Empress Mimi in general is AMAZING! The items I have received have all exceeded expectations. Quality, inclusive sizing and just absolutely gorgeous! I've felt my divin feminine energy every time I've worn my Empress Mimi lingerie, and I am always so excited to get my new subscription box. 10 out of 10 recommend!

I'm often cautious with lingerie because sometimes the lace and other fabrics can be harsh since I have sensitive skin but their stuff is always nice and soft against me.
I get the Queen subscription and it always makes my day when I see it has arrived.
When I have a little extra to spend I pick up a few extra pieces, and since they often have sales I can get something stunning in my budget.
They are also quick to answer me if I need help with something and are the nicest people to talk to.

Jezza went over and above in following up on my customer care issue. Even when the mistake was not the company’s fault she offered to make it right.

You get what you pay for. The prices are high, but not unreasonable. I spend on a box about the same that I would spend on a set from Victoria’s Secret, except from Empress Mimi the quality is better and it’s ethically sourced. It makes me really happy to have pieces made from nice lace, chiffon, and beautiful high-quality materials, and to know that they were made with love makes a difference. There are options for pricing, so you don’t have to get the really expensive box (but you’ll want to, trust me). They always arrive on time. I got at least 10 subscription boxes and received a unique set each time (I was worried I’d get the same thing twice, but that never happened). The few times I have had to contact customer service, I have been helped by the lovely Jezza who resolved all of my concerns like magic!!

My subscription is on pause right now because my lingerie drawer is now full, but I think it’s getting close to time to start swapping some pieces out for new ones… ;)

I decided to try one of the subscription boxes, as it seemed like such a great deal and I also like the flexibility of being able to stop/start when you like. I like that there was an online form to fill in to give an idea of what styles in general you prefer, and an opportunity to select which of their current designs you definitely were interested in and which you had no interest in trying. I hope this means I will not be sent ones in the future I selected that I didn't like but of course I will have to wait and see.
The first box arrived and the quality is fantastic I was pleased to see. A design I had selected that I wished to try. Lovely material and it feels expensive, with decent amount of stretch (which to me is an important factor in how comfortable it will be) however the size I had selected (based on their sizing charts) was too large. Not just, oh its a little big but it'll work, but full on it's so big for me the pants are hardly staying up. I have had a back and forth email exchange with a member of customer services (Jezza) who has been responsive and given helpful replies and I cannot fault her at all. It does amuse me that by my measurements I am indeed put as the size I ordered but it was so off. I have sent the items back to exchange for a different size and am yet to get new ones so I cannot say much more than that.
I will note that given that the sizes they do are in s/m/l etc and not in measured standard sizes, and it is an online store, I think that it feels a little unfair that returns are not free. But I also can see that is more likely an expectation from experience with larger companies and understandable from the view point of it being a smaller business.
I think the designs are interesting and different to the standard, these are definitely, to me, for fun for I cannot see the designs offering proper support to larger cup sizes. But of course I am open to the possibility I could be proved wrong with whatever they send me in the subscription boxes. I would also like to see more diversity in models in terms of body types and sizes on the website as I do feel that for one offering to larger body sizes and cup sizes that it could do with more images that weren't of smaller cup sized and slim women. It can be difficult to picture how something will look on you when the image given is the complete opposite of what you look like!

This elegant and ladylike sea-inspired set makes me feel like a mermaid within its threads of scalloped lacing over the lap and orbs that furnish the form with modesty in a mystic colourway harmonising with the saltwater sea. Two halves of a semi-matte metalwork clam hook together between the cups to ornately conceal the model’s fastening in a contrasting yet complementary textured gold against a band of pearlescent, emerald satin. The ouvert brief with its unique silhouette holds a dual frame of crossover straps that style well over fishnet tights and modesty briefs in co-ordinating colours. The creative way the top piece has been designed has the mirrored hook of the clam’s ligaments tessellated between wireless cups of sumptuously heavy lacework, inspiring one to feel they’re dressed in treasures of the sea.

I ordered several sets as part of the Christmas sale and had some trouble figuring out the right sizing/styles that worked for my body shape. The one set that fit well, though, I loved, so when I got a great special off the mailing list (definitely sign up for the mailing list!) I reached out to customer service. Jezza was fantastic at responding quickly and helping me to sort out my size. She took great care in making my whole experience flow smoothly... and now I have four more sets on the way with a FREE replacement bra for the one that I ordered that didn't quite fit!

I have rarely encountered such thoughtful customer service.
