Car not ready for sale
Bought second hand ford focus.
On driving home appeared to be vibration and knocking from front
Dealer diagnosed issue with steering column which accounted for knocking. This was replaced. Assured that vibration would also be this.
Vibration still apparent and returned to dealer. It was merely the tyres had not been balanced.
Noticed smell of damp which was highlighted at sale but despite garage cleaning then 'odour bombing' it the smell returned.
The blower also did not work which was repaired but oddly the smell remains.
Overall the repairs department fixed all issues though one at a time and failed to eliminate the odour. All issues which were resolved were speedily done without any quibble.
As for sales. This car was with the company for some time. It sems incredulous to believe that they were unaware of the knocking, the vibration, the lack of a heater and last but not least the underlying damp smell.
It seemed as though sales were content to sell a car which was not ready in the knowledge that repairs would sort out the problems from their budget.
Overall unprofessional impression given.
Rating is very much an average for the whole garage.
Did try to send feedback direct but their feedback link appears to only last a month.

Blatant lie
I bought used car 3 months ago. Whilst initially happy with the purchase, I'm am annoyed that I wasn't told the truth about the high clutch. I was told that the high clutch was just how the Aygo was made. Recently, I popped into my local garage, to be told that the high clutch problem, is because the clutch is needing replaced, nothing to do with that particular car. So, in other words, a blatant lie. Feeling very disappointed 😔
