I would not make the mistake of using this company for your insurance. They have been a nightmare to deal with.
They tell one thing and then go back on their word.
Their South African call centre staff do not give me any impression that they care about their customers.

All was well until I unfortunately had to make a claim. I did a web chat and the service I received was poor and the agent wasn’t friendly nor helpful. I opened a second web chat afterwards and the second agent was abysmal. Extremely rude, argumentative and downright awful. A complaint was opened at my request but subsequently closed immediately (I did receive a £50 credit for my complaint) but never an apology and I do believe this should have been looked into for service quality. I would not recommend esure due to this service level.

I’ve had the misfortune to need to deal with the claims team, and have suffered nothing but problems for the last 4 weeks.
Poor communication. Only contact you when they need something. Don’t respond to customer requests for help. Unclear on expectations. No accountability (all emails are from “the claims team”). No process to escalate complaints (I’ve asked three times for their written complaints procedure and still had nothing on this).
After confirming, on a recorded call and in writing, that my claim would be settled “within 3-5 days” the funds failed to arrive after 5 days. When I queried this, I was told a document they had previously confirmed receipt of was missing, before the operator backtracked when challenged, and then told me they’d had a “system problem”.
Still waiting for funds to arrive, as they can’t make a payment for 72 hours. In 2026. Nobody cares. Without doubt, the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

In comparison to other insurance companies it was a lot easier to navigate around your website and make a purchase.

Other insurance companies were confusing, even though they were cheaper, and was unsure what I was buying

Absolutely shambolic, had an accident over 4 weeks ago now, still awaiting feedback with reference to the mechanics review. Terrible i would not recommend this company to anyone.

Easy renewal, wanted to stay with Esure so was pleased that their quote was competitive.

Easy to renew my home insurance and pay without an issue. Email received quickly as to how to access documents.

The process was straight forwatd, and custormer service was beutiful and pleasant

Accessed via a comparison website. Forms completed quickly with a quick response in terms of the quote.

Thought they were good. I accepted an online quote with a new car registration, which it asked me to confirm, and provided me with a much cheaper quote.

Doing it online "didn't sync" with their system, and without communication, they tried to charge me over double the cost.

I've told them I won't be renewing with them unless this is fixed.
