While the total length is the same if I wanted 4x 10 I would have order that

While the total hose length supplied was correct, I fully appreciate that receiving two 20 m hoses is not the same as receiving four 10 m hoses, and you’re absolutely right that this should have been discussed with you beforehand.
I was disappointed to learn that this substitution was made without you being informed, as I would have contacted you directly to confirm whether this was acceptable before despatch. That’s not the level of communication we aim to provide, and I apologise for the oversight.

I went to the new showroom to collect my roof cleaning and pressure washing equipment. The staff were really knowledgeable and big help in deciding the right equipment for my needs. Also, all that I needed was in stock and was able to take everything with me.

Very poor after sales support
I bought a Kiam gutter cleaning kit and rods in November 2024 to clean our gutters. It worked well but as the leaves had dropped by the time I used it, I only used it once and stored it carefully in a garden shed for the winter. A year later, when I got it out to use, I found that the drum had rusted through and was therefore unusable. I contacted customer services who were polite but totally unhelpful. I even offered to buy a new drum, as this was the cheapest part of the kit, but they said that they could not get hold of one. I did some research on the internet and it appears that this company either owns or is the sole supplier for Kiam so I am sure they could have helped if they had wanted to.
Not wanting to write off nearly £700 I wrote to the CEO Jonathan Paxton requesting his help but did not receive a reply.
I would not buy anything from them again. A very poor way to treat your customers.

Since your original contact, I’m pleased we were able to source and supply a replacement drum, which I understand has now been received and resolved the issue for you. I’m glad we could get this sorted in the end, and I appreciate you acknowledging that you were happy with the outcome and intended to remove the review.
To clarify for anyone reading: the drum corrosion occurred after extended storage, and replacement drums aren’t normally stocked as standalone items. That said, we did take the extra step of sourcing one specifically to help avoid you having to replace the full kit, which we were happy to do.
I’m sorry again that this wasn’t resolved more smoothly at the outset, and I appreciate your patience while we worked through it. If you ever need any further help or advice in the future, please don’t hesitate to get in touch directly.

The product is really good and performs exactly as advertised. However, the model purchased differs slightly from the manual supplied, so assembly was more difficult than it should have been. The product also came with various small parts which were not specified in the manual, making it confusing as to what the parts are for, and whether or not they need to be fitted somewhere before use.
