Booked for 1.30pm appointment to change 2 tyres at the Poole depot, arrived 15 mins early as requested, told it would be 45mins despite only 2 cars in workshop? Then Whilst sat in waiting room, all the staff went on a lunch break!!! Resulting in an hour and 20 minute wait for a simple tyre change and balance (which took 20mins) Maybe appointments should be blanked out for staff to have lunch and not keep customers waiting in a room with NO entertainment and a dead fish tank. Far from impressed, recommend paying a little bit extra to get work done elsewhere.

Incompetant rip off merchants scratch your wheels when repairing puncture and if they can they will say you need a new tyre even though it can be repaired not mecanics and on the make with poor customer service

Excellent service at great price.
Nothing was too much trouble on a difficult repair
I was kept informed throughout by the Dep manager in the Poole branch.
What can I say? Thank you guys for checking my exhaust today, explaining everything, doing a repair job and not charging me. Just great service. Thoroughly recommend them. Mike
Absolutely Brilliant service from Formula One Autocentre in Poole today. We were a bit stressed from our journey back to Cornwall as AA breakdown just put on a new tyre the night before due to us hitting a pot hole badly. They didn’t balance the tyre correctly so caused our steering wheel to shake. We only had today ‘Sunday’ to get it sorted before our drive home. This centre sorted the balancing fully out for us no problem at all and we then had a nice smooth journey back home . Thank you very much 👌👍🏻

I have recently purchased 4 new tyres (through Asda tyres) and chose to have them fitted at your Poole branch. My car has been back 3 times since the tyres have been fitted as 3 of them keep going flat after a couple of days. I was first told it was 2 faulty valves and 1 needed resealing. It then went back again to then be told they have all been cleaned up and rebeaded/resealed. After the 3rd time they have said there is nothing they can do and that the wheels need to be refurbished. Considering my car has been in to the same garage 4 times, I am extremely disappointed that this wasn’t pointed out from the beginning.

I went in for tyres, and the team at Formula 1 Autocentre were friendly, helpful, and made the whole process easy. Really appreciated how they handled everything and made me feel at ease.
F1 Poole DORSET branch
After wasting travelling there and being told that "fix my car "
Local GARAGES Quoted £104 for 2 sets of front pads and sensors thought finally found a honest garage but then came the arrival friendly after ringing 2 days before to book!
Then the side line we have to ring someone to ask about price when already quoted on line with snap shot to prove and then being told forget fix my car it's rubbish!
New Quote from mysterious call wait for it "£218" more than doubled in 2mins.
Now the point is don't mind paying a little over £150 but not double! 2 discs 15mins per side wheels off 40mins tops labour
Pads inc sensors £60 at a push trade prices
Sorry can do them my self for £70 all in 1hr my own free labour
Think of it like this being woken up half way through an operation to be told it's going to cost Double

I bought the tyres from Formula One Autos because they offered a free health check.
Absolutely no evidence of free summer health check having been carried out when I picked the car up.
I asked the desk manager if the car had passed the check and he said it had.

Took my BMW 520 in to have a problem diagnosed. Was told the auxiliary belt and tensioner needed replacing as it worn and causing the noise I could hear. I booked it in and dropped it off on the Saturday and after 3 hours was called to say car was done. On collection the car was still making the same noise. I questioned it and was told that a roller should have also been done but they would need to re order it. On the second visit to have the roller done I went to collect the car and the car was still making the noise!! So now I’m £250 in to a job that clearly did not need doing!
The area manager was on site and informed me that the noise that was present was due to it being a high mileage diesel engine and that it was NOTHING to worry about. I was told that they would refund 50% (for a job that clearly didn’t need doing) I have since had some more work done elsewhere and they have diagnosed the noise as a faulty Dual Mass Flywheel that should have been addressed straight away.
I have used Formula one in Poole for years. They used to have such a good team of mechanics there but now it appears they are short staffed and seriously under skilled.

I ordered two tyres on line, got to the appointment 15minutes early as they request, handed over my keys. Oh well we are running late by about an hour so I suggested I go with my car for a coffee and meet my wife and coming back, no leave your car here it will be 45mins.
So I walk over to a cafe a couple of doors away where I can see my car, after an hour my car hasn’t moved so I walked over and said, come to pick my car up.
Answer: we will do it next, so I suggest they buy me a coffee which they did, another hour later a work man walks over could I come back to the garage. Sorry we don’t have tyres that size, after being there 2.15 hours waiting, we will try and fit you in later we will ring you, no phone call, so I phoned them could I leave it a couple of days they replied, No I said I have a puncture hence new tyres and out Saturday night.
Well they were fitted Saturday afternoon!!!!
Shouldn’t someone check that the tyres are in stock as soon as they are handed the keys as this becomes a job!

I would avoid this garage at all costs but if you do make sure you book online - Could be Cheaper.
Wouldn't recommend. Poor customer service. I've used Formula One a couple of times now but recently had Service and MOT. Service was done and required a couple of jobs which I agreed. MOT was completed with a couple of advisories which I agreed to be fixed by them as they had the car. However, as part of the MOT I am not sure that the seatbelts were checked as the seats were purposely left unclipped and things left to check other work was completed. I am sure that they would lose their MOT status if checked.
There was also a requirement for new tyres which I was aware of before going in for the service but they said they would have to order. They said that they could get them in for the next day but I couldn't make it so arranged for the following day and said I would be there first thing. When I arrived I was first in the shop and told them why I was there and my registration number. The 'manager' checked on the system and could not find the details on their system. I explained that I had been in a couple of days before and the tyres had been ordered as agreed. He could find nothing on the system and said that they had Not been ordered. I told him that I was unhappy and ended up just leaving and went elsewhere.
I have heard from a lot of their disgruntled customers who have been also been ripped off by hundreds of pounds as well as the poor service.
Rude, poor customer service and care. Will not be going back!
I hope that this review was helpful to other customers.

Johnny is an absolute legend, saved me money and went above and behind. Highly recommended.
I got a quote of £342 for brake discs and pads for fixmycar.com and two days later I had a phone call to say it will be more and he says bring the car down and we will check all the brakes.
I took my car in and they started doing the work before giving me a price and when I questions how much it would be he first said £560 which he reduced down to £495 when I questioned him about it and I still think that I paid to much and starting the job before giving me a price, but you live and learn and my brakes are done but feel ripped off

Great service - polite, helpful & easy to deal with. No BS, just honest advice & great service.
Took my car for brake check I was told all brake pads and discs needed replacing to the sum of £785, today I took my car to another garage and had just my front brakes pads replaced to the sum of £130. I have heard from a lot of their disgruntled customers who have been also been ripped off by hundreds of pounds.

As I have always found with this particular garage in Poole the manager is always extremely polite and extremely helpful I cannot fault there efficiency and helpfulness. Mr S Bardsley
If I could give zero stars that would be too many. Absolutely no customer services skills, technicians damaged my car alloys and saying its kerb damage. Do not use this company.
