I contacted F1AC Sittingbourne yesterday as I noticed a squeaking noise in my A4. They offered me to come in the next morning at 10 to get it looked at, I explained that I have a newborn baby and straight away I was told 'totally understand, if you can get here somewhere between 10-10:30 it won't be a problem'
Once arriving (later than 10) my car was seen pretty promptly and I sat in the waiting area watching the process. Simon quickly came over to tell me the issue and spent time with me to discuss options.
I've been going to F1AC Sittingbourne for all of my vehicle needs for years and I will continue to do so, the staff are always really friendly and as a young(ish) woman that doesn't know a great deal about cars, I'm completely satisfied that I'm given an honest, fair opinion at a good price.
Avoid Formula1 sittingbourne
I had 2 tyres fitted at Sittingbourne, I noticed the guy booking the car in had a massive weeping round cut on his elbow, I got my car keys back and left, when I got home I noticed there was blood on the door and on the passenger seat vinyl, I called to complain and was met with I can only apologise, that was it, I emailed head office with photos, their response was: "Having spoken to the staff there are no persons on site with open wounds so this came as a surprise to them"
Obviously there must have been an open wound to put blood in my car, their older site manager who drove the car out of the inside tyre bay had an open wound on his elbow which I observed when I arrived so to say no one knew of an open wound is not correct, customer services have totally dismissed my photographic images of the blood and made me feel like I am not telling the truth, blood can carry many diseases which I had to clean up myself and disinfect my hands, this is totally unacceptable from a reputable company
My advice, avoid

Always use this garage. Friendly team and efficient service. Within 20 minutes my issue was sorted.
Well. Greeted by a man whose name I didn’t bother to note due to Sarcastic and very un-funny ‘jokes’ in response to my very reasonable questions about the time it would take to complete my tyre change. Loud ‘banging music’ pounding my ear drums to the point I waited across the road for the work to be done. Maybe re-think the music choice to be slightly more ‘customer friendly’? Instead of ‘I’m at a music rave for the late ‘teen brigade’
Work was ok. Advisory information was fair. Lawrence was very nice when we collected the car.

Booked an MOT at the Sittingbourne store. My car failed, which was fine. They advised on work which was needed to pass and we paid them to do the work the next day. When the car was put in again for the repeat MOT, the work which was paid for was still on the MOT as minors/advisories. Went back in and advised the MOT was wrong, MOT guy said he’d sort it the next day. Didn’t happen. Called them, was told it’d take a few days. Went in another week later and asked them why it hadn’t been done and the manager said the guy wasn’t in and wouldn’t be able to do anything for a week as the only way to fix it would be to do a full mot again. When I said I was really unhappy, he told me we could do this the hard way or the easy way. If I chose the hard way, I could report it to the dvla and be charged £59 and wait weeks or we could do it the easy way and wait until the MOT guy could schedule it. Horrible attitude, ineffective staff and held to ransom to get a basic job done. AVOID.

Amazing support from the team and I will coming back
Don't have an MOT test with Formula 1. I used to like and trust this garage but I don't anymore. My car failed its MOT on the headlights which needed a clean on Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon they told me they would have to book another test and that wouldn't be until Monday when they would sort the lights and do a retest. It's not like they had to order parts or it was a big job! They made no provision for a possible re-test on the same day and the hassle not having a car for me has been huge since I work where there is no public transport. I will not be using them again. They are taking the mick and it's not fair.

