We have an issue with a large Oak Tree that is dropping large branches and quite dangerous. I contacted Jason who is our site manager and he acted immediately. I provided the tree tag number and he arranged for the tree surgeons to attend. Jason quite frankly is the most proactive site manager I have known and I have lived here for 34years. Always gets on it and gets results!! Great communication skills too.

I am selling my property and our Solicitor had raised a few general enquiries since the 16th March and to date FirstPort Property Transfer Team have not responded yet with the answers required. When I called them on 1st April they informed me that the matter has been escalated, nothing happened. So I called them again last week and they said that our would receive a reply by the 15th April. When I called them on the 15th April they said they have responded to my Solicitor with a reply that the matter had been Transferred to the Insurance Team without any commitment to When the actual answers to the enquiries will be sent.
This has delayed our completion and causing use financial loss as the mortgage terms has ended and we should have completed by now. No one taking ownership they are just passing from one department to another. Also I had raised a case on the Portal and they have closed the case in the portal as RESOLVED that is misleading and fraud When nothing had been done to resolve the enquiries to date.
If my completion is aborted I have instructed my Solicitor to put a claim for damages.

I have an issue with communication . As previously mentioned our lounge layout was dramatically changed without any conversation or communication with the residents who then used it on a daily basis.
On a more general issue , the yearly accounts were very much overdue, a draft account caused much concern, with an overspend of 18k, it was amended just a week later, explanations were somewhat vague.
The general running of the building by Nikki is , however ,satisfactory. She is tackling many outstanding issues.

I am in the process of purchasing a flat in Hove, where first port is the managing company. They are incredibly slow, taking weeks to return with a simple response.
Because of their appallingly bad service the purchase of this flat is being significantly delayed. This is beyond any reasonably expected timelines.
It’s been five days since First Port confirmed in here that I’ll receive a request from trustpilot for more information and NOTHING!
No request, and no response to my pending request for which I am now waiting for A MONTH!!!! HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE? I am truly considering raising a formal complaint against this company now. And after 5 months in the purchase process (3 of which simply because we’re waiting on FirstPort to provide information) i ended up reconsidering purchasing the property all together because I cannot imagine having to deal with this company on an ongoing basis and depend on them as a property management company!

I’m sorry but first port are shocking . The only people who empathise are the poor people who answer the phone to me .
I’ve had emails complaining that people are parking in the wrong bays even though I’ve sent them emails telling them that all the paint with the numbers have disappeared so can’t see the bays . That was 2 years ago and still the same .
Told me I had to pay an extra £155 from 2022/23 accounts as they under estimated the figures ( 4 years ago ) . Not having that !! Your mistake deal with it . Property manager never rings back or hasn’t in all the time they took over from chamonix .
Maintenance charge is far too high for what they do or don’t do . I worked out where my apartment is that 48 apartments pay a total of £6240 per MONTH , for hoovering 6 stairwells and very little else . Since I’ve had my apartment the charge has gone up from £70 a month to £134 for doing next to nothing really . It’s outrageous !!!!

Terrible company. Sends you annual invoices, the decides to send you another a month later as they can’t do their own calculations and have “overspent” so you have to pick up their mistakes. Website is atrocious and can’t even download an invoice. Just downloads a letter reminding you that they’ve overspent. Quality of work you’re actually paying for is poor too,
