I returned a product to Euro Car Parts almost one month ago, and I am still waiting for my money back. The tracking confirmed they received the return weeks ago, yet the refund never appeared in my account.
I called their customer service today – waited on hold for half an hour just to speak to someone. When I finally got through, all they said was “you’ll get an email, we will process the refund” – no clear timeline, no proper explanation, just vague promises.
This is completely unacceptable. It’s my money, I followed all their return steps, return the item back promptly, and now I’m left waiting weeks with no update and endless phone queues. Their service is slow, unhelpful, and frustrating.

Standard euro car parts experience, not unique to this branch. Awful wait times & incompetent staff. This is the last time I will be coming here, GSF, parkers & MPD are FAR better & more organised.

On 7th July, I purchased several items from Euro Car Parts, most notably engine oil that I needed for my car.
I received notification that the order would be delivered by courier and was subsequently contacted by someone named Thomas, who asked what time I wanted the delivery as he would be in the area on Saturday. As I was working that Saturday, I replied promptly explaining that I would be available on Monday and gave two options: 9am or after 4pm.
I never heard from Thomas again.
I patiently waited until 16th July, when I contacted Euro Car Parts by email to explain that I had still not received my order. Darren apologised and told me he would contact the fulfilling branch, investigate the matter and provide an update within 24 hours.
I never received that update.
I waited again until 22nd July, when I contacted Euro Car Parts through their online chat. Sean apologised and told me that he would escalate the matter to the Area Operations Manager, again saying I would receive an update within 24 hours.
I never received that update either.
On 30th July, I contacted customer services again through the chat service. This time I spoke to Keeleigh, who apologised for the delay and arranged for a second delivery to be sent. She commented that the Rotherham depot was normally reliable, which unfortunately didn't provide much reassurance after waiting weeks for my original order.
On 1st August, I received an email from Keeleigh confirming that the replacement had been dispatched through Evri, along with two tracking numbers. She asked me to update her once the items arrived.
I checked the tracking regularly throughout the week. The parcel arrived at the Evri depot but then didn't move for eight days.
Then, despite the order still not having been delivered, I received an automated email telling me that my support ticket had been resolved and closed.
This prompted me to email Euro Car Parts again on 7th August, explaining that the parcel still hadn't arrived. I received no response.
Today, 8th August, I once again had to use the online chat service. This time I spoke to Liam, who checked the tracking and said it appeared the parcel had been damaged at the Rotherham Evri depot.
His response to the situation was:
“She did send it out promptly!”
I'm sorry, but after more than three weeks of delays, can this really be considered “prompt”?
And more importantly, what difference does it make how promptly the replacement was dispatched if I never received it?
Euro Car Parts had already been aware for weeks that I was waiting for this order. The matter had already been escalated to an Area Operations Manager. Once the replacement was dispatched, I was told it should arrive within the normal delivery timeframe. When it failed to arrive, why was nobody monitoring this or following it up? Why did I have to discover that it had been sitting at the depot for eight days and then contact Euro Car Parts yet again?
The problem isn't simply that a courier appears to have damaged or lost a parcel. Things go wrong with deliveries. The problem is the complete lack of proactive customer service afterwards.
I repeatedly contacted Euro Car Parts. I was repeatedly promised updates within 24 hours. I never received those updates. A replacement was eventually arranged, that replacement apparently failed to arrive, my support ticket was then closed despite the issue not being resolved, and I once again had to chase the company myself.
I have now requested a refund and have had to purchase the required item elsewhere.
After a month of chasing an order, I will not be using Euro Car Parts again.

Price, quality, and availability of the product, friendliness of the staff on the tills, convenient opening hours
Purchased battery 09/25. Good price easy order and pick up. Could not start vehicle twice in June + july2026. Breakdown service suggested battery failed to hold charge 12v. Local garage tested alternator no issues. Suggested battery not holding charge- 11.9v. Returned to Euro parts warranty valid for 3 years. Was informed by them and provided with a slip of paper to prove it that battery test was ok- battery just needed recharging! I thought the vehicle was supposed to do that! Nothing they could do. Thanks very much good bye. Here I am 3 days later with the breakdown service and a flat battery great start to our holiday. Euro parts were very unhelpful, dismissive and it’s basically your issue not there’s. Will not be using their ‘ service’ again.

Despite reserving the item online and confirmation email the items will be hold for me for 2 days. In the store i waited to be told one of my item was out of stock. Very disappointing

I returned the item and it has been almost 2 weeks and still no refund. Followed the process online and returned the product to my local Euro Car Parts but nothing has been done correctly which has delayed ordering the correct battery. Still had no response 15 days. A quick way to return they said on the website. I don't think so, 2 weeks and they have managed to do absolutely nothing to resolve this. Never ever ever buy from Euro Part again. Worst service in the world and the year is 2026.
Ignore the reply below as they haven't done anything still and it's 10.08.26. I do mean absolutely nothing. I have also spent 45 minutes trying to get through when you call. Does anyone actually run that business?!!!!!
No is the answer, I've had to open a dispute with the credit card company because a return cannot be booked in correctly. Really unbelievable, AI can't take over quick enough when comes to customer service as this is none existent.

Amazing service from the guys in Treforest! Had everything I needed, and didn’t receive any wrong items. Very happy!
Update. 20.08.2026
Thank you to ECP for doing a replacement battery out. Big thanks to Keeleigh (HO) and Kieran (AG Branch) who got me a replacement battery.
Original
I am out in France on holiday. My people carrier battery failed (Lion brand bought from Acocks Green Birmingham branch) and i had it tested locally to confirm.
I rang ecp as it was still in warranty for 1 further week. I explained that i will not be back until the week after expiry. They said there was nothing they could do unless i bring the battery back before that date. i have had this battery checked by ecp a year ago where it was 97%. In a year it has failed.
I've used ecp since i was 18 years old and am now 55. Looks like it is time to part ways. Customer service and good will don't exist anymore. So neither will customer loyalty.

Update, August 2026 — raised from 1 star to 3.
The problem was real: the sealed replacement box I collected from the Ipswich branch contained a house brick instead of the £395 NOCO jump starter I had paid for. Someone had returned a brick and it went back on the shelf unchecked. My first complaint got no reply for 8 days.
Once it reached the escalations team it was sorted properly. Lorrenne kept me updated and a replacement was waiting for me at Ipswich, which I collected on 11 August. It is correct and working.
Three stars, not five, because it should not take three weeks and a public review to get an answer. But credit to the escalations team for putting it right.

Staff friendly and very helpful at east Kilbride branch
The main issue is the long waiting time to reach the counter. In many cases, the same staff member is responsible for serving customers at the counter as well as collecting parts from the warehouse. This causes unnecessary delays, especially during busy periods, as customers have to wait while the staff member leaves the counter to fetch parts.
It would greatly improve customer service if there were separate staff members for the counter and the warehouse, or if additional staff were available during peak hours. This would reduce waiting times and make the collection process much more efficient.
Overall, the staff are polite and helpful, but improving the staffing arrangement would significantly enhance the customer experience.
