Avoid Wakefield Branch
Tha Wakefield branch should be avoided like the plague. The vehicle bought had serious defects. They perported to fix it without success. The sales manager was abusive & bullying and wanted to charge over £1000 for swapping ifor an equivalent vehicle. The customer agreed pay extra just to get a usable car. Video exidence was not enough!

I am sorry to hear you haven’t had a positive expereince.
After liaising with the leadership team at the dealership in Wakefield, it’s our understanding that after you took your vehicle in to the dealership, one of our service advisors and technicians test drove the vehicle and couldn’t fault it, this was then plugged into the diagnostic machine however there was no error codes or mechanical faults found.
As it was advised, the dealership did everything they can to change you in to an alternative vehicle, however as you stated, this was at a charge due to the current market value being lower than the purchase price
As a goodwill gesture this £1000 charge was then lowered.

Worst service ever
Cooling system and rear wiper are not working, so left our car in Wakefield Peugeot garage whole day. Nothing fixed and said Leeds branch would call us. No contact at all from Evans Halshaw since then. Worst service ever.

Liz on reception was lovely and helpful. I’d came for a service. Priced up the issues for my car OTT. Some things are simple issues that can be done chepaer and others don’t need doing like spark plugs when it’s only done 30k mileage. Any way. Biggest issue is I’ve found a scratch on my steering wheel that wasn’t there before.

I purchased the e208 from Evans Halshaw Peugeot at Chantry Bridge, Wakefield. I initially ordered the car at the end of March 2022 and it was due for delivery to the UK in the first week in April. Unfortunately due to unforeseen issues at French customs, there was a lengthy delay of around 6 weeks (the end of May) whilst it (along with other vehicles) were eventually released. Jack and Steve at Evans Halshaw kept me updated with where the car was and once in the UK it was swiftly called off to the dealership. Handover was quick on the day and I am thoroughly happy with the car, which looks stunning in Faro Yellow. This is my first Peugeot experience and also my first electric car and I am very happy with both so far..
