I’ve been going to this gym for about a month now, and it’s honestly been such a great experience. The classes helped me so much as a beginner — the environment is relaxed, welcoming, and never intimidating. Everyone is genuinely helpful and supportive, which makes such a difference when you’re just starting out.
Big shoutout to Julia and Chris for being so encouraging — they really made me feel comfortable and motivated. Highly recommend.
I joined Energie fitness city west in December I done a couple of classes which I really enjoyed all of the instructor are lovely and very welcoming especially Kevin and yulia, Kevin was one of the first to show me around and always has a smile on his face when you enter the gym nothing is too much trouble I felt so welcome starting with little to none gym experience I then started PT sessions with yulia she’s amazing from her meal plan to the PT app the results I’m seeing are amazing I’ve already done 8 sessions and have signed up for another 12 starting with her again today and I can’t wait to see these results thanks so much for everything ~Laura Das
This is a rating purely for Yuliia...I worked with her for a month to gain confidence in the way I exercise. Yuliia helped me so much and she was very good and patient with me. She is funny and made the sessions fun but equally brutal (in a good way). I now join her spinning classes and thoroughly enjoy them also.
I have to say Yuliia works hard and enjoys her job in helping others, and for the above I would highly recommend her.

I have been visiting Energie fitness citywest more than a year now. Begin a beginner at gym I only did treadmill and cycle initially (a bit shy😂). Later on I joined group sections and it worked for me.We have a good team spirit and good instructors, they are helping me in each exercise and guide me through where to focus while doing each exercise. I feel more confident now and All credits go to Energie fitness.Thanks to all my instructors. You guys are doing a good job. Keep going and growing together. All the best🥂

The place has taken a drop in standards over the last 2to3 years.
Continuous issues with hot water and now no toilets for the last couple of weeks.
They have wasted money removing male and female changing rooms and now have 3 comunal showers that are very small with no room to change and they are now not working , they have not invested in equipment just wasted resources making a mess of the showers and changing rooms.It is not a persons based business anymore they only want high turn over off members as to increase revenue which has badly effected they experience of training, it is crowded and at peak times very hard to get a machine.
I have on multiple occasions asked about hot water issues and it seems at this stage it is a cost saving problem more than an issue with the showers.
A very high turn over off staff also , which indicates managerial issues.
There are 2 very long standing members off staff Kevin and Karen who are two of the best around very welcoming and helpful but there hands are tied with continual issues of basic facilities in relation to hot water and toilets. The issue is at a managerial level , the current manger informed when asked that the hot water and showers would be operational Monday two weeks ago and still not in order.
Unfortunately I have had to leave this review which I would not normally do.

Two stars. For months, this gym has had ongoing issues with hot water. Every time I've asked, I get a different excuse. Now, the toilets have been broken for weeks. It's ridiculous! We're paying full price for a membership and not receiving basic facilities. The management needs a serious overhaul.
One star. I've been a member of this gym for several months, and my experience has been incredibly frustrating. The hot water is almost never working; I've lost count of the excuses I've been given. Now, to add insult to injury, the toilets have been out of order for weeks! This is completely unacceptable. We're paying full price for a membership, and yet we can't even rely on basic amenities like hot water and functioning restrooms. The lack of proper maintenance and the poor management are frankly shocking. I strongly advise potential members to look
One star. This gym's management is clearly failing its members. The constant issues with hot water and the prolonged closure of the restrooms demonstrate a complete lack of care and competence. We pay our dues expecting functional facilities, and this gym consistently fails to deliver.
I have been a member of this gym for almost two years and have always had positive experiences with the staff, who are consistently polite and professional. However, I was shocked and disappointed by the manager, who is also the owner. After I forgot my access key, he asked me to check in at the front desk. After providing my phone number, he accused me of repeatedly forgetting my key, which was not true. When I calmly pointed out that this was the first time he assisted me and that his statement was rude, he told me that I could leave if I found his tone offensive.
Under such circumstances, I felt disrespected and had no choice but to cancel my membership. Despite being effectively told to leave, the gym still required a 30-day notice to cancel the membership, which I found unreasonable given that I was asked to leave in the first place. I know I will never return, and what’s even more disappointing is that I had planned to recommend this gym to two of my friends, but I can no longer do so after this negative experience. I truly hope the management reconsiders how they treat long-time members.
Fantastic gym, great variety of classes. Big shout out to Karen, who always has time to implement the right technique and introduction to new equipment.

When I initially contacted the gym about my illness, I clearly communicated that I was unsure when I would be able to return. I was advised by a staff member to put my account on hold, with the understanding that I could reactivate it when I was able to return.
Had I been properly informed about your policy(sent after dropping couple of email)regarding membership holds and the option to cancel with the ability to rejoin later, I would have made a different decision. Instead, I trusted the information I was given and believed that my account was temporarily paused, as I was told.
Unfortunately, I only realized recently that I’ve been continuing to pay for a service I haven’t used. I’m reaching out to the manager because I believe I received incorrect information, which led to my ongoing charges despite my inability to use the gym.The manager is quite rude, instead of accepting the mistake is now rolling the ball onto me
I have been a member for 2 years. It's not the best gym, but I can tolerate as it has the basic equipment I need. I knew some staff as well and they were lovely. What annoyed me recently is how they handled my membership freeze as I was on holiday. The first person I called said yes, they will freeze it but I might get charged the immediate next month due to their billing cycle which is fine. But then, I got charged on 2 monthly payments. I rang the gym and they said the second one was a mistake but will flag the manager to give me a call back the next day which I didn't get. I had to ring them back again 5 days later, and the manager himself said my membership is cancelled just this month and cannot do any refund. The manager talked very rude as well, kept interrupting me from explaining what happened. He did extend my freeze and said I can still go to the gym without paying. But I might just cancel my membership altogether coz I don't want to support businesses who doesn't know how to deal respectfully their customers.
Working with Karen at Energie Fitness, she is a great trainer. Karen, listens to her clients and adjusts the exercise program
for their needs and capabilities. I am recovering from a shoulder injury and Karen adjusted my program to build the strength back safely. Enjoy working with her in the coming months
I’ve been a member of this gym since it opened, and it’s always been a fantastic experience. The trainers are friendly and welcoming, which makes coming here something I really enjoy—especially my day one, Kevin! I mostly do the classes, and they’re great for keeping me motivated—especially the lunchtime ones, which fit perfectly into my schedule. The positive and encouraging atmosphere has been a huge part of helping me stay consistent with my fitness goals. This gym has really helped me stay healthy and happy!
The facility was top class.
Chris o Donahue was very helpful in showing me all the equipment Andy correcting my technique will be back again for sure highly recommend this gym.💪
There is no Central clock to check the time ( I usually do not bring phone), Sanitizer box at the entrance is always empty.Some of the treadmill machines are taking time to restart and start workout.

I joined this gym temporarily 5 years ago while I wanted to find a suitable gym nearer home. Why did I stay? There is a good variety of classes. The staff are friendly and encourage members to push themselves. On the downside air conditioning has been promised each summer. The studio usually has 1/2 fans but it becomes very hot in warmer times. The spin bikes have not been upgraded since the gym opened and badly need to be serviced. Tonight the first 4 bikes I sat on the saddle wouldn’t tighten. This is dangerous!
There is a good variety of gym equipment to be used in classes or on the gym floor.
I highly recommend this gym.
Crowd is good but the gym has to think about adding abs machine and obvious the ventilation system is missing which causes more sweat in summers and everyone is sweating.
