dreadful customer service and delivery
Having ordered a leather kit in January, i have been chasing my delivery for what seems like ever. Promised for early April never arrived. Told i was "on the production line and to expect with 2 weeks". Just spoke again and now "on the production line for mid May". I have no idea if they provide a good product as yet to receive but as for customer service, good luck if you want anything in a hurry. Very disappointed that now they have my money they can simply take their time and i have to wait. No emails to explain or apologies for delays. It is upto you to chase as there is no communication

bad experience
i advise any one who wants their products to email or phone ahead as most products are out of stock. stock is not displayed. they are happy to take your money though, they take days to reply to emails.VERY POOR management for seemingly good products. individual/ private buyers ARE NOT THEIR PRIORITY.
NO LEAD TIME EVER GIVEN FOR OUT OF STOCK ITEMS RESTOCKING TIME! but their happy to keep monies paid for out of stock items....indefinitely.
you'll have to email and maybe call to get tracking items, if you're lucky and the item you bought is in stock.

Faulty canvas hood
I bought a canvas hood for my series IIA Landy which arrived shortly afterward, well packaged and of good quality. All was so far so good but unfortunately when I fitted the hood I found that the rear flap side straps didn’t line up with the side pockets by about 2 inches.
I contacted Exmoor trim who listened to my problem and were extremely polite and attentive. They rightly asked me to send them some pictures of the hood in position and of the problem, after which they apologised for the faulty rear flap, sent me another hood and collected the faulty one a few days later.
All’s well that ends well, thank you Exmoor Trim, excellent customer service. Faults happen, that’s life, it’s the way that they are resolved that’s important.

Excellent service and delivery. I ordered a seat cushion it arrived and Exmoor trim delivered it to my house, excatly as promised and great quality. I can't wait to visit the shop when it opens
Terrible service
Terrible service, I feel I was teken out of the market by Exmoor Trim for taking an order they had no idea when they could fulfill. 82 days between order and partial delivery then the final and probably most important part is still outstanding

Horrendous postage costs for a small item.
Wanted to buy 6 small trim clips to fit new seat foam to my Defender 90. The cost is below £2......the postage is nearly £4.50. How can that be ??? Phoned the office who wouldn't give any flexibility. Sorry, but you've lost a customer on this occasion. That is a ripoff!!

Utterly appalling customer service
Utterly appalling customer service. I ordered a PVC hood for my Defender in June - it is now October and still no delivery and perhaps worse no proactive communication. I have to chase for information and have just been told that it will be 'at least' another 14 weeks due to a mythical world shortage of PVC. Totally unacceptable performance. Company Directors need to get a grip of customer relations

The kit arrived on time
The kit arrived on time, with no problems. The instructions were clear and the product was excellent. It doe take a bit of effort to make sure it goes on properly, but then it should do. The original covers were 20 years old and looked it. These new covers look amazing and I'm sure will last 20 years from here on in.
So its the rear seats next.

Ordered an r380 carpet kit clearly states on website the carpets are laminated,I spoke to one of the staff Alex and I explained to him the carpets I received aren’t laminated, he replied arrr yes, I don’t think we have updated the website, the Carpets they supply now are water absorbing acoustic backed, not really fit for purpose in a defender as we all know how bad Defenders leak!
The old ones they used to sell where perfect “laminated backed” which I have ordered in the past with no complaints, the quality of the new ones are to say the least an absolute joke, they are bending up in the air, I have a bulge on the heal pad, and the gear box tunnel seems to be miss Stitched. They took several weeks to arrive and I wish I had gone elsewhere, the lady on reception didn’t know what laminated was either I also found her arrogant and unhelpful, Alex in the trim shop said he would speak to the line manager and contact me the next day, I waited and waited, in the end I called them!
Still no joy, another weekend gone, I have some bad quality mis sold Carpets I don’t want to fit as clearly an acoustic backed carpet that will absorb water Is not really fit for purpose! And will eventually rot out the footwell.
Sorry for the rant but, you used to sell good quality products these carpets are truly terrible!

If the item is listed with its own price then why can’t I buy that item for that price????
Reluctantly bought “the kit” and then had to wait 8 weeks for delivery.

Poor business practice
1. Goods ordered 2nd June, received 10th Aug. If I had known it was a 10 week delivery I wouldn’t have ordered.
2. I cancelled part of my original order but was told I couldn’t have a credit until dispatch. You had my £60 for 10 weeks for nothing.
3. Part of the order was incorrect so I had to pay for the replacement until you received the incorrectly delivered item.
4. I ordered a cloth re trim kit for my Defender which has 3 front seats. You don’t supply the fixings for the middle seat - I offered to pay extra but the answer was no.
5. You don’t supply the adhesive for the seat trims. If you did, folk would get the right product and you would get the margin.
6. I called your business many times and was diverted to a voice mail which was too full to take any further messages.
On the plus side:
The product quality is good.
Your sales office manager, Sandy Purcell was extremely helpful in sorting out the issues.
So overall it’s a poor rating for late delivery on a 3 week order and a number if niggles made worse by constantly being bombarded by advertising e-mails whilst your not performing.

Superb Quality!
