They can find problems with your car that didn't exist before.

I think this is the same outfit that repairs clown cars.
I was told my wheels need aligning and pointed out to them they had done just that 6 weeks ago. They responded, grimly, that potholes and speed bumps can cause the tracking to go off. I know how my wife & I drive, carefully, and neither of these two events would have caused the damage they suggested so I asked what was the point in a service that lasted, potentially a week at best?
That a mechanic tells me that my driving caused the damage rather irritated me and I wonder if there work was substandard then or unnecessary now.
They also failed to identify the correct oil my car requires, causing a delay of two hours in collecting it as 'specialist' oil had to be ordered.
They did not manage to call me to say there would be a three hour delay as they had only identified the incorrect oil had been delivered an hour after it was originally supposed to be finished.
If your car was built after 1972, you may want to go to a garage where the mechanics have been trained to service and repair your 'modern' vehicle.
It's probably just a coincidence, but my wife took the car in for the MOT and service.
Not happy at all.

Pleasant experience

They are fair enough to explain MOT problems and service requirements. Managed to complete the work in the day despite having to order parts including 4tyres. Price seemed fair. Also gave clear guidance and advice on related actions.

Unprofessional and Rude Staff

Took my car for a replacement indicator bulb, their technician cracked the light casing whilst attempting to replace the bulb, then refused to pay for the replacement. Completely unprofessional and rude staff, that cost me over £100 to repair the damage caused by their negligence.
