just red all other reviews and disagree with all of them. It's not a scam because mine arrived two weeks after I bought it and really good price and it's good quality for the price it costs.

Unbelievably slow service. On the 15th of November I ordered an item for my grandchild for Christmas and it is now the 26th of December and it has not yet arrived so no Christmas present this year for my grandchild. Merry Christmas to you too Faraday! I also earlier ordered something that took forever to arrive...guess I should have learned my lesson.

I give a 4 , because the customer service was very nice and even gave me my money back when i cancelled my order. I cannot say anything about the quality of the products though. You can usually find the stuff they sell 5x times cheaper on amazon, go take a look there. Thats where they get it and resell later.

As with others, items I ordered over 6 weeks ago have not arrived. The slick Web site is nothing more than a front for seemingly random retailers in Asia, which would be fine if (a) they were up front about it and (b) they had the ability to provide tracking information. From what I can decipher, shipments must literally ship by boat. So once you order, be prepared for the item to enter a blackhole where no information about your order is accessible until one day when it (presumably) just shows up. Steer clear unless you have at least 2 months of a window you can wait for the order to come.

If only I could give them -50 stars. This company is a scam. I placed my order on November 2nd. I ordered ONE item and it is now Christmas Eve and I have not received it. I got an email confirming my purchase and it came with a tracking number that was "invalid". It was not connect to my order. Then I got a second number that only worked some of the time. This made me feel like this company was really sketchy. But I was patient and waited the 5 weeks. Finally on the 23 I got an update saying it had arrived at my mailbox. When I checked it was not there. I have cameras at my house so I know the package never even arrived. I emailed the company and have gotten responses like, "is this the right address" "check again" "did a family member pick it up?" Just stupid ridiculous things that only frustrated me more. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. If they do not give me a refund I will be refusing the charge on my card with my bank. If you are in a similar situation a recommend you do the same.

I’m guessing by all the negative reviews that problems have existed but I have made two orders with this company and both items have arrived, well packaged and within the delivery time. The second order also came courtesy of a 30% discount so good quality products have gratefully been received, delivered to the UK on time and at a great price.
I can’t speak for anyone else but 5 stars from me!

Terrible

Still waiting after 6 weeks of placing an order and have not had a response from them as to when any of the items will be expected. Do not buy from this company.

As everyone else has found out to their cost this is a bad company!! My teenage son purchased two Christmas presents one for my wife and the other for me, he spent almost £50 and has received nothing at all and at the moment they have not responded to his request for a full refund. How can this company continue to trade. I shall contact the trading standards but as this company does not appear to be in the UK I do not hold out much hope.
Anyone else contemplating purchasing from Faraday Science please DO NOT!!

EDIT: since the original review I have asked Faraday for a refund and they immediately obliged. I have therefore brought my rating up.

I purchased something with these guys at the start of November, it was supposed to be a Christmas gift. Two weeks after my order confirmation, I get a notification that the item has been sent. I was surprised because I assumed the item had long been posted. Now, in the second half of December, I email enquiring about the purchase, and I'm told it's in transit in China. I live in Australia. It's taken five weeks for it to get to a point where it's in transit in the country of origin. Ridiculous. Don't purchase with these people!

Edit: I just read the other reviews and it seems this company is a total scam and the items never arrive. I am going to ask for a refund, and will consider taking this review down if I get one.

Ordered stuff for Christmas In mid November.
Days before the big day my stuff hasn’t arrived.
‘Giselle’ refused to acknowledge this was not unusual.
After demanding in no uncertain terms that they refund me I receive an email from her stating that they will go ahead with the refund.
If you haven’t received your goods but they refuse to pay back your money, they did with me.

Read fine print... No visible way to cancel order and handling may take in excess of 5 weeks, not including the untracked shipping that is slow and expensive. Absolute joke of a business, who ever owns this company should be ashamed.

Absolute joke. Still have not received my item after 6 weeks. They send your stuff with a sketchy looking company from God knows where on earth. POS company, will be spamming them with emails daily for the foreseeable future :)

I ordered the moon lamp, it was 90$ US - it is a total scam. A plastic ball (small) with a usb plug showed up. The instructions are improssible to read - but the device does not charge. The materials are worth about 3 bucks.

I've not heard back from customer service yet - but I would venture to say the item is a complete and utter scam.

I was very nervous after reading these reviews, and had written off the £30 I paid to this company...
I placed an order on the 11th Dec, but sent an email to cancel immediately after receiving the confirmation as the estimated delivery time was 3-5 weeks. Yesterday I realised I still hadn't received a reply, so I done an internet search to see if I could find a telephone number to call them on, which is when I stumbled across these Trust Pilot reviews.

Needless to say my heart sank, and I cursed myself for not being more thorough before parting with my money. Imagine my surprise this morning when they emailed back saying they had cancelled my order and fully refunded me (confirmed by PayPal).

I'm very sorry everyone else seems to have had such a bad time, but my own experience hasn't been that bad at all. Saying that, I've not actually received anything from this company so I can't speak on the quality of their merchandise or length of time to receive it, but in terms of customer service I can't complain at all

After waiting over two months for what I now realise is a massively over priced item, it arrived in a badly damaged box, with predominantly Chinese packaging.
I have asked for a refund - judging by the comments here however I have no chance, though will happily remove this complaint if I do..
Fortunately I have the money to replace my 5 year old nieces present, but I’m lucky. It’s put me off buying from companies advertising on Facebook. They also claim to give to charity... I have to assume now that’s a lie too.

Item arrived about a week later than expected.

Parcel tracking was poor (but fault of delivery service I guess) - Didn't update for about 3 weeks and then suddenly arrived.

Emailed them to ask about delivery but had no response until I raised a case through paypal.

Item arrived as described and in good condition so was decent value.

Wouldn't recommend if it is something you want in a hurry, otherwise fine.

Do not order from these people. I waited NINE weeks for my order, which they would not allow me to cancel, and now they want me to pay the shipping on the return. Went back and forth with some idiot by email who kept telling me the package was "in transit." (also tried to message them on FB and contact them via their web site.) No apology for the extremely late items and no attempt to resolve the issue. Their "policy" says returns must be within 30 days of order but they state on the web site that orders may take 3-5 weeks to arrive. So if you get it after the 30 days and aren't satisfied, what's supposed to happen?

I should have known this was a scam. I know better, but I got sucked in by their website. It does look legit. Sticking with Amazon in the future. Total scam.

I sure wish I ad read these reviews before ordering. I guess I am just another victim. Made order in October and Giselle keeps telling me "It's in transit, nothing we can do". Wow you would think a company hat deals with overseas shipping would know 3 months is a problem. I hope more people read these before making an order!!

Total scam - the items I ordered were never shipped and they refused to give me a refund RIP OFF ALERT!
