I am a new customer and my experience with eToro so far has been extremely disappointing.
I submitted a request to transfer my Cash ISA from another provider to eToro. Separately, I deposited approximately $26,000 to invest and copy a trader.
Before committing, I wanted to ensure I was only copying new trades, not existing open positions. I am absolutely certain this option existed when I was initially exploring the app.
However, when I was ready to proceed, the “Copy open trades” toggle had completely disappeared. As this directly affects risk exposure, I did the responsible thing and contacted Customer Services for clarification.
The response I received was unacceptable. It was clearly automated, irrelevant to my question, and consisted of generic links that did not address the issue at all. This is not customer support — it is noise.
I also note from your website that account Tiers (Gold/Platinum) are supposed to provide improved service and remove the £49.99 annual subscription fee, including access to an actual human agent.
Despite funding my account and opening it over two days ago, my tier has not updated and I remain stuck on Bronze, with no explanation and no meaningful support.
Every ticket I raise appears to be handled by a bot, not a trained representative.
Frankly, this is NOT acceptable for a platform that markets itself as a serious investment service.
As a direct result of these failures:
I have cancelled my ISA transfer
I am now considering withdrawing my investment funds entirely
eToro — you need to do better.
I expect a clear, human response addressing all of the above issues.

This was the first time I attended an event from eToro. It was a great event, very well organized.
I love sports, however not really football and I have never been to such a game in a big stadion. That was a great experience.
What I enjoyed about the event to meet jean-Paul. I follow his podcast and I learn a lot about it.
Further I liked meeting a popular investor and talking to him.
But most of all, I enjoyed talking to other investors. How they invest, their emotions during volatile periods etc.
A well organized event!

I opened a Cash ISA account with eToro after seeing one of the best rates offered (4.81%), however it quickly turned out to be a lie...
I have seen quite a few people actually complaining about the same thing regarding daily interest not being paid, and/or being well under the rate advertised...
I had the account for less than two weeks after seeing I was getting £0.00 interest paid on my ISA which I maxed out with £20,000...
I withdrew the funds, and closed the account after this, and after dealing with their useless customer service, and junk chat bots...
I would definitely avoid these scammers, and look elsewhere for any investments...

Etoro app was not great to navigate. Was unable to easily open a cash ISA account. Wrote to etoro who incorrectly informed me thst I could only open a stocks and shares ISA and nitvthe cash ISA. All very confusing and incompetent. Went to another bank.

There appears to be quite a few reviews regarding CASH ISA accounts, and unfortunately I’m having to add to this. I’ve had nothing but problems since opening my account. For the first week, £0 was displayed on daily interest accrued. Almost two weeks of having the account and numerous complaints, daily interest is still incorrect, and at times £0 is still displayed.
Ultimately, interest accrued is approximately half of what is should be, and there is no indication of it being corrected.
Moving forward I will submit a complaint to the financial ombudsman, in order to have my case investigated.

Absolutely appalling customer service. I tried to setup two accounts, one for me and one for my wife. The first one got stuck in verification and other returned the deposit to fund the account. I raised a ticket which they closed without a solution. I spent an hour and half talking their chatbot with no progress.

I had an amazing time with my account manager, Thomas Williams, he not only was super interactive the entire time, he was also chatting to me and building a more personal relationship instead of just talking about investing etc, this really sets the customer experience apart from other platform and I am looking forward to many more events with him and Etoro as a whole!

Avoid - thieves.
1 after only changing the phone number they blocked the account - I suffered large financial losses ( their excuse )
2 I submitted ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS WITHIN 30 MIN - I don't think I need to tell you how much trouble this can cause if you are away from home
3 Useless and stupid customer service - NO PHONE NUMBER. And the scheduled call - no one called from etoro - next scum ( their action )
I'm waiting 4th day for my money, in the meantime useless support writing idiotic messages - the same all the time " we understand, we escalated". I uploaded tons of documents" proof of everything to everything" - I still suffer financial losses, basically - they stole my money and writing polite messages: go fcuk yourself.
Conclusion - I've checked other options - and as it turns out etoro - it's a primitive, expensive platform that doesn't guarantee the security of YOUR MONEY. If you don't want to have problems, use a platform that ensures the security of YOUR MONEY AND TRANSACTIONS, and you can contact them whenever you need. etoro is not one of them - Toro doesn't care about small and medium-sized clients at all. After their excuse and action - effect - stolen money. The matter has been referred to the Ombudsman.
