I purchased an engine from Firestone…

I purchased an engine from Firestone Buford, GA in September 2019. I have a 36 month, unlimited mileage warranty on this engine. I had issues within months for work that wasn't done during the engine installation. Firestone did cover the additional repairs and car rental at my local Ford location in SC due to my local Firestone refusing to look at the vehicle because "we don't even replace engines here because once you replace an engine everything else goes wrong. You'll have to have it towed back to GA". I called three additional Firestone's in the area who stated the same. This after being told by the manager who sold me the engine that there is a Firestone "guarantee" that I could go to any Firestone in the United States. After the regional manager was looped in, it was agreed the work could be down at the local Ford dealership. In addition, the same manager at the Buford, GA location was suddenly and ironically no longer working there after this happened, although no one would provide a reason why. In June 2022, my car broke down. In July 2022, I received an "engine time jump" diagnosis from a Ford Master Technician with over 25 years of experience working on Ford's who now owns his own shop. I contacted the regional manager, Julian M., that I had been in contact with before and he did not return my phone call or text message. I contacted Firestone claims. They initially offered to reimburse me for the engine only. My complaint was that none of the other work would have had to be done if I wasn't told by the manager that I needed a new engine so I requested full reimbursement. I even offered to disregard the towing fees and car rental expenses I have incurred. Not to mention that stress I've endured from not having a car and living in a town that doesn't offer reliable Uber or Lyft services. Firestone refused the request for full reimbursement and said the regional manager, Julian M., was adamant that I would only receive reimbursement for the engine and the offer stood at the engine only (they didn't offer repairs). They said if I did not accept tje offer, they would send an inspector. The inspector, who is hired and paid by Firestone, determined there wasn't a time jump and stated other issues with the car and there wasn't a "time jump". I am furious because although the Ford Master technician determined there was a time jump, Firestone is disregarding his diagnosis and denying the warranty. It's basically one technician's word against the other. I have no recourse other than to pay for my car to be towed to another location, pay for another diagnosis and then file an appeal which as Firestone employee's their claims department is likely to deny because that's their job. I'm furious because while the manager was so friendly in 2019 while telling me about needing an engine replacement and telling me I have a warranty and a Firestone guarantee, it is not Firestone's intention to honor their warranty. My engine has a warranty that is not being honored! Firestone after offering to reimburse for the engine has now closed my claim.

Worst of the worst

Took a vehicle in to have rear brakes, approved almost $800 worth of work then they call me at 5pm to say they couldn't find parts for a Honda Passort and the service manager was going on vacation the next day so I could try to find my own arts or come pick it up. So I say I'll come pick it up.
No effort to find parts for fairly popular vehicle.
Later found out that they clamped the brake hose to the rear brakes… yes you read that right, the CLAMPED THE BRAKE HOSE TO THE REAR BRAKES, didn't bother to tell me and let me drive it home this way, now no other shop wants to even look at it now because there's no way of knowing what else they did!
Complained, promised a call from an area manager who evidently can't be bothered to return a call since 28th of July.
If you value safety, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!

Firestone Let staff Jason damage my BMW. Beware

with dates
went to my appointment at the Firestone on Highway 55 in Durham, North Carolina on June 25, 2022. Upon arriving, I saw a staff person approach a vehicle, enter it, and speed from the front to the rear and back to the front of the Firestone parking lot. I quickly entered the office and told the store staff James of my observation. I advised him that I did not want that individual driving my vehicle in such a manner. I remarked that I did not feel comfortable having him work on my BMW. I am not the manager, James said, "Okay, Ms. Ryan; I will inform Mike the manager."
I am not the manager, James said, "Okay, Ms. Ryan; I will inform Mike the manager." I waited a long time, so I went to James and inquired how much longer I would have to wait. James said that he did not know but would check. James did not provide any response afterward. I decided to search for my car via the front lobby glass. I spotted instantly who I now know to be (Jason) working on my BMW. I reported him because I didn't want him working on my vehicle based on what I saw him doing. I began recording using my mobile phone! Jason is now smiling and staring at me together with other individuals in the bay area. I filmed for some time. I immediately came outside and walked towards the bey area to inquire as to why an oil change is taking so long.
Although I was still recording my automobile in the bey region, I am not in the bay area. Suddenly, Jason began ranting at me, demanding to know why I was recording him. With all this happening I felt threatened and full of anxiety, and I take anxiety medication. I said that if you are working diligently, you should not be disturbed. The manager, Mike, arrived to instruct me to stop filming. I said that I am not in the bay area and that I am recording around my car. Mike shut the hatch in my face and instructed Jason, Get HER vehicle out of here. Jason slashed my tire, sped in my vehicle from back to front, and when I asked for the keys, he refused. This was all on my phone being recorded. I submitted a complaint that day, but have received no answer. Bruce Andrews attempted to offer me a tire that did not match my other tread, brand, etc.
I informed Brue Andrews that I ordered four matching tires in February 2022 and have invoices from a previous purchase with a warranty at a different tire store. Other concerns Oil change was NOT performed; I went to a different Firestone to reset the oil change interval, but it is still set at 8,000 miles as of 7/27/2022 with is Not accurate. Bruce text me several times about this case but never resolved it. He never asked to check my vehicle out regarding my complaint. I have texts of other Firestone staff sharing how Firestone is racist towards women of color, she was not able to help me or she would be fired by Firestone, she told me over the phone that Firestone was racist red necks and has been treating women of color like this and they will not change. Jennifer the regional manager has been asked and was said to talk to me to resolve this case but she has not contacted me and no one has contacted me to resolve this case they just ask as if they do not care about customers' property.
James stated to me that he would let the manager know that I did not want Jason working on my BMW Jason worked on my car, sped in my car and messed my car up all on camera. The other firestone manager stated he
Unique ID: 990628875

