Just started back doing some excercise after 2 yrs off , retired now at 65 and I am enjoying my time in the Gym , friendly and has all the equipment I need , taking it slow but positive

Upon entering your met by helpful friendly staff, who are more than willing to help you with any enquiry you may have. That extends into the gym the staff are more than helpful making it a gym with a nice atmosphere and a pleasure to go.

Great well managed Gym
Great well managed Gym, friendly helpful staff, modern, clean, hot showers. Best gym in area in my opinion. Cardio section with punch bags is rare and energie has it. Ticks all the boxes!!

Great gym
Great gym, euipt with latest equipments. The availability of classes and gym sessions are great. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Improvement
Polite and helpful staff, they eager to provide their informed opinion. There is always someone available to ask if I need help.
Three disadvantages I personally find for the gym itself are the following:
(A) There are no available slots for women only (e.g. for religious reasons), or a separate room for women only.
(B) There are no rooms that you can book for yourself in slots (up to an hr), or a room for exercise without equipment such as stretching, HIIT, and push-ups.
(C) In many cases there is only one piece of equipment of one type available at a time e.g. there is only one leg-press machine available, and as a result individuals keep waiting for each other to finish using them.

I am however sad to hear you are not completely satisfied with the facilities provided within the gym. With regards to the women only facilities, some of our clubs do provide this however it is not always possible to provide this due to the restrictions of space.

I absolutely love this gym
I absolutely love this gym. Energise is the best gym around. The staff are so friendly, feels like a family there. No one is ever to busy to help you. The classes they provide are fantastic. The trainers there are so lovely and really make you feel at ease. Really explain everything you need to do.
So glad I found and joined énergie. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

Lack of popular machines
There is only one machine for each, would be good if popular machines were doubled up, pec dec especially always being used. Stations grouped a little better, chest area, shoulders, legs, have these machines grouped together so not walking the gym on same body part

Positive vibes and lovely staff
The atmosphere at Energie is so lovely its a great place to start your fitness journey whatever level you're at. They have conditioning and hiit training kind of stuff downstairs as well as some weight machines and upstairs is more weight machines and my favorite part: free weights. My partner and I like to train on gymnastics rings sometimes and they let us put them up on the bars kindly. Whenever we arrive or leave we get a warm welcome/goodbye. The staff always ask how we're doing and if we had a good workout which makes you want to keep coming back even on those days you feel unmotivated. Also in addition to the lovely vibes it's always spotlessly clean and they have cleaning sprays for gym goers to clean the equipment after use which is really good! Gyms can be gnarly places for ego and self importance especially lifting weights which puts people off.. but Energie makes everyone feel welcome and supported so you just focus on yourself and your goals. Ive had memberships at 3 different gyms as I've moved locations ect and Ive also worked at a gym and hand on heart this is my fave!

Changed from Rct leisure to energie due…
Changed from Rct leisure to energie due to not being able to get to the gym due to the new booking scheme. No issues joining it was quick and easy, and I was upgraded due to being a nhs worker. Staff are always so friendly and always willing to help out, only downside for me is the struggle to get on the equipment upstairs and also not having the equipment which I'm used to, but I am trying to adapt and since joining I can't seem to book on the classes but I will keep trying!!

An excellent gym
An excellent gym, the staff are all friendly, the range of equipment is good and more importantly the atmosphere is relaxed. I’m not exactly in the best shape I could be in, and my confidence isn’t exactly high but I feel comfortable going in on my own and doing what I need to do without the worry of judgement.

Was quite apprehensive about joining a gym as I didn't want to be the chubby bloke in the corner surrounded by people who are in peak shape getting looked down at, how wrong I was from the initial phone call to getting showed around all of the staff were so positive and welcoming and most of the gym users are more than happy to answer and questions you have or any advice you my need, very clean gym will all covid 19 procedures followed. well done keep up the good work
