We recently had a new fireplace and log burner installed by Fire Designs Ltd (Wellingborough), and found Matt, James and their team to be highly proficient workers. The initial survey and subsequent installation was carried out to an exceptionally high standard with the minimum of fuss and the room was left very tidy. We would therefore recommend this company to anyone considering a new fireplace, wood burner or related item... they have a great showroom too!

Great experience start to finish, we now have a log burner that is keeping our living room really warm. Started with a free survey by Simon who was super knowledgeable and helpful. Fitting was very quick and the team were fantastic. Very pleased with the finished result. Would highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly and helped us find what we were looking for in store. They worked with us to create our fireplace which we are very happy with. Took the time to come and do a survey when we were unsure if our chimney would be suitable for a log burner to be installed. When the men came to fit they were excellent took care to keep everything clean and did a great job would definitely recommend.

This was our first endeavour into a wood burner, we found that from start to finish the whole experience was very very good, the workmen made sure that the area was all well protected, polite staff all round, would totally recommend this company

From assessment to quotation, with all questions answered nothing was to much trouble. The day of fitting the guys arrived covering everything in the room and the kitchen floor when walking through, taking shoes off each time. The work taking two days mainly for things too set, day two wow what a new look too our dining room, a beautiful wood stove with granite hearth and a limestone mantlepiece. Everything was assembled carefully and kept clean. We had a demonstration on lighting and looking after it. So thank you fire designs, excellent job would recommend them everything time

Simon and Brandon did a great job. We had an a very large old log burner to remove which they managed well. Everything was well covered and they were very clean and tidy, very professional and I can thoroughly recommend.

Excellent service. Visited the shop in Corby for advice on purchasing a wood burning stove. The assistant showed us a large range of stoves and explained the advantages and disadvantages of each. We were also taken through the options for a hearth, fireplace interior and mantel.
We revisited the shop one week later and selected our choices. Installion date was only 2-3 weeks later. Installation team were friendly, efficient and left the living room clean and tidy. We were given a full explanation of how the stove works and a practical demonstration.
I would highly recommend this company and the Corby store in particular.

Fire Designs have just installed our stove and the experience was excellent from start to finish.
James at the show room was able to give us great advice and we could view the great range of stoves in the show room.
Simon and his team of fitters were so hard working, polite and did a great job of keeping every where as dust free as possible. They covered all the carpet and furniture, used an industrial extractor and vacuumed and swept when ever it was needed. Really respectful I felt.
I felt the whole experience was very professional.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Fire Design.

Jame's in the Wellingborough showroom was most helpful. Although we took a long time to reach a decision, he carefully and, (it transpired), accurately detailed our various options.
The fire design installers were excellent. They took great care not to create any 'mess', diligently covering all furnishings and the floor. They clearly took justified pride in their workmanship and completed the job to, in my unprofessional view, a very high standard.
Between fitting the fireplace/fire and returning to fit the mantel, I had made some changes to how I would like the power lead run. They had no problem with this and cheerfully made some minor adjustments to met my revised requirement.
The completed job looks excellent.

Awesome service from the Wellingborough branch. Beautifully installed new stove, liner, boarded and finished the recess, hearth and beam. Really pleased with the finish, attention to detail and how easy going and polite, the young lads who did the work. Cost was also very reasonable.

We are very pleased with our new wood burner and surround. The service was very good from the sales team through to the installation. The Installation team did an excellent job removing the old fire and installing the new, they left the room in good order. Before leaving we were advised us on how to use the fire correctly.

Excellent service received from the Fire Design Ltd team at Wellingborough site. We ordered a replacement fireplace with gas fire and are extremely pleased with the end result. We recently had a wood burning stove fitted by Fire Designs. We had no idea what we wanted or what was achievable in the space we had. James in the Wellingborough Showroom was fantastic and patiently advised us. The brilliant service extended to the survey which, again was unrushed and the engineer that visited weas very knowledgeable. When it came to the actual installation, the guys were respectful and competent, leaving the lounge as they had found it with literally no mess or dust. Would highly recommend this company for anyone considering having a burner installed. Highly professional service from the moment we entered the showroom to the burner being fitted.
