Really enjoying this gym. Venus is incredibly kind and given I was nervous joining the gym she always makes me feel comfortable and welcome, especially on my first day.

Expect mad aircon, always too cold
The only big issue in this gym is the air conditioning, which is awfully insane.
It’s always on, even when it’s freezing cold already, and there is absolutely no need for it. Moreover (and this is the worst) the strong cold airflow hits you directly (especially if you’re doing squat or bench press), and this is very bad. Many people complain about it, but it makes no difference whatsoever. The staff sometimes will agree to set it to a more acceptable power, but even then nothing happens.
I wonder
1) if they know how to use the system (there should be a way to set the splitters in a way that they do not blow on us);
2) how they do not realise that, besides the fact we risk to catch a pneumonia at every session, just training itself becomes dangerous (cold muscles are more prone to contracture or worse).
If it wasn’t for the above, quality/price is definitely a good gym.

I am very disappointed with the help that the academy gives to its students. When I looked for them, I said .... do you help me understand the devices and how to make and work them ??? the answer was positive, anyone is interested for positive responses. But it was the other way around, I had a follow-up day and the training washed my hands. ... as I said before, nothing more was done or said. JUST A DAY OF AID. Of course I did it alone ....... Last week I did a wrong exercise and ended up in a massage parlor because I did a wrong exercise and it gave me a very strong muscle pain in my back. ,, I had to pay £ 40.00 pounds.I still have until February 13 to exercise. Today I come to the academy and I want to speak to the manager or the ok manger., Thank you

Great facilities for a very decent price.
Equipment is well-varied, lots of accessible workouts available, gym areas are spacious and easy to utilise, there's lots to do considering how low the monthly fee is compared to some less impressive gyms.

A good value gym overall
This gym is very good value overall, however when things break it can take a while for them to be fixed - the lockers in the changing rooms are a case in point, however these have now (thankfully) been replaced. They could do with some window blinds for when it's sunny. Also, the music is rather weird for a gym and seems to be someone's personal playlist than tunes that are uplifting and motivating!

Effective, no frills
Generally excellent service for the price. Locker room facilities not great, showers are bad but the machines are usually well maintained. I get my workout in without trouble.

There is no supervision in the weights…
There is no supervision in the weights area. This results in men putting more weight on bars and as a result drop them in an uncontrolled way causing huge alarming bangs. As someone who suffers from PTSD this causes me great distress and discourages me from using the gym as often as I would like.
