Several visits made to the showroom whilst we made up our mind. Absolutely no pressure, just advice and knowledge from James and his team. The pros and cons of each stove and installation type were made clear to us. Eventually we decided and a date for installation was agreed. We were sent a confirmation email and spoke to the showroom before the installation. The young but experienced installation team arrived promptly and set to work. We knew there would be some mess but the team did as much as possible to minimalise this from the outset. They explained what they would do and asked us if any decisions were to be made during the installation. They were so professional. They were friendly, polite and respectful. It was a pleasure to have them at home for the day. They worked late to ensure they finished within the day. They then took the time to go through the installation paperwork and instructions how to use. Then they lit the stove and tested it, showing us how to get the best from it. All in all a great company to deal with. We are delighted with the installation and stove.

Their showroom has a good selection of log burners and James was very helpful in explaining the various options. Our choices were confirmed at the site survey and the installation completed about three weeks later. The installers did a good neat job and we are very happy with the result.

Great service from fire designs. We're very happy with our new log burner. The lady in the showroom was very friendly and helpful in showing us the log burners and all the options we could have with it. James was also very helpful and gave us a few option to think about for the installation quote. The two guys that came and done the installation were also great and efficient. They left it tidy each time they left, and they managed to get our old brickwork off the walls without damage. Thank you all, I would definitely recommend fire designs!

Great service from Fire Designs Wellingborough. From the moment we walked into the shop to the fitters leaving. Everyone was Polite, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. On the day the fitters were clean tidy workers. Explained everything and left the property very clean and tidy. Would recommend them.

Helpful and friendly staff, fast work

Problems with a part failing on our flu took quite a while to resolve that issue although not fully resolved yet this is partly due to slow responses to my enquiries and my spell in hospital after major surgery

The part was replaced by the representative of your suppliers under WARRANTY after failing in less than one year you infact have not visited these premises since the initial installation was completed and in fact only saw the problem due to photographs that I sent by email
My contract is with YOU not YOUR supplier therefore it is not for me to contact them and at the time i booked and paid for the installation did not know the suppliers details

I can't thank James and the technicians enough for all the help and support given. From start to finish they were extremely helpful throughout the process of choosing a log burner. From the design, installation and demonstration they were an outstanding team. I'm so very pleased with the end result. I can't rate these guys highly enough. I highly recommend Fire Designs. On our initial visit to Corby showroom, we found the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Survey arranged and carried out with all the help and advice we needed.
Went ahead and booked installation date which happened to be one of the wettest days of the last few weeks. Installers put plastic sheeting on carpets then dust sheets on top. Very professional, clean and friendly. Full explanation and demo of lighting the fire.
Even swept the chimney.

We can’t thank the wonderful team at Fire designs enough for the amazing service and work they have completed installing our Log burner this week , it’s been a long time dream of mine and it’s been a fantastic experience , our new log burner is beautiful the workmanship of the fitters excellent , we are looking forward to many years of cosy fires , as 1st time owners the fitting team were great at explaining how to use thank you so much , would 100% recommend

From start to finish the service was excellent. The salesperson was knowledgeable, patient and accommodating which gained our custom. The survey guy was brilliant, giving us extra options that we wouldn't of known we could have as he advised we could increase the fireplace size. Then finally the fitters were super quick, very tidy and very friendly. So pleased with the finished work, amazing log burner, been on everyday since we got it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS COMPANY

We had an old fireplace removed and the 2guys that did the work did so without causing any damage to the wall and took great care
The new fire place was fitted and again the 2 guys took a great care and did an excellent job they also fitted the new required skirting board and left the room very clean
We would have no hesitation in recommending Fire designs or using them again

We finally decided to replace our fireplace and gas fire with a free standing log burning stove and external flue pipe, (As we have no chimney). Visiting the Fire Design Ltd. showroom in Wellingborough provided a great opportunity to visualise the various options and formulate a project design, drawing upon the experience, advice and recommendations of James. He made a visit to us a few days to survey and then produce a quotation, which was competitive We were able to secure an installation date for around 3 weeks later. The work was completed to a very high standard and we only wish we'd gone for this years ago !

I had wanted a log burner for many years.
Having read previous reviews concerning Corby Firedesignes I visited the showroom, made an appointment for a fitter to come out which he did at my convenience. He was very pleasant, gave advise and explained the differences in the appliances.
The installation took two days as there was a gas fire and boiler to remove first.
Obviously a dusty job but every care was taken to keep the dust to a minimum, covering furniture and carpets with dust sheets, covering the open archway with plastic sheeting to cut down dust in the other room. It was far less messy than I was expecting.
The two lads that came and did the job were very professional, polite, friendly and perfectly capable. Demonstrating how to use the fire and advice on how to maintain a good working stove, even though they had another job to go to that afternoon they did not rush through the demo or advice. They did an excellent job I would be happy to recommend the company to anybody. I would also feel comfortable contacting the company for further advice in the future.

The team that fitted the fire were amazing. They were very careful to keep everything clean and before leaving they explained everything to me and answered any questions that I had.

Excellent 5 star service. Arrived when the said, a lot of brickwork to remove. They were finished within the two day time slot and stayed to show us how to use it all.
It looks amazing, the mantle was damaged they noticed it on the Wednesday and by the Friday they came out again to replace it. Great service, we had to go over and dust as expected but the place was incredibly clean when they left.
The guys were great, really nice and helpful.

From start to finish, the service was extremely good. Fire Designs removed a gas fire and fitted a multi-fuel burner. This included making the opening in the chimney breast bigger and plastering the area, fitting a chimney liner etc. Everything was done neatly, carefully and quickly. Can't fault Fire Designs and would highly recommend their services.

Had a new gas fire fitted on Monday, matt and callum turned up on time and they got straight to work removing my old fire and fitting the new one very good service, very friendly and no mess very tidy .Would recommend fire designs to family and friends very good service from start to finish thank you.
