Good purchases but commission and delivery charges are too high
I have bought several items from this auction company. It used to be good value to buy from them but recently they have put on a £25 postage cost for some items as well as their 25% commission.

In regards to postage, while Royal Mail will charge us £7.35 to post out this parcel, we also have to take into account the resources that an in-house shipping service costs the company, which include but are not limited to our eco-friendly packing materials, technology development for integrated shipping services, and the fact that we employ 2 full-time members of staff to pack and dispatch the goods. We aim to provide a quick and efficient postal service.
As for our commission, we offer a competitive buyer’s premium which is inline with both local and global auction houses, and is clearly advertised on our website before any of our customers can agree and proceed to bid. We are proud to offer many helpful services for free, including , free online bidding, and additional expertise, photographs and information on upcoming lots, which many of our customers agree makes their auction process effortless and efficient.

Silence for a whole week after the auction. I had to call to find out whether the item had been dispatched 4 days after my money had be taken.

First time buying from Fellows. Very happy with everything, the whole process worked very well from registration to bid, the bidding process itself and finally receiving the item after auction. Highly recommended. The Bid Calculator is also very useful as calculating the buying fees can be complicated.

Took longer than I would have liked for delivery, but well worth the wait. Very well packed with great care and sent by next day delivery.

Good experience marred by shipping delay.
The bidding process and payment were easy and straightforward. Unfortunately, having not received my items more or less a week after paying, and despite Fellows website stating that items will be dispatched within 3 working days of payment, I had to contact Fellows and chase up where the items were. I was told they were very busy, hence the delay. Not good, given that they do this all the time, as their business, and so should be able to cope. Items did finally arrive. Will use Fellows again, and hopefully get a better service.
