Excellent Service at Facewest!

It's not always about the price, the efficiency of the services at times is very important and each time I've ordered items from Facewest they have arrived faster than I had anticipated.

Graham was able to give good advice and ensured that I was ordering what I needed which is really important when it comes to mountain safety equipment.

I've been using Facewest for over 12 years now and they never cease to amaze me with the efficiency of their service.

Speedy, efficient service. Ordered a Rab Jacket at 10:30pm on Monday, received confirmation that it has shipped at 9:30 the following morning and arrived the next day. All present and correct with my order, would definitely use these guys again.

Really poor customer service . Rude and unhelpful. I purchased a ME Citadel jacket in large. Unfortunately it was too big. I phoned the company and told them I would be sending it back. They had one medium left and I asked them to put it to one side for me. I even sent my large via special deliver at £11 so they would get it next day. They said they couldn't put the last medium aside for me and it is what it is. The kept banging on about company policy. Well the medium sold over night and they have no more left. Customer satisfaction - a big fat ZERO , will NEVER use again!

I ordered a Beal rope on Friday, it has just been delivered this Monday morning by Royal Mail. Deliveries aren't usually this quick to my address on South Loch Ness ! Very impressive, and the rope was really well packed ( necessary, it cost just over £160 ) so no chance of damage. Why can't all British companies be as efficient?

I bought the Arc'teryx aerios fl, misread description as I was looking for goretex lined and the pair I bought was without that. After quick reply to my email I sent them back and received refund within few days, brilliant customer service. I ordered the right ones again fast shipping and boots looking good. I bought a Therm-A-Rest NeoAir XTherm Sleeping Matt and it arrived quickly and safely, all in all i found my shopping experience at Facewest to be hassle free and stress free and the price of the matt i purchased was very competitively priced, I personally would be happy to shop with them again.

Very disappointing experience. I was seeking an MSR low level stove adaptor and this company was advertising stock. On this basis I ordered and paid. After the delivery period had passed I communicated with them only to be advised they had no stock - & that they hadn’t stock when I ordered. This is clearly a massive misrepresentation and one I am intending to escalate to try and prevent others experiencing the same.

An outstanding service from start to end! Ordered a Mountain Equipment jacket
as a present for my partner. Not only did Facewest have the best price - 20% off the RRP- the jacket was delivered promptly & ahead of time. Unfortunately the item was too small so contacted Facewest to arrange an exchange. I live close enough to the warehouse so was able to return & collect in person. I did however have to repurchase the larger size but a refund for the original order was processed immediately. A trustworthy and friendly company- would not hesitate to use again.

Paid for a premium delivery service where I should have been notified of a one hour time slot the evening before delivery. Either by email or SMS.

Paid for this due to needing to plan work commitments on delivery day.

Emailed the day of the delivery to inform Facewest that I had received no time slot info. Was told via email (that contained no name ) that the Facewest website contained incorrect information and it shouldn’t have said that.

I enquired about a refund on the premium delivery fee as Facewest provided incorrect information that misled me into paying for that service which I would not have paid for if the correct information was displayed

Facewest would not refund - company makes errors, takes your money and shuts the door.
