AVOID.

I've been trying to get a refund for a cancelled order for days, I cancelled because I got fed up with waiting for my order to be dispatched. I have today written to my bank to try and get my money back using 'Chargeback', I also telephoned 'Action Fraud' the government agency that work with the police. I gave them all the details I could regarding the problem I have been having with Extak. I am now waiting to see what they come up with.

May be a good supplier but phone system is poor

Hiya - I called today to place an order as I didnt have access to my PC. Your auto attendant told me I was 1st in the queue then it seemed to try to put me through to someones extension - it then told me voicemail wasnt working. Just wanted to let you know so that you dont lose business :-) I would probably have bought it elsewhere simply because I couldnt get through on phone

Truly awful

Still awaiting for it to be dispatched...3 weeks after ordering it! No response to emails and they dont answer the phone. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

Can't get refund!! Avoid!!,

After not receiving my items I called to be told it would arrive by end of the week, another week and my order had been cancelled due to no stock despite still selling item on website!! Was never told was cancelled, I had to find this out for myself. Was told a refund would be given within 5 days, one week on and still no refund. Told another 3-5 days at latest. Now another 10 days on, no refund and no way of contacting them! Now just read story in guardian about them so having to gain refund through visa! AVOID at all costs!!

Poorest service I have ever received

Place order for printer which they said was in stock i also phone to check stock told they had 4 in stock. So far no printer unable to get through on phone auto attendant answers calls then put you though to a mail box that is full. No answers to emails and reading reports on trust pilot and amount of feed back under investigation expect this to be blanked out saying being investigated.

Fraudulent company - they take money one day, out of stock next, then don't answer queries

Goods in stock, ordered and paid for on 19 September....then I get an 'out of stock' within 24 hours. I tried e-mailing Extak - no response. Then I tried phoning, and got put through to a recorded message which said 'please leave us a message'...but their voicemail was full (presumably of other customers complaining), and unable to accept further messages. I've now raised a dispute on this transaction with my Credit Card provider, so that I get my money back that way. How do companies like this survive? Shocking!

Worst service I have ever received

I ordered this item 15 days ago - it was only when I rang up that stock was assigned.
I was promised my goods would arrive tomorrow, but it's not even been dispatched.
Shocking - should have gone to Amazon like I usually do

Slow despatch and rubbish customer response

One week after ordering, still no sign of despatch, and calls to them result in ear-splitting rubbish music followed by a glib message that someone will answer as quickly as possible, then a message saying I'm No. 1 in the queue, then a message saying the mailbox I'm calling is full and can't accept more messages. If the goods ever arrive, or they ever answer the phone, it will be the last time I use this outfit.

TV on time and in full working order

Ordered paid given a proposed delivery date and turned up on time and in good order. The box looked like it had done 10 rounds with Tyson!! but the TV was well protected and this would have been UPS problem.
Would deal with Extak again could not find this YV cheaper anywhere else.

No goods, no refund, AVOID.

Following an easy order, I waited for a delivery that never arrived. After chasing to see the whereabouts of my order I was informed that the product was out of stock and not available due to problems with the manufacturer. I have subsequently discovered that this doesn't seem to be a problem elswhere...
I was offered a refund which I immediately agreed to but that didn;t arrive either. Despite several emails and now written letters I have still not been refunded. looks like I will reluctantly have to go legal.

Shockingingly bad!

I am very disappointed with the service from Extak! I ordered my product on the 12th of September for my daughter's birthday on the 20th of September. I got an email to say it would be delivered by UPS within 3-5 working days. On the 19th of September I called to say that I had not received the product. I was then told that I would not receive it before the 20th but that it would be delieverd sometime by the 23rd of September. This was upsetting as it was an important gift. About an hour after the phone call where I had been assured it was still on its way, I got an email to tell me the product was out of stock and I wouldn't be recieving it. Why was I not told this when I first ordered it, or on the phone when I had contacted Extak to find out where the parcel was??? I then could have made alternative plans for my daughter's birthday present.

Took money. Item out of stock. STILL NO REFUND!!!!!

Took money 31st August 2013. It's now 19th September - NO REFUND.

Item bought 31st August. They took money off my account. Email stated I'd have item in 2-3 days.

I contacted them twice in the next couple of weeks using their online form saying to give me money back or have item to me by Friday 13th August. Really desperate for my part to get PC working as its vital to me.

They email me Friday 13th August saying items out of stock and do I want something different or refunded.

The item is STILL SHOWING on their site as in stock at this point!!!

I replied saying I'd already contacted twice and give me refund or I'd contact credit card company.

It's now 19th September. Still no refund. Nor any reply from them. I emailed again today.

AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Wish I had looked on here before. Looks like I'm not the only one they've robbed!!

Thank goodness I used my credit card and should get full refund that way!!

I don't normally leave reviews but felt I had a duty to warn folk about them!!!
