I am so glad I met Aneka, She is an absolutely brilliant instructor and person and a lovely human being. She brought my confidence back , such a good listener, so friendly . I couldn't have done without her guidance and patience. Passed with 0 faults in 1st attempt with her. You are so lucky if you got her as your instructor. Good luck !!

Andy is and was a top driving instructor for me and very easy to get on well and was very helpful. He helped me get through my test 1st time with under 20 hours of experience. He was good at always doing something in the lessons and not delaying and great value .Was always on time and responsive when I needed to ramp up my lessons to lead to test week. I would 100% recommend Andy as an instructor he is amazing and he’s also a top top bloke.

Thank you Richard for being very responsible instructor and also the boss of Excel. I was let down just 3 days before my test. Brilliantly he had arranged me with Natalie- an amazing instructor who had helped me to pass the test finally. Thank you so much Richard and Natalie.

Natalie was an amazing instructor, she believed in me from the get go,She helped me gain confidence and supported me through my entire driving journey,She’s so kind and patient,I couldn’t of passed first time without her!

So after just over a year with Aiden today I have finally passed my test and it’s all done to how well Aiden has been with me. When I started I was so nervous and uncomfortable and now I have no worries , couldn’t recommend him enough, methods are brilliant and so so helpful!

Passed with only 2 driver faults.

I trained as a driving instructor with Excel and it was absolutely the best decision I made.
My current job and situation at the time meant I wasn't able to do an intensive style training course and I had to make sure the training would fit around everything else. Rich at Excel ensured me that this would be no problem at all and would make sure everything worked. And he did!
Right from the start, and throughout my whole ADI journey, both the training and level of support has been incredible.
The training, which was first class, was delivered by Ray from Excel. All dates were scheduled in to meet my needs and he always pushed me in my thinking and development of my skills.
From day 1, Rich always kept in touch, checking on progress and was there whenever needed either via a phone call or in person and always dealt with any issue. For my 3rd exam, Rich made sure I had pupils so I could practice and also sat in with me giving additional help and guidance.
The end result - I am now a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor passing all 3 driving instructor exams on the first attempt!!
I am also proud to say that I am now part of the Excel Driver Training Team delivering high quality driving lessons producing safe drivers of the future.
A sincere thanks to Excel as I couldn't have done this without the support you gave.

I had Aiden as an instructor and I really enjoyed my lessons with him as we could have a laugh and he made me feel comfortable. He made me get so much more confident at driving around places i didn’t like and really pushed me. Thanks for all your help!

I first booked Matt for my very shy unconfident Nephew for his 17th birthday based on word of mouth and praise from others. It truly was the best thing I could have done. Matt is so nice to deal with, has a lovely character, communication is easy and efficient, approachable and made my nephew feel very at ease and comfortable. My nephew enjoyed and looked forward to his weekly lesson and enjoyed Matts teaching and character. He teaches to your pace and identifies to work on and practice the areas required for improvement with you. My nephew started with Matt in the April with 1 lesson per week and passed 1st time in the October with flying colours. Not only are we appreciative of that, as he his extremely good at what he does, BUT the whole experience which Matt made comfortable and enjoyable for my nephew . If you’re looking for a nice, down to earth, friendly good driving instructor who teaches well. Matt is your man!

I had Aneka as a instructor. I was so glad when she told me that I was her first student passing the driving test with zero fault.
As English is my second language, I had doubts whether my instructor can explain/teach me clearly. Having her as instructor, I didn't had any issues. She is very friendly, confident and the way she explains is second to none. I would definitely recommend her.
And wish you good luck if your driving test is coming soon.

I had Aneka, what a BRILLIANT driving instructor she is! She’s patient, always calm, alway’s helps when needed with understanding the roads&your car, funny, kind, brilliant time keeping, basically over all AMAZING! Never fails to make sure every lesson is enjoyable but she alway’s make sure you understand before moving onto the next bit of driving and is always down to earth with you regarding what needs to be improved and what is good. Will recommend Aneka to anyone who wants to learn automatic driving.

Can’t thank you enough Richard for supporting Gracie in passing her driving test. Gracie has enjoyed her lessons and you’ve been her rock throughout her journey. Not only have you kept her safe on the road, you’ve built her confidence up too. Thank you - you are a 😇

matt is an amazing driving instructor. always has chill lessons and teaches at a pace which is comfortable for the learner. matt got me a pass with 0 driver faults. best instructor ever!!!

Had Aneka as my driving instructor. Had a brilliant learning experience with Aneka’s massive amounts of kindness and patience. Really made me feel at ease while driving and made learning that bit easier. Managed to pass first time thanks to Aneka’s affective teaching methods.

I struggled to find an instructor who could push me out of my comfort zone and help me progress quickly until i found Richard. He helped me improve on the skills i had already learnt and taught me everything i needed in order not only to pass but to become a competent driver. I can happily recommend Richard as an ex student of his. He always did the most to make me feel comfortable but also challenged me (like with a motorway lesson!) Thanks Richard!

Matt is an incredible instructor he is very patient (I had driving lessons for two years 🙈) and is amazing with dealing with anxiety.He creates a comfortable environment which allows you to joke around and feel at ease. I was so scared to drive however he reassured me and was able to make me feel confident to drive independently.

Matt was a great instructor, I was quite fearful of driving initially and he was an amazing at building my confidence and teaching me how to drive. Very organised with reflections and knowing exactly what weak spots you need to work on
