far, it is working as it should.

Totally inadequate
Totally inadequate. Useless. Not fit for purpose. Had Elnur Ecombi storage heaters installed in August 2025. Replacing the old storage heaters. Since this cold spell the heaters are totally inadequate and unacceptable. They are not fit for purpose. My fridge/freezer gives out more warm air than the storage heaters. I've had to buy free standing fan heaters to keep warm. I wouldn't give the storage heaters the time of day.

Elnur Mattira Electric Combi Boiler (Mac 15)
We live in central London and had an Elnur Mac 15 combi boiler installed in late 2017. From our experience, I would not recommend buying the product on the basis that once a problem occurs albeit a minor one, it is very difficult to find an engineer who is familiar with the product and can get the issue resolved smoothly.
Our boiler had a few issues over the years, each time we had trouble getting it resolved despite having spent a lot money hiring heating / boiler engineers attempting the repairs. In one incident when the boiler stopped working, having gone through a few heating engineers (and several hundred pounds) we were advised to replace the boiler with new by an Elnur recommended engineer. Luckily, we have a friend who is a qualified electrician and helped identify the problem being a failed element in the built-in hot water tank, so he simply connected the associated wires to a different (a spare) element within the tank and the boiler is back to normal.
Another issue we have had fairly early on to this day is with the expansion valves within the boiler: each time when we first switched on DHW, large amount of piping hot water overflows into the tundish drain. Again, no engineer we have tried could come up with cost effective solution. We have resorted to manually switch on a hot water tap each time for approx. half hour to help reduce pressure on the expansion valves before the overflow settles down.
Currently we are having problem with an eroded connection joint to the unvented hot water tank, causing a water leak from the tank. We are again having difficulty finding an engineer to resolve the problem. It is likely that we will be advised to replace the boiler again.
Elnur UK in Manchester does have very helpful in house technical support team, but remote advice can’t meet the needs of customer’s day to day repair work. It is this lack of a network of Elnur trained engineers for maintenance and repairs that makes owning an Elnur boiler very inconvenient and expensive. On this basis, I wouldn’t recommend to buy this product if you are not within the immediate geographical reach of Elnur’s own engineers for after care / repairs.

Following receipt of the serial number, we can confirm that the MAC15 was never registered for a warranty. Had it been registered at installation, this would have provided access to our Elnur-trained warranty engineers, who specialise in our products and are best placed to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
We would also like to add that we actively support the wider industry by offering free product training to independent engineers and installers. This training is designed to familiarise engineers with the specific design and operation of Elnur products, helping to ensure faults are diagnosed correctly and repairs are carried out efficiently, even when the product is not under warranty. Our aim is to continuously grow the number of engineers who are confident and competent working with our products, improving long-term serviceability for customers across the UK.
