They do in fact discriminate based on breed
Their website states that they don't discriminate against dog breeds for their pet insurance policies, but they do.
I moved to the UK with my pets 2 months ago and this company is trying to say that they won't insurance my pets because they are illegal. I told them that's kind of odd as the government didn't think they were illegal when I imported them 2 months ago..... I have papered Pocket American Bullies.
I never imagined vet care would be as expensive here as it is. It costs 2-3 times more here than in the US.

We keep returning to Emerald Finance; over probably the last 10 years they have continuously given sound advice, and when remortgaging they have consistently found appropriate products and followed everything through for us through to fruition. What we value most is their approach - friendly, helpful, down-to-earth and oh-so efficient - such that it feels like dealing with trusted friends rather than an anonymous financial organisation.

I would highly recommend emerald finance. I used them for their mortgage and life insurance services. Matt was very knowledgeable and amenable to our needs a preferences when finding us the right offer. Helen was an absolute gem, a complete superstar. She regularly checked in, I never had to chase anything, always followed up on our conversations and went above and beyond a number of times. They were the only cog in my house buying process that went smoothly and without stress.
