From initial contact to finished installation we were impressed by the way the work was carried out and the attitude of the staff we met.
We would be very happy to recommend the company to friends and family.
Evoenergy gave me an estimate over the phone. This gives me an idea on the cost to help down select, unlike most of the other company I contacted, refuse to give me any estimate prior to the survey. After the survey, the quote is as the estimate. They did not try to sell me extra, but all available on request.
The installation was efficient, take 1/2 day to get the scaffolding up and then 1 day to have my 14 panels installation completed. the work was tidy and cleaned the area after the work. They also help to go through the paper work for the FIT. Overall very good experience and will definitely recommend them. obviously, need a bit time to see if all the installation will last and get the benefit as estimate.
A very good experience for the initial enquiries through installation to the final paperwork. Would recommend to others. The PV installation is working well.
Having sat through two presentations from other PV panel installers, one of which was more like a timeshare sales pitch, EvoEnergy were like a breath of fresh air. The sales consultant that visited quickly assessed our level of knowledge and didn't waste time going through tedious prepared sales patter. He answered all our queries well and the follow-up proposal letter, combined with a brief telephone conversation, contained all necessary information for us to make an informed decision.
The scaffolders arrived at the appointed hour and had the job completed in about three hours, even though everything had to be carried to the rear of our property. The following day the installers arrived on time, and the outside team and the electrician worked efficiently and cleanly. The electrician went through the registration process with me, filling out as much as possible of the FiT application form and ensuring I would fill in the missing parts once the required information became available. The scaffolding came down and again the site was left clean and tidy. The required certificates were either emailed or posted in a timely manner.
Excellent service provided by knowledgeable people at all stages of the project. I have already recommended the company to other interested parties.
The fitters arrived on time and did a good job. There was a slight problem with the optimmersion system which they had to come back and fix. We didn't realise how much kit needed installing inside the house which although neatly fitted is unsightly. Evoenergy provided no help with filling in the FIT forms.
The planning of the installation was very professionally done, my input was accepted and in fact tested as beneficial to the power output. The timing of some of the actual activities was not as planned, including one critical installer who went sick on the first day, all recovered well despite having to re-install the inverter from loft to garage. The main installing engineer, n the second day when he returned to work, was very personable and informative. A few tiles on one of the roofs were damaged and had to be replaced by lead sheet, not entirely happy with that, but again a minor issue. The installation looks good, appears to be working as planned. I am tracking the efficiency of the output against the plan provided. That will take some time.
The fitters worked as an excellent team . That were very polite neat and tidy , very pleased with end result.

Good service all round right from the word go. I had a survey done 2 years ago but didn't go ahead at that time. They still had my survey and pictures so it went through quickly. Installation was on time and well done. All in all a good experience and would not hesitate to recommend Evo.
Nice company to do business with, very efficient from initial enquiry through survey to installation. Would I recommend to friends and family ... certainly without hesitation.
The insulation was very quick and the workmen were very good. The young man who went through the paperwork with us took his time and made sure we understood everything. EvoEnergy were very profesional and went out of their way to be helpful.
The only downside was how long the scaffolding was upTook about 10 days before that happened
EvoEnergy supplied me with the high-quality panels that I wanted, at a competitive price. The pre-sales team answered all of my questions effectively, and the installation team accommodated the fact that the work needed to fit around a major extension/renovation project. The PV system has been working well so far, and I'm very pleased with the outcome.
I have been very satisfied with my experience of Ovo energy so far.
It is easy to put reading in on-line and this way I get an accurate bill each month. The tariffs are comparable and I am saving money over my last supplier.
The telephone help-line is based in England and is staffed with pleasant and helpful people, who want to sort out any problems you have.