I’ve been using F1 Sittingbourne for a few years and have always been meaning to leave a review for the great team there! So, in particular, today I needed an oil change and inspection on a VW Polo.
Whilst booking, the manager told me it’ll be much cheaper to have an interim service which includes so much more. This I appreciated, honesty is everything!
I’m very grateful for the service and wish to thank the technician (LP) and the manager who actually did a deal on the price. By the way, the hand break is like new! Can’t remember it ever being like that 😊 The engine is much quieter too, an improvement - very happy 😊
Thanks guys, I’ve recommended you all to my work colleagues at the NHS 😊
Really excellent service and welcoming, friendly and reassuring staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I drove in after unexpectedly getting a warning about my tyres, they very quickly checked these and were able to assist immediately to rectify a puncture. Whilst waiting I was able to book in my car for its service and mot. Won’t use any other garage now.
Today was my second booking for my MOT.
The first couldnt be done due to a fault with the equipment, of which they knew about a few days previous, as they were explaining about the amount of work they havent been able to do. I wasnt told in advance and the car was booked in and i left , to get a phone call an hour later, to say it couldnt be done as they wasnt awear that it was a 4x4... a Ford Ranger.
The second booking, I left the vehicle with them and returned an hour and a half later. No phone call this time. I arrived to be told that they couldnt do the MOT as their 'jack isnt man enough for the job'.
I asked for the manger after sharing my frustration, he came to speak to me with his hands in his pockets and a smirk on his face. I expressed how unhappy i was, and how its far from good enough. I went on to say that his attitude isnt good enough and during this he walked away stating' i'm leaving before i say somehting i regret'
I dont have to share how rediculous and frustrating this experience has been.
I do also need to give credit to the person on reception, hes always lovely and trys his upmost to treat everyone well. Unlike the manager.
I needed some advice regarding my son's car and the fault light that wouldn't disappear in regards to the tyres. I was a little bit dubious as some poor reviews however I was pleasantly suprised. Able to fix the fault light and advised me of the best course of action with regards to an issue with my own car. It would appear they now have a new manager in this branch - staff very pleasant and helpful. Will be using this branch again. Thanks Formula One Sittingbourne Team
Booked my car in for a MOT and service on 3rd January 2024 , was told to bring it in for 8 30 am on that morning, which I did .I was told that they had some staff shortages but should get all the work done , if they couldn't they would phone me , i was also asked if the wheel nut was available , which I said yes , it's in the boot with the spare tyre .Come 4pm that afternoon, I phoned them and was informed that they had done the MOT but not the service, I needed it done and to leave the car with them overnight. The person I spoke to said the car would be done first thing in the morning, I said that I needed the car to be ready for 1 pm as I had to pick grandchildren up from school , and was reasured it would be .I telephoned just before 1pm , only to be told that my car was next to be seen to .I explained again what I had been told , and they said all they could do was apologize , not much help to me .I asked how long it was going to take and was told a couple of hours .I had to telephone my husband to come home from work so I could you his car .I dropped my husband off at the garage on the way to the school .The car was on the front court and hadn't been touched because they couldn't find the nut wheel . Why didn't they phone me ? .My husband said the nut wheel could be in 2 places , the glove compartment or the boot with the spare tyre, he went out to look and it was in the boot .He took it back in to tell them where it was , they were not bothered , how can they carry on like this ? Why lie to me ? I shall not recommend this garage , customer service was really bad and a felt like as I'm a woman I don't know anything.
found team very helpful ,they were able to show me fault with bracket.
I picked my car from formula1 SITTINGBOURNE after more than 30hours servicing .I was informed that the front passenger tyre will be replaced with a new as I had a puncture and had the spare on. I could not believe my eyes 👀 seeing the mot check on the brand new tyre with a threading of 4.0mm while the others are 6 yet those I have used for over a year having bought them at protyre. The tyre does not even look new,What is going on in this garage.

Terrible service had my car for 2 days in total. Was supposed to be a full service but have found they did not do an oil change. They try and rip you off at the Sittingbourne store. Will never return.

Booked my wife’s car in to have repairs done the week before agreed a good price, and date of repair. Dropped the car off at 8.50 in the morning, it was only a couple of hours of work, called back at 16.00 and was amazed to be told they had not received the parts yet ? And the worked hadn’t even been started ! They agreed to call as it should be done shortly. 17.55 call to say No parts yet so car will be done first thing in the morning.
Next day I was called at 9.48 to be asked what was the Job they were going to be completing and had I agreed a price? I understandably got rather frustrated with the caller as he was saying my battery was faulty( it’s 4 months old and my wife’s brake fluid was low! F1 serviced the car in April and charged me to top
Up the brake fluid, which it transpired was 1% lower than it should be. I was right angry about this and made the caller aware I was not happy! To which I
was threatened with them taking my car off the ramps !! We agreed to disagree and was told the car would be fine shortly. When I was called to let me know the car was ready they had reduced the price. I was frustrated at the service and told the gentleman I spoke to earlier was the regional manager. They obviously don’t make notes or communicate.