was tired of working on cars that got messed up at the Firestone I initially went to. I am not sure my oil change was completed properly.
I filed a complaint with BBB after numerous texts to from Bruce and phone calls to Firestone Corporate offices since June 25, 2022 to no avail. BBB reported my complaint to Firestone but They requested BBB not to contact them anymore with complaints. I filed complaint at Attorney General office.

I Def don't recommend the Firestone on Glenway

The Firestone on Glenway has to be the worst repair shop in the state of Ohio. The manager has no knowledge of mechanics unless there is a light on that he can hook up a machine to tell him what is wrong. If you want terrible service. Terrible work performed on your car, take it there. I can't express low enough on how I was treated because they didn't know how to fix it. I had to take it back 4 times and they never fixed it. $800 for a 4 cylinder tune up. And it has a bigger problem when I picked it up than when I took it in there.

Very disappointed in how I was spoken…

Very disappointed in how I was spoken to at store 1700 by the manager there who seems to not need repeat customers. Because I was late for my drop-off for my son's truck, you get spoken too like they are doing you a favor, "seeing if we can fit you in."...
I've spent thousands of $$$ at this store and should not have been thrown to the curb like this.

Ryan needs some management training if He continues to represent a Corp name like Firestone.
Possibly He can work a Joe's Brake Shop.

DO NOT GO TO NEW BRITAIN, CT FIRESTONE

DO NOT GO TO NEW BRITAIN FIRESTONE

4.5 hours for new brakes, rotors, oil change and alignment for our Sienna. After this long wait there was no discount. Just a regular oil change down the road. Spend $1100+ only to immediately have to return. It sounded like twisting metal at the rear passenger tire when I pulled off. I called and asked if someone test drove it which never happened. Of course, it was a general response of why what is the issue?

Nobody gave the car a test drive after which was evident upon pulling in seconds after this grinding metal sound was observed.

Horrible service, horrible time from drop off to completion, no compassion for their own errors and literally the whole day to address routine maintenance. I am still here and its 5 pm. I came in at 12noon. I just can't believe it! Last time I will ever arrive for servicing. And as a business owner in the Real Estate field and the Healthcare field I will make sure others I know are aware of the low expectations they have should they ever desire to stop into this rediculous establishment.

There has to be a no star option. That is what this review was written to reflect.

Firestone Complete Auto Care uses…

Firestone Complete Auto Care uses Credit First as a line of credit. This company "WANTS" your acct and routing numbers OR you "PAY EXTRA" for the lack thereof.

The option does exist for you to request that they "DON"T SAVE" this information.........SO TAKE A PICTURE EVERY TIME YOU MAKE A PAYMENT for the saving/non saving option.

Hence, please don't think for "ONE SECOND" that they would EVER disregard saving this information....per your request or NOT"!

Also....so why don't they just have Credit/Debit options as well...........................hmmm!

"Think!"

Not a deal breaker....but keep the pics coming!

You pay almost triple for services

You pay almost triple for services!
Late fees on top of late fees.
Firestone has no courtesy reminder for bill pay.
Whoever Anthony is he’s a horrible representative! He admonished me and said YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO PAY YOUR BILL”!
Wouldn’t give me a break in these hard times because my payment went in 2mins past 12am!
Another $40.00!
I can’t even use this card because every time I get ahead they decrease my credit!
I got this card for emergencies.
What a cruel joke

