Sold me a car that would have failed an MOT. Having to book it into an independent garage for repairs. Wouldn't mind so much if they were nice but the guy treated me like an idiot- really patrionising and messed me around. Not a good experience.

Bought a car, paid the deposit, and sold my own car private. Got a call on the day my car was to be delivered to be told they had sold it to someone else.
Offered me an older car, with more miles, for more money!
Bought one in Arnold Clark next door after no real attempt to resolve the issue. The experience there was spot on and bought a car that day with next day delivery. Got free 2 year warranty and 2 years service thrown in.
**Only positive was the initial dealings with Steven at the EH EK branch**

Terrible Service. First they Sold a £15 k car in dark, found out next day that Driver car seat is ribbed and fuel tank cover doesn't lock properly. Phone them to fix the issue, Sales person said these are minor issues and deal with yourself. Sent email 3 times and not replying at all.

I enquired about a 2017 Ford Focus on 24th of May and with in days I had bought the car and went to collect it. Upon enquiring about the car I dealt with Matthew Comiskey, he was able to answer all questions I had and then sorted a warranty to go with the car. The process was easy and hassle free, I would highly recommend this dealership.

I purchased my Mercedes via the internet and phone without physically seeing the car. I was very well supported by Graeme Bowie through-out the process. When the car arrived it had a couple of problems with it. Disappointed, I contacted the dealership and spoke to Alex Galabov the Business Manager and explained the issue to him. His response was very supportive and understanding. He told me not to worry and explained that I could either return the car under the 7 day satisfaction guarantee or they will arrange for it to be repaired to my satisfaction. As the dealership was over 350 miles away from me Alex very kindly arranged for the repairs to be done locally hassle free. I am more than impressed with his personal involvement in helping me through this issue and at all times I found him to be very honest, transparent, supportive and prompt in all his communications with me. I honestly cannot thank him enough for his help and professionalism, a true gent! Will I buy again from Evans Halshaw....Yes! Will I recommend to friends and family....Yes! Looking forward to enjoying my Mercedes and will definitely be returning to you at East Kilbride for my next car no matter the distance. I just hope that both Alex and Graeme will still be around! After absolutely stinking customer service from Peter Vardy over the period of 6 days where they told me lie after lie about the car I had signed up for and insured, I cut ties and went to Evans Halshaw.
Within the day I had viewed, signed and drove away a beautiful car with a better finance deal that I had been offered at Peter Vardy.
I dealt with Stewart Bowie from the East Kilbride branch and he kept we well informed throughout the process. Top salesman and top company. Can't praise them highly enough.

After paying more than £21,000 for my sons car i noticed they had different speed rated tyres fitted to front axle,not only is this dangerous but the tyre is also a lower speed rated tyre than whats fitted to the car from audi at new and car should never have been sold with a lower speed rated tyre than what audi recommend for safe driving. i contacted Evan Halshaw and was told they would call me on the 29 December when someone that knows about tyres would be in as they dont know anything about tryre so theres the reason why this has happend.i also asked salesman if it was tyre repair kit or space saver that was in the boot of the car and ye said it was a repair kit but when I went into the boot to get inflator as tyre pressure warning was on guess what no inflator or repair kit

This is the fourth car in six years that I have purchased from Colin in East Kilbride. He is just fantastic, always goes above and beyond to get me the car that I want! Definitely the best salesman in that dealership. I would not go anywhere else.

Don’t buy your car from this garage. Atrocious customer service from start to finish when purchasing my car from Evans Halshaw, E Kilbride. It took over two months to get my car, kept getting told different stories for the delay, meanwhile my 2nd hand car had went up in price. Was given wrong price on purchase order. Was given no paperwork on purchasing car was advised everything would be sent to me and I received nothing until I contacted the garage. Car wasn’t registered to me until 2 months later, and was only done after I had contacted the garage. My old car hadn’t been put on a SORN until I contacted the garage. I didn’t receive the correct amount of tax back due to this. I complained to garage on several occasions.

I recently bought my new car from this branch and would like to give some well deserved praise to the sales team here. The staff were all very friendly and approachable right from the start and were happy to help with all my questions and indecisivenesses. Walked away with my dream car and without feeling ripped off. Thanks again!

Just a quick warning to prevent anyone else making the same mistake i did and buying this car, purchased this from Evans halshaw last week, had it delivered to me on Wednesday, it was a long distance sale as the car was based in Scotland and I’m from Newcastle, I wasn’t sure about buying the car without seeing it but the salesman assured me the car was spot on and after working for them previously I thought i’d trust them, had the car delivered and on first walk round I noticed a few bits I wasn’t happy with but I took the car and decided to get them sorted myself, after going to the body shop he pointed out to me that every panel on the car had been painted and it should have been a category s however it hasn’t been recorded by the insurance as it’s been fixed by the previous owner, the fact the parking sensor had been glued in also started causing a problem saying there was something in front of me when there wasn’t, the paint job was very poor, paint run all over and just a poor job in general, after returning it yesterday the car is now back up for sale🤷‍♂️

Poor after sales. Sales and Service at odds with each other. Ignored emails and still waiting on fulfillment of sale12 days after purchase.

Sold our car after online valuation yesterday. With no quibbling our polite & attentive buyer, David, confirmed solid offer of 96% of online estimate. Fair price agreed & payment appeared in my account today. Understandable delays of 10-15mins after appointed time, the only possible criticism.

My car broke down with a steering fault two days after purchase. The nearest Evans Halshaw then stated two tyres were badly worn and third tyre had an unsafe puncture repair and that Evans Halshaw East Kilbride would replace it. After numerous calls, several emails and several messages using their complaint service resolver they are not admitting fault and are being dishonest about what has occurred. Do not trust their pre car sale checks and do not trust their after sales care. They are dishonest and will do anything in order to not admit fault or rectify any issues you have with your vehicle after sale.
