Still leaking oil.
Clocked up 61 miles while checking my car???
All within 8 months car now off road.

Bought a Nissan from this dealer.
Got as far as the garage to fuel up and the engine management light came on.
As a mechanic myself put my reader on it egr valve.
When I told them they didn’t want to know, would never buy from them again. Be warned stay well away.

Bought a mini countryman from Kieran a week ago. I have had a couple of minor issues due to its age(9 years old) and wear and tear. Took it back both times (at a time to suit me!), and Kieran sorted it out immediately. Alright I shouldnt have had problems within a week, BUT as my dad would have told me, its all the joys of motoring in an older vehicle. These issues occured yes, HOWEVER, the prompt response with the after sales service amazed me after some of the write ups on here. WOULD recommend this garage to anyone looking for a used vehicle.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I got my first car on finace here. Passed its mot that morning, picked it up that evening while driving home the electrics failed.
Within a month of having the car the coil and spark plugs went along with the thermostat.
After a month and a bit the exhaust then blew. Took it back to the garage and The manager tried to tell me someone had crashed into my car.
They they attempted to fix the exhaust by covering it in filler. Luckily I had protection from my finace and they deemed the car not road safety and I rejected the car. They then refused to give me my deposit back! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGE. They took advantage of a young new driver thinking they could woo me over with big words. Not caring about my safety with a dodgey car they had sold me.
The car is now back up for sale! BL64TVV.
AVOID.

Fiat 500 not fit for purpose, dangerous!!!!

After visiting this dealer together with a dear friend who purchased a car I was disgusted by how they treat their customers. Not only had the car been returned a few times with faults the dealer failed miserably in fixing them to any decent standard. Car was MOT and that very day the electrics failed which could have been life threatening on a busy road at night travelling on a commute. The exhaust then started blowing for the 2nd Time because it hadn't been fixed to an appropriate standard previously, it was bodged with filler. When we entered the dealer the salesmen disappeared which if it weren't for the seriousness of the situation was comical. My friend had to fight for weeks to get this unfit for use vehicle back to these unprofessional lot and even now they are still refusing to give her the deposit back. Buy from this dealer at your peril they are liars and I wouldn't trust buying a vehicle from them !!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY brought a 66 plate van within a month it stopped working they offered to fix and within 2 weeks off the road again!!! This time I took to a Approved main dealer garage and they confirmed it would cost over £1400 to get repaired. When called FG THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED only had the van for just over 3 months and 5 days in total and it’s only been on the road for 2 months the rest of time (4weeks) it’s been off road waiting to be repaired!!!

Hi I Purchased a ISUZU CREW CAB from FG Cars on the 3rd September and I honestly have to say they were brilliant.
I purchased the Vehicle from Ireland and worried over the money which was £11500 and the vehicle was on a truck 3 days earlier as described and no issues. I am completely happy with the ISUZU Dmax Utah Crew Cab and would certainly recommend FG Cars to anybody without hesitation. Everything worked out the way I wanted. I am a first time buyer and was so happy with service of the salesmen at FG Cars, they helped me find the perfect car for me and was just in my budget. I would 100% recommended going there if you’re a first time buyer. I am so happy with my new fiat 500, can’t wait to be driving it around.

Brought a car from here, took it to a friend who is a mechanic, straight away he noticed it needed a new gear box, the garage said it was fine! Complete lies!!!

Please be careful before purchasing from this dealer. My son bought a car from there & later found out it had been involved in a serious accident & they claimed that they weren't aware of the vehicles previous history! After several discussions with them & each time coming away with more issue rather than them solving problems I made the decision to walk away even though it will cost us financially it wasn't worth the mental trauma trying to deal with these guys. Personally I would set foot in the place again but if you do then PLEASE be very careful before even considering purchasing from them

