The Guys at Tunbridge Wells. Enter this morning we’re brilliant. I needed two new tyres on the Fiat 500. They’re customer service was excellent, they even found a bowl of water for my dog. The chap on reception who I first met, he was very helpful courteous and gave me good information and guidance as to prOducts prices and service. I can’t thank them enough so please do pass this back to Tunbridge Wells Centre very good service excellent in fact. Neil Park.

I recently took in my Abarth for a job into Tunbridge wells branch on Saturday 7th September, on this occasion they only had two staff come in for part of the morning, I just wanted to thank them both for fixing my Abarth whilst under the pressure they faced with people still turning up. They’re were a credit to the business staying professional, polite and friendly when you could see they were up against it. I shall carry on using this branch going forward. Very happy.

Amazing courtesy and politeness was shown by Chris (Tunbridge Wells Branch) with a challenging customer before me, expertly handled. I myself was just looking to book an air con re-gas for next week, however Chris said he could do it now (25°C outside) I had some vouchers at home but Chris said keep them for another day and only charged me the difference. Because of this kindness I will be booking my MOT and Service with Chris for next month, thank you again Chris😃

Second year running disappointment. Last year Tunbridge Wells had no MoT tester. This year I booked and prepaid ahead, only to be contacted the day before (as I was driving back from Wales) to cancel because the new MoT tester “hadn’t worked out”. On the positive side I was assured I’d get my money back. An offer of a priority transfer of test to another branch would have been better. How about a free test next year as compensation? Fortunately I’ve managed to get another appointment with Halfords.

Just visited Formula One at Tunbridge Wells for a noise in the front off side wheel. They were very quick to take a look, very polite and they adjusted something in the wheel and didn’t even charge me anything. I will certainly be going back there in future.

Terrible service at the Tunbridge Wells branch. Let me down twice in 2 weeks after booking a MOT with them on two occasions. I now have 6 days before mine runs out. I would avoid at all costs. Totally disorganised, not even the decency to call and tell me there was a problem and apparently this was the manager I was dealing with.

I had to give a one star not through choice though!

Not a great experience, unfortunately. When I arrived for my cars service and mot, no one was at the garage. Someone turned up and said he didn't have the keys and also couldn't work the computers. Wasn't sure where his boss was. He also said he was suprised they had booked me in for an MOT as the guy that done the, quit last week and they had no slots that day.
He took my name and number and said they could fit me in in 3 days time and would call me with a time slot. I never received a call.
I called them back and they said they could book me in a few days later, but, unfortunately my mot would have expired by then, so I had to go elsewhere.

I took my Peugeot 206 to Formula One, Tun Wells yesterday.
They gave a good, honest, fast, reliable and informative service.
I had gone somewhere else locally, previously and had such a poor service, no receipt given for the work and faulty used goods put on my car, when I had paid for new. I tried getting it put right with them, but they were very unhelpful and denied knowing anything about it. I will not use them again.
So I went to Formula One to get it put right. They explained issues I was unaware of, like a tyre that the other place locally, had put on the wrong way (backside of tyre facing out).
Lovely friendly people that didn't assume as a woman, I didn't know anything.
They gave competitive prices too.
I couldn't fault them if I tried.

Really competetive price, friendly and efficient staff, wheel balancing spot on, will not buy tyres anywhere else in future

Fast efficient service, friendly crew would definitely use again, A tea/coffee machine would be welcome

Beware of scammers.

Having never used you before I booked a full service at your Tunbridge Wells branch. Date 30 November 2023. During the online booking the section regarding "specialist oil" seemed quite clear. My car has never had specialist oil at a service, so I confidently clicked the "do you know" button as no.

On picking up my car, to my surprise I was charged the surcharge for specialist oil. To which I told the member of staff my car does not need specialist oil. As you can imagine, and as I am sure happens every time with F1, the staff member disagreed and enforced the charge on me.

The staff member also told me that "specialist oil" means any oil that has to be ordered in. It's not specialist, it's what you do not carry in stock. And that the stock oil isn't suitable for most cars.

This is a complete scam and false advertising. If your website had advertised correctly what the specialist oil provision really means, I would have gone elsewhere. As you advertise you offer the cheapest service, however when most cars fall foul of your scam, the cost is not as attractive as advertised.

I have filled a complaint with trading standards about false advertising as I believe you are operating outside of the consumer contract regulations.

From this underhand behaviour, I will never use your company again. Trust is gone, if you scam over service charges, I can only presume that is the top of the iceberg. What a disgrace.

After complaining to F1 directly, I was told the online platform is clear and not misleading.

I used the Tunbridge Wells F1 Autocentre today and was impressed by the service. I needed four new tyres and the manager ordered them in the morning in time for fitting this afternoon- in time for me to claim a manufacturer’s cashback offer which ended today! The staff were knowledgeable and courteous and I will definitely use them again.

Efficiently dealt with, pleasent waiting room and polite staff.

Adam at the Tunbridge Wells branch went out of his way to make sure that my daughter's car had its MOT/Service and numerous repairs carried out all on the same day so that she wasn't without her car for another day. They even worked past the closing time to ensure this. Fantastic customer service and dedication from him and the team, would highly recommend Formula One Autocentres Tunbridge Wells.

Very thorough with the MOT and I could watch from a viewing gallery all the mechanics on the car which were relevant to the MOT. Very pleasant mechanics who worked there and very friendly.

Would not recommend this company for mot had my car booked in on Thursday 31st August at the branch in Tunbridge wells. Received a phone call around 1hr before to say the mot tester hadn’t turned up which I understand as sickness happens. Rung the garage today Monday 4th September only to be told the mot tester is on a training course tomorrow when the garage rebooked it for so they can’t do it then ether. I’m sorry I understand with the sickness but surely training courses and booked weeks if not months in advance so the garage can not take bookings for that day. My partner also uses the car too shes nurse and not can’t do any of the work inside the m25 she is meant to do.