After 15+yrs of service with Firestone

After 15+yrs of service with Firestone, we are out! The new manager, Justin H, at the location in League City told my Employee to leave after he questioned a price, no reason at all, just leave. What? We have takin our fleet here for years and this new guy tells us to leave? After a bunch of crappy parts where used, under warranty, George, the Big Boss, will not fix any issues! We had to hire an Attorney to help us as we have 3 of our fleet vehicles down because of the terrible work performed. We only asked him to make it right, he refused. I suggest you go anywhere other than Firestone to get work done, a blind man with 1 arm would do better. We are in the Houston area and have hired an Attorney to move on a Class Action Lawsuit against them, if you to have had this bad experience, contact us. Power in numbers and consumers do not deserve to be screwed by Firestone

Poor Service

Poor, unethical and undocumented service
Visit 1. Squeaky front brakes. Did appointment online with 'waiting' selected. Went there on time. An hour later, still in waiting room, when asked I was told they did not look because they thought I was dropping off! Finally, another half hour to look at my car. Apart from the brakes-rotors, I received quotes for tires and brake fluid replacement (which I denied). Another couple of hours when they presumably (see below) replaced all 4 brakes and rotors for $750.
Within two weeks and less than 200 miles, the brakes were squeaking again - this time likely also one in back.
Visit 2. Did 'waiting' appointment at 7am in the morning which turned out to be a wintery day. I was told they were full, and I needed to come back in a week. BTW, nobody called.
Visit 3. Car was inspected in 45 minutes and I had that old recommendations for tires and brake fluid once more. When denied, I was told that they were busy and I had to come back! Only after firm insistence, they presumably replaced 3 sets of brakes and rotors in next hour and half. When asked what exactly happened in first visit, the receptionist went to talk to manager/technician in the repair shop, only to come back 5 minutes later to tell me they did not know!
Reported to customers service. Nothing.

Lee Rd, Shaker Height, OH branch.

Edited on Jan 10th, 22: After a consumer complaint, Firestone refunded partially labor charges for the brake job.

Worst customer service ever at the…

Worst customer service ever at the Rockwall Texas Firestone. They cracked my wheel mounting a new tire and then told me it was already cracked. It was fine before they mounted the tire. Filed a complaint with Corporate, was told a store manager would contact me in 48 hours. After 4 days I again reached out to Corporate, was told the store would be notified again, 3 days waiting and NOTHING! After being a loyal customer for 53 years this is how they treat you! Not to mention the $543.00 I'm out for a wheel they cracked. Screw them!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND VERY POOR TIME MANAGEMENT

Rude receptionist with terrible customer service. The team has very poor time management skills. You deserve no stars. Booked an appointment and got there 15 mins early. More than 1h after and my car was still not in the bay. When I asked about my car, she said she could give me my car keys back. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Superior Customer Service

My headlight went out on a Sunday night, I called the holly springs nc store and a angel by the name of Scott answered! I told him my situation & wanted to know if they could help me after I get off work(3pm) he told me to stop by he’ll check it out…long story short THIS MAN WENT OUT OF HIS WAY…..he told me to sit still he was waiting for the part to come in that he needed to fix the issue…he simply said to me “you’ll have a headlight when you leave here!” And I did!!! The entire store was so accommodating..while there I noticed several walk in’s came in, some the had to let them know that unfortunately they would need to come back the next day due to them being so busy! BUT THERE WERE QUITE A FEW THAT THEY TOLD “if you don’t mind waiting, we can get to you soon” I was there close to 3 hours but the experience was….what customer service should be!!! KUDOS TO THE HOLLY SPRINGS NC FIRESTONE!!!!!!!

Had a battery go bad on a Sunday

Had a battery go bad on a Sunday called three different Firestone stores had no workers to replace a battery under warranty.
Had the battery checked at a place that I trust 100% in their machine showed me which I saw the battery had a dead cell.
I couldn't sit here to who knows when hoping to get it replaced when people want to work so what's the use of having a warranty that cannot be honored?
my charging system was also checked by the other place so that was not the problem it was the battery itself.
I will be canceling my Firestone credit card and will no longer be a long time customer.
to make a long story short I had to buy a new battery when Istill had a warranty with Firestone which I could not get honored.

My $30,000 lesson from Firestone!!

My $30,000 lesson from Firestone!!! If I could give negative stars I would. I will never go to firestone again in my life. They charged me a ridiculous amount of money after deciding that not only did I need the oil change (which I originally went in for) but I also needed a new cap for something that didn't fit so I needed that whole part replaced. I'm not going to say they took advantage of me because I quite obviously know nothing about cars but it does seem like that's what happened. So over $800 later I leave with my car...oh wait they never put any oil in the vehicle. So what I was told is that my engine blew a rod whatever the heck that means. So my car was now considered totaled. I know what your thinking they took responsibility....well you would be very wrong, they brought in an "outside party" to inspect the car and guess what! Firestone was NOT AT FAULT!!! I was so angry and being a loyal customer of them I have learned my lesson. Don't make the mistake of going to them please save yourselves!!!
