I had a 40+ year old fiskars (wallace) loppers with a bent blade. I contacted fiskars asking if I could buy a new blade. Next thing I know they sent me a brand new loppers. Now that is customer support.
Outstanding after-sales support
Having experienced a mechanical failure of a Fiskers multitool a week or so ago, I contacted Customer Service, and even though the tool had been purchased several years ago, the matter was taken into hand with immediate effect; perhaps even going above and beyond what I would have even expected following such an event, and here I am now in receipt of a brand-new replacement tool. The staff were kind and courteous throughout in all email correspondence received concerning this matter, and it pleases me that there are still kind people and companies out there who provide such a high level of after sales service.

I used to believe Fiskars was tops. Customer service on the phone, amazing. Now some group of greedy humans took over, no phone even though the literature that comes with products has a phone number "our customer service team" - did they fire them all to keep more money for themselves - and worse, the email forces you to put in product model numbers and the like or you can't just send an email and ask a question. Read: we couldn't care less about you customers we don't want to hear from you. I am disgusted by how the worst of humans are now creating monopolies and conglomerations that suck and we let them. I have a question I want to ask, only a robot telling me to go to website and find whatever that email is and must have product info even if i don't have it with me etc. What did you do with all the great customer service people. How do you sleep at night. Karma. Read about it. Consciousness, every one can grow, but focused on selfish voracious insatiable power and money you are the worst of the human spirit incarnate.

Fiskars Warranty Process Not Working
Filed 2 warranty claims, one 4 weeks ago and another last week. Neither have generated a response as provided in the web site. Contacted Fiskars via telephone where recorded message tells you to use web site then hangs up. It also tells you duplicate claims will slow the process. Not sure where to go next other than to buy the product retail again and return the damaged product to force return through the retail system which I am sure Fiskars does not want. They need to work on their process as it is currently non-functional.

Weed puller by Fiskars....developed a crack at base, making it very hard to get weeds out. Merely mentioned it to them and they shipped a new one. My mom used Fiskars 40-60 years go and swore by them for toughness around our farm. Now I know why she loved them. Outstanding company!

The Fiskars hand trimmers are overly complex and prone to failing during the cut. They hang up because of the poorly designed scissor action. They loose mechanical advantage when they “hang” and don’t cut woody branches well at all, something scissors design is supposed to address…a really lousy product.
Garden Hose Nightmare !!!
Gilmour Garden Hose - a.k.a. - Fiskars.
I have owned Gilmour Flexogen Hoses for years and they have done me well.
However…..if you ever need to send your hose in for a replacement like I did, you will have cobb webs attach to your body well before you get a replacement.
It took Gilmour…..a.k.a. - Fiskars over 8 months to send me a replacement.
I sent them email’s every month just wanting to know the status and I never received a reply.
They do not answer their phones either.
They claim that their hoses are “The last hose you will ever buy.”
They forgot to add “It will also be the last time that you will ever see your hose again.” !!!

One blade sheared off my loppers. I took a pic and sent an email to Fiskars. No questions asked, they sent a replacement blade. I changed them out in just a couple minutes. Very happy with excellent customer service and seamless warranty claim. Thank you Fiskars.

Fiskars - A Class Act, Honest, Quality American Company
After many years of use I broke the blade on my Fiskars Extendable Bypass Loppers. They have been such a good & dependable tool for years & years that I did not want to replace them.They have paid for themselves many times over.
Plus they are the only Fiskars garden tool to have an issue. I have many Fiskars products.
Unable to locate a replacement locally I contacted Fiskars directly.
I was unaware of Fiskars Warranty as I usually ignore such due to past negative experience with less than honest companies.
It took a while for Fiskars to respond. Once Fiskars determined the correct part needed to repair my Loppers they shipped a replacement blade free of charge!
It is so nice to buy from an Honest, Quality American Business! That stands behind their products and thinks more about their name than planned obsolescence & greed.
In life & in business mistakes happen, things break. In my long time experience Fiskars builds Quality products that last. In my recent experience If their customer's have a problem with their products. Fiskars will make it right.

Would highly recommend Fiskars for any tool purchases. I had a minor issue with the tool I bought and the customer service team were extremely helpful and sent out a replacement. It’s rare to get good old fashioned help to a problem from a company these days.

Fiskars has excellent service and respects their warranty. I can only assume that anyone who had difficulties did not use the proper way or place to communicate. It is so simple. I filed a claim online under their warranty for a replacement and received it without any issues. It was probably US based. I did send them the info and pictures they required. I totally recommend buying Fiskars.

My journey with Fiskars customer service began on 20th November and is still nowhere near a destination. I am trying to have them honour the 25year warranty on my Gerber multi tool but they simply ignore your emails, I did get one response asking for the proof of purchase (which was about 20 years ago), I explained where and when I bought it but unfortunately didn’t retain the receipt. Since then, despite a few emails to them, they simply don’t bother to get back to you. Frustrating and terrible service levels, they only get 1 star because I have to give them that as a minimum. Fiskars customer service is anything but that and should be embarrassed about their low level of consumer care. On the same day (20th Nov) I lodged a warranty claim with performance tools in the US and they couldn’t have been better, I had the replacement tool delivered from performance tools before fiskars had replied to my email….
Fiskars customer service not working!
I bought Fiskars 12ft tree pruner last year and the metal part was broken when I was trimming the trees in my yard October this year. I submitted warranty claim on October 17, 2022, attached several pictures. I received automated response that claim was registered. It mentioned that process needs to take three to four weeks. However, since then, not any news from them, and no way to reach anyone at FISKARS by telephone. I did follow up twice by email after four weeks of claim, still no response. What happen to Fiskars? I was expecting I could get the replacement before winter. Now, It seems that I could never get it. Very very disappointed!