I contacted several Solar PV installation companies, and went with Evo Energy in the end because they were the most responsive. Their solution was similar in price to the others so I took what was initially a leap of faith.
Evo always did what they said they would do, turned up on time, completed the work within the estimated time and there were no problems at all.
Very pleased!
Recommended by a friend and I can see why. Impressed by their level of service as well as costs - no hard sell! Follow up has been good so far. (However, it would be useful if their initial surveys of roofs were more thorough. They checked the strength of beams but not the overall state of the roof. Luckily the chap who did the final check was able to warn us about the state of our tiles, underfelt and woodwork, with the result that the panels had to come off and the roof repaired! Panels now restored...)
Have waited a while to see if all issues were sorted out but now run out of patience.
Things started well. A helpful free survey and quote. I was told installations were usually 2 to 3 weeks. . Paid my deposit immediately when sent the invoice in the post. Then the assigned project manager went on paternity leave. No one contacted me and I had to keep ringing to get progress. The salesman/ surveyor then rang back with new questions after each chase call. Invertor was then resited and finally install date offered for week 4 when on holiday..a known date. Not helpful.
Install date finally agreed. A Monday..The friday before it was cancelled due to 'scaffolding not available'.
New date agreed . Install team arrived on time and were well presented ,friendly and helpful.
Electrician then advised the invertor relocation wasn't any good and put it in the garage so the delays from the engineering team were not needed .
Then one of the roofers dropped a plank from roof height onto the conservatory causing a piece to come off. (Which was pushed back but now drips water onto the wood floor) and put a hole in the outer skin of the perspex roof.
Work was finished on time . Gutterings cleared but conservatory left covered in bits and a difficult to get at gully with bits of tile etc.
3 days later we discovered the freezer in the garage had defrosted. The electrician had left the circuit switched off... Evo compensated me for this.
Then I received the certificate that has to be sent off to obtain the tarrif money. The system size on the certificate was wrong so had to request a new one. Why couldn't they get it right.
A month later started to get error messages on the Optimmersion saying Solar PV inverted when it wasn't and the internet readings were clearly all wrong. The reading issues were sorted by the Optimmersion manufacturer after a week or so and although they had no idea about the PV message it hasn't reappeared.
The solar install itself went well especially as it was difficult (seems my roof tiles were all glued down) and other than the temporary issue for a week with readings the system itself seems to be working well. Shame not much sun at the moment.
Just wish the conservatory was sorted especially as Evo admitted it was them and promised to resolve.Emails and phone calls to their customer service manager are just ignored. Now thinking about getting whole roof replaced and just want some compensation... Helpful to have lawyers in the family so that's the next option.

Evoenergy were the only company who quoted for our installation in whom I had any confidence, They proved to be very efficient and completed the installation in less than a day, leaving no mess.
I wpuld wholehartedly recommend them.
Evo energy dealt professionally with my enquiry, discussed options that best suited my requirements, detailed site survey and quotation explaining forecast outputs, tariffs and panel options. Installation team very efficient, impressed with speed & quality of work on site and help completing FIT application. Well done everyone involved in my installation.
What can I say from surveyor to installation team - brilliant! More than happy with all aspects of EvoEnergy, polite, efficient, supportive and a superb after sales service.
I would recommend this organisation to any prospective customers.
Just keep up the good work.
I first started looking into installing Solar PV panels on my house over 5 years ago, but at that time the systems were very expensive and the payback time was anything between 12 to 15 years.
With the passing of time, PV systems have become more affordable and the payback time has shortened considerably. So a few months ago, I began looking at Solar PV Installers and Systems again and after getting quotes from a couple of companies, I contacted EVO Energy.
The staff at EVO Energy were efficient and courteous and answered all my questions satisfactorily. EVO are not the cheapest, but I felt comfortable dealing with them. So I chose a system and and waited for Installation Day, prior to which, the scaffolding was erected a couple of days before.
Installation day arrived on 12th September '14 and the PV system and Optimmersion Hot water system was installed on that day. There were a couple of issues with the Optimmersion which were resolved quickly. The PV system has performed well from day one, only being affected by the weather.
All in all, I am very happy with the service I have received from EVO Energy and would recommend them to anyone.
The only company that gave us a choice of different panels. The only company to take into account our neighbours chimneys, so proper professional advise rather than just selling panels. From then on decisions were easy. Installation trouble free. Paperwork arrived promptly. All good!