Appalling obstructive and unhelpful. Guaranteed sale for them but came up with a story about how they had an appointment at the weekend so couldn't take a deposit over the phone. Advised that I could not get over until Tuesday to collect due to work commitments. I then asked if I could get over there today would he sell it to me. Answer Yes. Okay if I pay in full today would yo sell to me. Answer Yes. So what would you tell your viewer for tomorrow?? Came up with some cock and bull on weekend appointments etc. I then said I'd pay in full now with my credit card and for his security would bring same card and ID with me when I collect so he could chip and pin etc. Answer. We don't accept credit cards.
From past experience I have paid cash or bank transfer for my car's but due to a scam merchant elsewhere my last vehicle was ridden with issues which I had no recourse on as dealer would not refund. However if I'd paid with card I would be protected.
Due to this morning's comments of not accepting cards or deposits I feel like this dealer has lost himself a sale from a very interested and genuine customer. Sorry but I cannot recommend this unhelpful bunch of wheeler dealers.

Excellent cars and the prices are reasonable to! Great members of staff that leave you to do your thing and just understand what you need. Very happy with F G Cars and they should be proud. This is my experience and I think these other reviews must be a scam to harm the business. Thanks again F G Cars

If only there were a 0 star rating. DO NOT BUY FROM FG CARS! Bought a Nissan Quashqui from them back in February and they advised 3 months warranty... no surprise there! Within the first month of having the car all tyres were losing pressure. Emailed ‘Kieran’ who is supposed to be a CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT and got ignored, and again. Called up and he advised he had changed his email address bulls**t and there was nothing he could do! (Within the warranty period) He was very quick at replying when he wanted my money. Since then I have had to spend more than £2000 on the car I payed £6000 for, new tyres, brakes, brake pads, ECU, new battery and more. The car wasn’t fit for purpose and I was advised by a trusted local garage if I had carried on driving the car, the brakes would of eventually stopped working and well you know the end result. Absolutely disgraceful and they should be ashamed of themselves, calling themselves a trusted business when all they are are low lives who like taking people’s money. All the stress caused and money lost. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGE!!

I flew there all the way from Ireland. Once landed in London Stansted I took two trains to get there and get my car. As agreed I called them letting them know 3 hours earlier that I was coming. By the time I got there the car wasn't even ready by this is NOT THE REAL PROBLEM. I kindly asked to take down the price as the support for the spare wheel was not there but nothing: not even 1 pound and... again this is NOT THE REAL PROBLEM. The real problem is that after driving all the way to Ireland, the following day I realized that the CLUTCH THRUST BEARING is overused and now this will cost me big money. I suspect other hidden things. They have to thank that I don't live there otherwise I would have made them paying for what they did. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AND DISHONEST PEOPLE!

8000 miles after buying and I’m devastated. I bought my car back in February, it was MOT’d the day I got it, no advisories. However, a headlight failure light kept appearing due to the previous owner fudging the wiring to put fancy lights in. However the lights themselves worked. After taking the car to my local garage to have the light sensor issue corrected, they confirmed it needed an auto electrician as they couldnt resolve it after re-wiring. They told me if I didn’t have the lighting problem corrected then it would fail an MOT which is odd because it ‘passed’ at the garage FG Cars use on the day I bought it with the same fault! This resulted in a specialist having to order me a brand new ECU and fit it, at a cost of £600! As if that wasn’t bad enough, today I broke down in the vehicle. Driving along at 70mph I lost all power, was juddering, black smoke pouring out the back but luckily I managed to get onto the hard shoulder. However, it’s now at a garage awaiting a diagnosis, and I’m waiting for a hefty bill as the engine turns over but the car has no power. Upon further inspection it looks like the car was purchased on the cheap at a car auction as I found the receipt in the car when looking around. I drive the car well, mainly motorway miles, and have only done 8000 miles since buying it 5 months ago. Very disappointed.

EVIL SCAM SALESMEN, CAR NOT READY WHEN WENT TO COLLECT, DESPITE BEING TOLD IT WOULD, THEN THERE WAS A BUL MISSING AND THE THE ENGINE PACKED UP IN A £1OOOO CAR.
