I am trying to watch the La Vuelta a Espana cycle races which is being marred by far too much camera shots from the helicopter, I’m begging to wonder if I’m watching a cycle race or a Travelogue of the Spanish countryside. The helicopter is a times too far away to see who the riders are and we get 5 seconds of road camera work before switching to the helicopter again lasting quite a long time,it has even been disrupted in watching the finish. Please show more Road camera work, I’m not pleased at all,I want to watch the race not castles,monasteries,orange groves, people swimming in the sea, windsurfers etc, etc.

Have been watching the world games athletics from Busapest but this has been ruined by the constant nattering of the presenters they over talk to the point of being annoying all they have to do is tell us what is happening nothing else why do you need more than one person doing the job I certainly do not need that Steph she never shuts up and talks a load of rubbish they seem to over analyse. I do not want it now watch with sound off.

Eurosport - my Eurosport app on my Sony android tv hasn’t been working well so I contacted tech support.
Was told that Eurosport won’t work on Sony tv although been quite happily watching it on said Sony tv via Google app for last 3 years!! The person responding did not seem to understand what I was conveying.
A few months ago I did have a problem with sound which was resolved by a really helpful person. I just want to watch the Tour de France just like I did last year, on my Sony Bravia android tv!!

Specifically talking about bike racing here.

Most of the time, the coverage for bsb/ wsb is fine, however when there's another sport to cover, yet again, bike racing gets pushed aside to air something else that everyone has access to with a TV and the FREE BBC channels (i.e. Wimbledon).

So, why does Eurosport feel the need to spoil it for bike fans, by terminating coverage to air something else that EVERYONE with a tv can watch on the BBC, however to continue watching coverage of BSB/WSB, you'll need Discovery +, which not EVERYONE has access to?

Whatever excuses there are, they're all BS.

Cycling coverage is absolutely great (highlights programmes are a bit wanting, as they're basically just the last hour of racing - so in the Tour I revert to ITV). Technical support though seems extremely poor. Have been watching via the app on my TV for years. Recently app completely froze, none of the known fixes working. Sought support, got no advice, but was simply told I could still watch on Play Station, Android phone, etc! I want to watch it on my large screen TV!

World Supperbikes commentary is very poor quality this season especially. The commentary team are of the quality required. They require a good quality anchor person and more on track personnel in order to provide us with a good service. As it is at the moment it shouts cheap. It was poor presentation last year but this season it is far worse. What is very annoying is that Eurosport have the charismatic personnel available to them which makes it all the cheap. Come on Eurosport you have been told previously now is the time to act or handover to another Company if you are only going to do a half hearted job PLEASE bring in the presenters with credentials.

So the centenary of Le Mans and 58 years since there was a Ferrari win. I’ve been a huge motorsport and Ferrari fan for 42 years and spent most of the weekend watching the race which was one of the best ever in my opinion……but why oh why at THE most critical stage of the race, i.e. Ferrari historically crossing the finish line to win the centenary of Le Mans, did the director switch camera view so instead of watching that historical moment, it showed the person waving the chequered flag, so missed the actual moment…..utterly idiotic. Why not show the full shot of the Ferrari crossing the line under the person waving the flag! Will never get that moment back so very cross with that ridiculous decision, no doubt the director thinking racing fans would rather watch a flag being waved rather than the rewards of three drivers battling it out for 24 hours to cross the line first on centenary year. The first time I’ve ever seen Ferrari win…..except I didn’t see ‘the winning moment’ I saw a person wave a flag…..Shame on you Director whoever you are to have missed a historical moment for motor sport fans.

Your tv commentators especially at tennis they support a player and hate the other you should kick out these type of persons

Please take Barbara schett off and bring back annabel Croft. Barbara has such a grating voice and is very inarticulate. Mats is terrific and him and annabel will bring a truly all star team back. Alice is also another lightweight...

Really bad timing on Ads has watching 24hr Le-man’s and there was a change at the front and your so called commentators did not fill us in what happened. Bad timing on all sides and bad judgement???

Awful timing of programming...u go to watch wsb and tennis is on .u go onto discovery and there is no commentary...all the channels seem dedicated to tennis!!!!... time to cancel subscription I think!!!!

OMG, what is the presenter of Eurosport GCN wearing, Ola!?? Absolutely shocking, someone needs to sort her dress code out!!!

Even with spoiler mode, it spoils most events. Reported to their technical support, but the answers sound like they're written by a chassis of a head that is missing a brain. Utter, utter incompetent. Also the mountain bike coverage doesn't include what you get on the GCN+ app, despite what was advertised.

