Absolute vermin!!!!
This company makes it difficult to understand their toll system.
I had no idea that I'd actually gone through a toll in Dublin where I was driving for the first time.
No letter received till I'd unknowingly missed the payment date and had a £49.50 charge added.
Total scammers!
Bad karma comes to bad people...
How can you sleep at night??

This company is running a scam on behalf of the UK government. They send you a fine abroad (Switzerland in my case) even though your account was already in credit! The fine comes by snail mail from Sweden. The lette ris not tracked and has no date stamps on the envelope. The letter inside is dated over three weeks in the past, and it informs you that you have to pay extra unless you pay within 14 days! They make it exceptionally difficult for you to contact them, or even know who to contact.
When you eventually find their email address, they say a case has been opened, and you receive a link to a website with no information about the complaint whatsoever. They claim is will take more than 42 days to respond.
Since this is clearly a scam, I can already predict the answer... they will claim they did a review without stating any details whatsoever and somehow reach the conclusion that your appeal failed, without explaining any reasons. Why should they? They're backed by the UK government, so they're above the law.

send hugely inflated fines with unrealistic short payment times, refuse any challenge to the fines, even in the face of clear proof of no wrong doing. They instead ignore your challenge and send an even higher inflated fine, or a fake lawyers letter trying to intimidate you into paying.
DO NOT PAY THESE FINES they are criminals

I have now added an English translation below:
A letter threatening Swedish debt recovery agents was full of errors, lies and discrepancies.
The contact number they gave doesn't work.
They claimed I'd had 2 prior reminders but this was my 1st letter from them (4 months after the actual crossing of the QE bridge which was paid inside 3 days).
Their statement of amount due was just random numbers. It started with an amount of ca 500 Norwegian crowns. This case doesn't involve Norway - I live in Sweden and my vehicle is Swedish registered.
They then say (wrongly) I've paid them over £1400! Well good - I want that returned.
They end by saying I owe them ca 1500 Swedish crowns but convert this to ca £1480! What??
Their payment instructions give a bank giro number which is not registered to the bank they claim it is. They give an OCR number (used in Sweden as an encoded identifier for the payment) which is not accepted by the receiving giro account.
For foreign drivers I have important news. In a written reply from the UK Department for Transport they admit the following:
"Whereas UK registered keeper details are provided by the DVLA, Euro Parking Collection (EPC) specialises in the identification, notification and collection of unpaid charges across Europe, and liaise with the vehicle licensing authorities of numerous countries on National Highways’ behalf. This is why the Dart Charge website advised that there were no outstanding PCNs relating to your vehicle."
This means that foreign drivers wanting to check if they have any penalties to pay will be misled into thinking there's nothing to pay. The first they'll learn of any penalties applied will be when a letter arrives many weeks later when it's already too late to pay the minimal penalty. I believe this is an offence under the Equality Act of 2010 and I'm seeking legal advice. If you have comments on this please get in touch.

I want to sign up and than he doesn't remember my password. I gave my address and licence plate number, but there is no explanation of what to do on the site that all kinds of terms I've never heard from. I gave my licence plate number, and it's says duplicate, but what it means? That I did it twice? I can't login even if I know it's a good password. I can't reach the contactservice by email because I didn't get a confirmation email and don't have a number.
I've tried 2 emailadresses and the same happens.

In January, we were returning from Bulgaria to England after the Christmas holidays. We bought a vignette for all the countries we passed through. In April we received a letter that we had to pay a PCN fine because we didn't have a vignette for Hungary. Luckily I kept the receipt. I noticed that the car plate was written incorrectly, instead of 1 it was written I. I sent an appeal with an attached photo of the receipt. Not long after, we received a second letter saying that we should also send the vehicle documents. I scanned and sent everything again. The deadline for paying the fine was approaching. I rang to EPC plc and I spoke with a member of staff. The lady on the phone advised me to pay and that my money would be refunded if the information I provided was correct. Nothing since then! I have not received my money, I haven't got any response from them too. I messaged them again, no answer.....! Fraudsters!

I have got a letter for an outstanding amount re M50 toll charges in Ireland for two allegedly unpaid journeys, in relation to which I'm now being asked to pay £153.09 for 2 journeys which cost 7.40 Euros (£6.24 at the time of writing)
I have evidence that these journeys were paid for, 1 day after the 2nd journey, a week later.
I don't understand where the extra is coming from, the customer services is useless, and I'm find this very stressful.

