My filter queen is over 35 years old and still going strong. Cannot best it for reliability and longevity.

what happened to customer service? Since when is it legal to charge a customer credit card for anything without, first, letting the customer know? This seems to be the practice with Filter Queen. But, when you ask their "so-called" customer service rep... it's the customers responsibility??? Or in this case...no answer at all.

I was solicited to buy a Defender during covid lockdown since I was a previous buyer of a vacuum (1998). They convinced me to buy another vacuum since I needed another, and since I initially loved the first one I was a willing buyer. As I've read in other reviews the new vacuum is awful! For all the same reasons poor brush head cleaning, it acts more like a poor version of a Swiffer, the long arm is very difficult to disengage, it's so loud it sounds like it's struggling to function. I would return it if I could because for the huge price it is a terrible appliance!

The new Filter Queen (1 1/2 yr old) is really loud. Much louder than my old one.
The connections between the wand and the hose is still so extremely hard to get apart, even though they told me it would "loosen up with time" Even getting a new wand didn't help.
The design of the new floor tool seems to be off. It just doesn't seem to pick up dust, pet hair and particles effectively or maybe it's the "cleaning power" of the machine itself. Even the power head doesn't seem to do as good a job on carpets and area rugs.
And when are the Bio=filters coming out? I used to get them in September. Now they say November. Maybe a notice could have been sent out to customers advising us of the change in delivery and the reason.

Filter Queen advertised their "Home Sanitation System" as a once in a lifetime purchase. I know, At one time I sold them door to door to 100's of great people. We currently own three in different flavours.

Recently my spouse mentioned that felt pad attachment was getting to the point where soon the rivets will start to scratch everything they touch.

I contacted Filter;ter Queen to order replacements and get "from Lisa Jordan : Sorry it's a discontinued item" for a reply.

So, guaranteed for a life time, huh? Whose life time would that be anyway.

This Company now shows it's true colours and might as well say they don't give a ***p about Customers or their loyalty.

Since our home is entirety hArdwood floors, we no longer have a way to clean them all thanks to Filter Queen. And no, I will never buy another Filter Queen Product!

BTW, I would have rated them a minus 10 if it were possible!
