Update 26th may 2022. It appears there was a breakdown in communication between head office customer service and the southend branch. One phone call from the regional manager "Perry" and problem resolved! I have now regraded my 1 star to 4 star's. It shouldn't have taken a negative review to get this sorted, and it was only for a few pounds... But problems rectified... Thanks formula one.. ill be back!

went to get a puncture repair 3 weeks back and was garenteed they were the best price and would not be beaton.. it took a few calls and emails... But it has been honoured... I think 4stars it a true reflection on services received.

I experienced great service from Connor & Dave at Formula One Autocentre in Southend! Took my car due to a check engine light, and the guys at the shop were so helpful. Although they weren't able to fix the issue, they provided great help on next step and possible solutions - something you probably wouldn't get elsewhere. 5 stars from me!

Had to stop at Formula 1 Southend, as tyre blew on roundabout at Stock road. Conner was brilliant, no drama just had a look and replaced the tyre. Really speedy, professional and customer focused. Will and have recommended Conner and his team to friends and family. Thanks Formula 1

Connor, new manager for Southend, and Alex, were brilliant last week booking my car in to fit replacement shocks and track rods. Great service even though one of the parts I bought were wrong, they swapped them for me with eurocarparts directly and sorted it.
Was also happy to hear they use Haynes Manual fitting times to work out labour costs, so you don't get overcharged for time :)

Took my car in for a new intercooler. Was unable to complete the work on the day that had been arranged but did offer me a discount on the labour and also honoured a free wheel alignment.
Could not fault excellent service and highly recommend. Car is now all fixed and like new.
Big thanks to Connor, Alex and Dave the technician for getting me back on the road.

A million thanks to Alex and the team at Formula One (Sutton Rd., Southend) for the speediest service on my replacing a broken crank/alternator. They also did me four new brakes on my car. Without all that work being done in just a couple of hours, I would not have been able to get home that night -- didn't look forward to the prospect of a hotel. So again, thanks and thanks and thanks.

Extremely poor experience, when dropping off vehicle for a full service I was asked if there was anything I had noticed wrong with the car, I stated there was a knocking coming from under the driver’s seat and pedals, I was called after the service was completed and quoted a price for some work to be completed which I agreed to assuming it would be fixing the issue as well as any red flags from the service, then when picking the car up and paying the rest of my nearly £400 bill I was not consulted properly regarding the work completed and any of my concerns as the shop manager had to attend an “incident” where one of his techs was reporting an issue on one of the cars still in the shop. Finally driving the car to work the next day halfway into my journey I began hearing said knocking noise again. I have reported this and been referred to the regional manager and been told there is no record of me raising my safety concern regarding the knocking. Clearly if you value safety, a proper service and don’t like being ripped off you should not get any work done here and any issues you may raise will not be taken seriously as it has been two days of me waiting for a follow up email from the regional manager.

Good service re MOT, friendly & polite staff

Overpriced and questionable quality of workmanship. Shop around and do some research to avoid wasting money and disappointment.

Had a mot and service done on 29th July 2021 and I can not fault them. Every effort to get my Fiat punto through the mot which failed in the morning was done on the same day. Dan and his team at Southend on sea try there very best which is all I can ask for. There honestly and quality of workmanship seems to be top notch

Outstanding professionalism, together with outstanding courteousness and workmanship. Dan at formula 1 was such a gentleman a very rare quality these days. I couldn’t find my wheel lock and when I eventually found it, he kindly offered to help me put back the contents of my car. Really efficient, contacted me with the costs involved in having my car repaired, giving me the opportunity to check it was ok. Again Dan rang me to let me know when the car would be ready, giving me plenty of time to organise picking it up. Well done guys!!! Caroline Taberer

I have an M4 and had to replace 3 tyres which are not cheap! They had the best price in the area by far and were really quick to get the work done.

After I had the tyres put on, a couple of days later I drove over a nail! Unbelieveable ... flat tyre ... :-) No problem, they fixed it for me, really quickly.

Dan and John were exceptional and very helpful.

I always get my tyres from Formula one - cheapest and best in town but also they will price match if you find it cheaper. They are very helpful and considerate and friendly too! Thanks Dan and Dan :)

Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Dealt with a punctured tyre and were able to repair rather than changing the tyre. Honest and professional. Would definitely recommend.