App is flakey.

I can not believe that some commentators who cant stand or like other than english riders, or looking to blame all others are allowed to be on the panel in the breakaway "giro".

Please Eurosport, get rid of commentator Greg Haines. Watching WSB 2023 must be done with the volume turned to zero. I'm a member of a large motorcycle group who all agree that his 'hyper babble' is beyond excruciating. Just a continuous stream of rapid waffle without a break. Unbearable, inane, repetitive, contrived hysteria. Hardly a gap to include a breath or say anything interesting. Treating the observers like fools who need to be excited by endless ranting and meaningless exaggerations, screams of "Look at this" "Look at that" "Will he" "Won't he" 'fill-ins' when nothing is happening. Stating the obvious as if people are both blind and stupid, too much irrelevant information resulting in a total distraction from the event. He sounds like a cattle auctioneer from the states, compressing huge sentences into needless, unintelligible noise.

Just ruined Tour of Flanders because I have to visit their godawful website now to access the player. Low and behold, first page to load shows the winner of the race. There was nothing wrong with their old player, they finally had it sorted and offering a reasonable service, but chumps in charge need to justify their existence and decide to change things again. Second time this has happened despite them adding a switch to spoiler free mode - it clearly doesn't work! I'm done wasting money on this service, I'll just watch from alternative sources.

I have never seen a highlight programme of a cycling event over a number of days not tell you where they are going, what is the leaderboard and the route prior to starting coverage. Nor have I seen one cut off before telling you the overall classification before terminating the programme. That is until this inept lot started this year doing exactly that!
Also. For some strange - undeclared - reason they stopped covering zTop 14 rugby half way through a season? What is that about? Cannot imagine it is cost because none of the major or minor stations are interested?

I’m glad this crap is free!! WSB at Philip Island, a one hour review and the first half was ski jumping? Then it cut out half way through the race! Then race 2 cut out before the end?

YOU HAVE ONE JOB!!!!

Keep having issues with Commentry cutting out, and the constantly going to studio chats when the game has started.
Just watched the final of the women’s tennis, I like to see the on court reaction but why do Eurosport keep going the THE CUBE ??? The chats they have are pretty poor telling us what we have just seen, I HAVE JUST WATCH IT !!
Have already cancelled my subscription cus Eurosport constantly prove they are the worst sports channel available. You are watching a live event it’s almost finished and BANG they take it of to show you something you have already watched.
Terrible utterly Terrible planning.

The Eurosport App is a big step back from Eurosport Player.

I tend to leave reviews for great experience and/or service, preferring to raise concerns directly with the provider to resolve issues privately. But as Eurosport haven't replied to me, I am leaving this public review.

Eurosport recently retired their Player which worked pretty well after a shaky start. Yes, they kept showing you who'd won a cycling stage in the image for the on-demand replay (despite raising this with them repeatedly), but you could both find things and cast easily. Sports were organised well and with dates.

The replacement Eurosport App is terrible! It promotes a "spoiler-free" mode where you can choose your homepage when you log in. The app combines tabs for news and watching, so the "Watch" tab is an obvious choice to keep away from the news. This only works when you are logged in and even then it can be a bit flaky. The problem is that the app keeps logging you out very frequently. There's no check box to stay logged in so the spoiler-free mode is hopeless! If you take a natural break and need to go back to the app, you've typically been logged out and now you're looking at the results on the News tab of the thing you were watching on demand!

The biggest issue, for me at least, is the ability to cast. I'm using an iPhone 12 and the latest generation Chromecast. This worked really well with the Eurosport Player. However, it's almost impossible to use in the current Eurosport App. You can't cast from a laptop (there's no cast icon like there was in the Player when using a Chrome Browser). If you choose to cast from the Chrome Menu you simply get the blue cast icon on the TV and the laptop just carries on showing the programme. The icon is there in the App but it's so difficult to use. If you can eventually get it to cast after much swearing and closing of the app (and endless log back ins), you lose the playback controls 50% of the time. You can't pause, rewind or fast forward. If you need to take a break you have to turn the TV off and start the whole sorry experience again! It also casts without commentary, just ambient sound. Maybe this explains some others' comments in this respect? You have to select the Subtitle option, then Audio and then choose your language. Why not just default to the language of your country of residence or align it to a setting of your choice?

I'd give this 0 stars if I could on the basis of retiring a product when its replacement clearly isn't ready for use and hasn't been tested properly. I work in IT and Agile Methods are often abused in the interests of reducing time to market. Companies should remember we are paying Customers and not testers for their product.

PLEASE FIX THIS EUROPSORT!!!