If I could give EPCplc less than 1 star, I would. I rec'd a ticket a year after traveling to the Balkans. Even tho the ticket's pictures are very blurry, and puts our rental car parked in Belgrade city, and I have pictures of us being in the hillside, taking a cooking class, I decided better to pay the ticket than stress over it.
I tried to pay, but kept getting a message that stated: *The invoice/reference/case number and number plate do not match". After trying every permutation of the numbers, always the same result, day after day. I then rec'd a second ticket, with late charge & decided to call them. No answer-- EVER. I finally went online & to my surprise, Trustpilot was flooded with hundreds of complaints & nothing short of horrible experiences-- 517 (now 518) to be exact. I also found out that this company was investigated by BBC Watchdog. I did find an email, so decided to write to them anyway: privacyATepcplcDOTcom.
I also CC'd watchdogATbbcDOTcoDOTuk
If you have a ticket, or issue with this company, DO NOT PAY until you hear back from them &/or BBC Watchdog.

I had a letter from Euro Parking Collection Plc saying we had not paid a toll in Portugal in February 2024 with a picture of our car.
I nearly paid it but the bank said the payment looked like a scam so I cancelled it and then looked around on other websites about it. One person said to go to Pagamento de Portagens website and check if you have any outstanding toll payments in Portugal and this is what I did and then paid online there. I then printed everything off to show I had paid and then went back into the website to print off that there was nothing outstanding and printed that off and sent it all to Euro Parking Collection at their address: PO Box 897, Hayes, UB3 9AU.
Waiting to hear back from them.
Please check this out for yourself before you do anything just in case this is not correct.

Scam! Keep sending invoices, and they never reply to any inquiries!

I received a parking fine in a car park with no clear notices detailing the parking fees which was bad enough, under duress I paid this by international bank transfer.
To add insult to injury EPC then proceed to try and charge me again when I get back in the country.
If I was being cynical I'd imagine this happens a lot and people are unable to appeal because they can't find the payment details and this is how EPC make their money.

I've seen many reviews on here where innocent people are stressing about EPC. Fear not, if you ignore the EPC correspondence or submit a receipt via their website, they will eventually cancel the bill.
Do not pay them.

We were in Portugal in 2019. I went to the post office numerous times to pay the toll but was told there were none. Later in 2019 I received an invoice which I paid. Do I have a receipt? After 5 years? I do not. I either sent a cheque or put it on my credit card. I cannot access either after 5 years.
This penalty charge notice is for: tolls 4.91, adm. fees 15.12 and adm. cost for 41.85. Total 61.88
I live in Canada. It took 5 years to send me another invoice. Really? So a fee for under 5 euros has now escalated to 61.88. Maybe they should look more closely at their records. I cannot read the license plate of make of the car in the pic they sent me. Could be anyone. Do not pay this company, especially after 5 years.
I cannot submit this unless it was in the last 12 months so although this experience was 5 years ago I will change the date to last year because I only received this notice now. Does that not strike everyone else as odd?

I'm being pursued for allegedly unpaid Portuguese Tolls from 2019. Having slept since then and cleared out my drawer of 'keep it you may need it' stuff, I can only remember asking on returning the car if any Tolls were payable and none where.
I have checked on the website to see if there are any payable and nothing is due. I'm trying to get a copy of the pickup / drop off documents you get on site but can't get a working link for the Fire Fly contact page. I have no idea if this is the car we hired or as some posts here experienced, not actually our car. I have the original booking details / email but that's it.
Being a bit of a scaredy cat, I have paid the actual tolls asked for but not the admin fees, having never been contacted prior to this demand from EPC. Does anyone know the correct legal position on this. I didn't see the One Show article but have read a summary of it on the BBC website but it doesn't give that much info.
Now currently having sleepless nights. Any advice?

I attended a concert in Birmingham this weekend and our Travel Lodge advised parking here at EPC
After a complete nightmare trying to download app all my details uploaded
And after speaking to hotel staff told the parking fee for 24 hours will come out when exiting
So I have had no money taken for parking as yet but 3 fraudulent payments from Chec Republic totally over £100 for a monthly subscription to 2 different fitness centres
Unable to contact EPC to discuss
NEVER USE

I live in Belgium. To drive in London I tried to pay TfL direct but that isn't possible. First you have to create an account with EPC. The EPC website is terrible. After 3 hours of trying to register with them I experienced multiple problems too numerous to list here. No one answers the phone. I gave up. I've made a formal complaint to TfL. I doubt that will do any good.

I used the M50 in Ireland on 28th February 2023. I paid the toll £7 on the 29th February and have the receipt. I received a letter on the 23rd of February 2024 saying I hadn't paid. I appealed sending the receipt and was told I hadn't paid enough. The appeal was thrown out. I have asked how to appeal through an independent body and got no response. There is nothing in their literature to say how to contest this charge. Today I was going to pay the £95 charge but luckily came across this site. I will now be ignoring this company that gives Hayes muddlesex as its address and forwarding my complaint to watchdog
