Absolutely no organisation or communication . Dropped wheels off the evening before booking. Went the next day 4 hours after appointment time to collect and the tyres had not been fitted. No apology was given. Tyre fitted but was not balanced. Finally completed the job, still no apology. This the second time in a row this has happened. I have always used this place with no problem. Since the previous manager has left the place has gone down hill. I will not be returning

booked a service by telephone all confirmed date ect asked for 2 tyres to be done at same time was told to book tyres online did this a week before my service date only to turn up on the day to be told the service was not recorded in diary and the tyres have not arrived very poor service from the whole team

Ordered tyres on Internet, booked the date and time that suited me. The tyres were very reasonably priced but don't know why they would over inflate them.

Reason for downgrade, the issue that occured when leaving the review of 6/7/23 was due to having my service carried out there then taking my car for an mot at another company the day after (because F1 didn't have an mot slot).
F1 hadn't reported any issues with extent of ware of break pads, however the mot identified differently. On the review of 6/7/23 I gave them the benefit of the doubt. 18 months later I have changed my car and have a very similar experience which is currently under investigation. I will submit a separate review on the latest experience after the investigation is complete.

Rating of 6/7/23 downgraded from 5* to 1* on 20/1/25 because of my latest visit on 3/1/25.

I have been using this branch of F1 regularly for repair, servicing and mot of both my and my wife's cars for around 15 years.
The standard of service has been excellent on most of our visits.
I'm sure we all have a bad day from time to time and when a company has an off day I believe the way they should be judged is on the actions they take to make good.
I recently had one such event at this branch on 6 July 23.
Having contacted their customer services after the event, their regional manager contacted me, and after a couple of emails he telephoned to talk through the issue so he could fully understand what happened.
He advised that the service experienced was below his expectation.
I had the impression he was really concerned about the event and wanted to get to the bottom of it.

The outcome was what I regard as a generous offer for additional work which I gladly accepted.

I have since returned to this brach (11 August 23) for further work to be carried out, which I am pleased to say was carried out to the good standard I normally recieve.

After previously using F1 auto centre I decided to have my front two SSR Continental tyres replaced as they were on the legal limit, this time the workmanship was below their usual standard, the person that carried out the works was not very experienced and subsequently lifted my Mercedes car with the near rear arm not positioned correctly under the lifting Jack position, this meant the arm was resting against my car bodywork, thankfully there appeared to be no damage caused, more luck than judgement tho, also they had problems getting the front near side wheel off, they had to repeatedly use a hammer/mallet to release the wheel from the hub. Given the experience on this occasion then I don’t think that I’ll be using F1 auto centre in the future

Visited F1 Autocentres Poole today to get a slow puncture repaired. Shaun the Manager and all his staff were very polite and professional and they managed to look at the problem quickly while I waited. Would recommend, thanks for being so helpful.

Well they must be doing something right because for nearly the past 20 years Formula One has always been my first choice when it comes to fast fit services. Prices are always competitive and never had any issues with pricing disputes or upselling. The staff are friendly, trustworthy and wherever possible, accommodating. The price promise worked well too with minimum fuss.

I would have given this autocentre a 5 star review, had it not been let down by the state of the filthy toilet (No liquid soap dispenser, just a dirty bar of soap) and a slightly untidy waiting room with uncomfortable seats. I hope this can be rectified before my next visit.

Bought tyres and exhaust's from F1 over the last 2 years, always best price and then followed up with good service. The guys are always pleasant and trustworthy.

Excellent service. No trying to “upsell” products or services. Considerate questions asked about the use of my car before advising what work actually needed doing and what was instead advisory at this time. This has been my experience at the Poole site for several years now; not just a one-off experience. I feel they want me as a happy long term customer, not just a quick sale. Thank you!

What made my experience great!? It has to be the people who work at the Formula One Autocentre in Fleetsbridge, Poole, Dorset.

Every visit there, I am made to feel like an extremely valued customer, unlike any other shop that I shop in, in Poole. They blow the others out of the water.

If you are looking for anything that is car related, you must make this Auto Centre your first choice!

Polite, helpful service, respectful. As a woman with no mechanical knowledge beyond checking the oil level, going to a garage can feel quite intimidating. I am glad to have found somewhere where this is completely eased by the attitudes of all staff, so I always go to F1 now. This has been my experience on every visit, and from all the staff members I have encountered.

Quick and friendly service, the guys here are great and don't make you feel like an inferior woman even when you're a damsel in distress!!!!

Went to Poole branch this weekend for help with a low coolant warning. Very helpful and friendly service.

More formulae 3 than 1 . An hour to change 2 tyres is not great . Not helped when you can see the car jacked up and nobody on it for 20 mins . He reappears like magic when you complain

Sorry mate, the gassing machine is down & don't know when it will be fixed; not only that we have 6 others waiting, so don't know. We can give you a refund which you will get in 2-3 days.

I am self employed and do in excess of 35000 miles per year. I have been using F1 in Poole for several years now and cannot speak highly enough of their level of service. They know how important my car is to me and do everything they can to keep me on the road with minimal inconvenience to me. Just recently they didn't have a specialist piece of equipment for a particular repair but contacted several local garages until they located it, borrowed it and carried out the repair. Brilliant!
