V helpful, responsive customer telephone service

I am a new customer wanting to open an account. I don’t always find it easy doing theings on line, but the member of staff I spoke to couldn’t have been more helpful and patient talking it through with me.

Katherine was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions. She put my mind to rest on the queries that I had and explained how things worked with my mortgage payments.

Lisa was a fantastic customer service representative.

As I am an elderly person who sometimes finds the internet account difficult the Family Building Society are always helpful when I contact them by 'phone and sort my queries and problems out very quickly, this morning a gentleman called Alfie Lander was a good example of this.

Rang for help as I was struggling to register for Family's online service and spoke to Rita Toth who guided me through with patience, good humour and friendliness. She was able to get me all sorted out ... and destressed! The registration process isn't the most straightforward, so it's a good thing they have Rita on hand!

Sanya's helpful and patient manner resolved my query in a businesslike but sympathetic way.

Call was answered quickly, without any long automated menu. The agent, Alfie was extremely polite and helpful. He offered to stay on the line, while I checked the issue was resolved.

I have found correspondence timely with different options made clear to me. I've valued being able to speak to staff on the phone about my options and appreciated their friendly and efficient manner. I think lots of institutions are keen to sign folks up, but less interested in customer service when you choose to close a product. My experience was equal at both entry and exit and this was appreciated. In a climate of scams and deception speaking to an actual human member of staff, who takes time to listen and explain is very reassuring. Thankyou.
