When i called them some arrogant tw@t said " it is in our terms and conditions".
So I read right through them and thwarted them by their own terms and conditions.

Make sure you read the T&C's and understand the implications of the small print, and definitely end your agreement with them once you have paid them. While they may get you a couple of hundred pounds back for overpaid tax on PPI claims, what is not made clear in any verbal communication with them is that should you pursue your own claim with HMRC, say for a tax refund on pension contributions, these people are entitled to claim 36% of anything you receive, even though they have had zero input in the process for this claim, or even contacted you to see if this is something worth looking at. I am guessing since PPI finished this is now how they make most of their money, as most people won't know this, or end their agreement with them, until they get caught out. While covered by the small print, its basically a con, taking lots of money for doing nothing, all because you signed up for PPI.

Prior to engaging our services, our T&C are displayed on screen to be read to ensure that the potential client is making an informed decision, and by submitting a claim the client is confirming that they have read and agree to the T&C, which do state that a claim can be made directly to HMRC without using FTR.
If HMRC inform us that a tax year we were instructed to make a claim against has been recalculated, an amended invoice is issued to the client.

My answer to this is simple - Because you demonstrate that you care that the PPI refund that is owed to customers are refunded. FastTrack Claim was relentless in their effort to see that I receive my own share that they 'follow-up' with my application even though I didn't complete with the process when I first try to make the application. FastTrack Claim make sure I was sent with a form; partly filled should incase I decided to continue with the process.
