Fiskars purchased the Kitchen Devil Brand of knives. They used to have equally serrated sides, now they have different profiles, reulting in a curving of the knife when cutting in the kitchen. This... See more

RESOLVED (Sort Of...): Auto Response Only to Sept 12 Warranty Claim
UPDATE: Spring 2023
Received replacement products as requested without any further communication. Great to get them as promised, but questionable communications.
Submitted warranty claim Sept 12, 2022. Received automated response that claim was registered. Nothing since and no way to reach anyone at FISKARS by telephone, even accts receivable or payable. Submitted general customer service form also, asking for response to my warranty claim. Still no response as of Nov 2.
Customer Service Stinks!!!
Customer service doesn’t exist anymore with this company. They refuse to answer their phones anymore and when you try to send them an email (the only way to reach them now per their instructions) the emails error off. Lifetime warranty is a joke! Plus you can’t even find out if they still sell replacement parts for a Power Gear 27” Anvil Lopper.
can't sharpen loppers I have tried to contact fiscars for…
I have tried to contact fiscars for several days now with no luck. They are not taking phone calls at all. I bought my loppers about 2 years ago and have been largly happy, but now they really will not cut anything at all. I have tried to sharpen them a couple of times with a knife sharpener. I took them to Ace hardware a week or two ago, The man at Ace said their peson gets blades really sharp for a very low price (4.50). I came home very excited ready to finish pruning my tree but it still wouldn't cut. It just sort of bent, and or shreded a (not very thick) little branch. I am so dissapointed. I am 5 foot 6 inches tall. The loppers are almost as tall as me. Do they just have a short life and then sharpening will not work?
Excellent customer service and…
Excellent customer service and warranty!!! I had a pair a 32 inch loppers that broke after 10 years of use. They stood behind their warrant and sent me a brand new replacement pair.
Non-existent customer service
I recently bought a 14' extendable pruner, and tried calling customer service to see if Fiskar makes squeegees or attachments for this pole so I can screw on a squeegee. They currently do not take phone calls, so I tried to email them on their form. Two "error message - failed to send" tries later, I quit. Non-existent customer service in this case.
Great Customer Service
I've used Fiskar's warranty 2 times now over the past 3 years and they have provided great customer service (which is a rare find these days). Both times, I contacted by email and simply described the problem along with an attached photo or short video. They responded immediately of receipt and it would be followed up. Although it took a few weeks for a replacement to be shipped, they told me how much time from the beginning. Email might be preferable over the phone as other user complaints have said they called and were not satisfied with the response.
Well designed products and they stand behind them.
About 17 years ago following…
UPDATE: I just received replacement pruners and they came out of the box misaligned! Yep, the same old problem... press handles to cut and blade slips off anvil. I can hardly believe it! I stand my my original... STAY away from FISKARS (who was once a superior pruner provider) else, prepare for disappointment.
About 17 years ago following retirement, I purchased my 1st pair of hand held Fiskars pruners. They worked great until I lost them after about 10 years, but luckily I found them on the trail about a year later. After cleaning and reoiling, they worked a good as new. Sadly I recently lost them again and broke down to buy a new pair called "Titanium"... boy what a crock! These things blade doesn't even line up. They are anvil cutters, but the cutting blade misses the anvil. No worry, "Lifetime Guarantee" right? Well I found out "lifetime" relates to the time it takes to get Customer Service's attention. It's been over a month, 2 phone calls and 3 emails and yes I'm still waiting. They're "made in Viet Nam" and I'll bet 20 years ago they were made in the good ole USA. Don't waste your time or $ with Fiskars... you'll only be disappointed.
Fraud: Non-existent customer service
Called their 800 # about a warranty and they are not accepting calls and told me to e-mail them. I had already done that and they go unanswered.
Non-existent customer service and committing fraud on consumers for not honoring their warranty
I've been a customer of Fiskars' garden…
I've been a customer of Fiskars' garden tools: tree pole trimmer, hedge trimmer, lopper, pruners, micro pruner. I am sorry to say that I will no longer be a customer. Last October I bought a new pair of pruners and after a couple of uses, the spring fell out. I was able to find it & put it back in place. This happened 2 more times & the last time I couldn't find it. I threw them away. The 14' pole trimmer I bought this fall broke & I could no longer extend it (Lowe's honored the warranty). A friend gave me a pair of micro pruners & the slide lock fell off & they also couldn't hold the spring that enables them to open & close. Don't know what's going on but I hope they fix it!!!!
Non-Existent Customer Service
Purchased a Fiskars hand drill from Amazon a few years ago, with a lifetime warranty. Fiskars is not accepting phone calls, so I submitted my warranty claim with photos over 3 weeks ago and received an automated response with a case #; but, nothing further for the last 3 weeks, no ability to telephone and only automated email replies. Just awful service. Just emailed the CEO, Nathalie Ahlstrom, to see if I can move things along. Used to have a good reputaton; but, my tool fell apart after minimal use.
Correspondence could be better
Correspondence is rather slow, but they honored the warranty for my Power Stroke pruner without incident. Have been pleased with the tool for the past 10 years. Works great.

Many years ago I purchased A 24"and ruler with rotary to cutter an after using it for over 15 years the guide broke. My son told me about the warranty so I did what was requested and today the brand new rotary came. I just never Expected any company to follow threw anymore. But I love Fiskars. They are truly a wonderful company!!
Broke a Fiskars Garden knife
Broke a Fiskars Garden knife, with a lifetime warranty. On June 4th, I emailed them a picture of the broken knife, per their request, and received an auto-response stating Id be receiving shipping numbers for a replacement within 14-21 days. A few days following the 21st day, I emailed them again asking for an update. Nothing other than another auto-response. Evidently they don't care to honor their lifetime warranty, so remember than before you give them your money, I know I will.
Also, TrustPilot should have the lowest rating as "0", not a "1". Giving companies like this one a 1, is far too generous.
No Longer a quality brand
No Longer a quality brand
pretty dissapointed Fiskars PowerGear X LX94 after 3 days of use the blade is pitted,
Fiskars quality has gone downhill
Fiskars quality has gone downhill. It looks like they are making disposable tools instead of forever lasting tools they used to make.
Excellent customer service
Not the cheapest but if anything goes wrong they go the extra mile to sort the problem out
I'm so impressed with their after sales customer service

I have a 3 years old Fiskars 16’ Extendable Pole Saw and Pruner model model 9463. I have used it a few times in my backyard on my 2 apple trees. In one time the cutting blade broke. I am trying for one year to contact the company to send me a new blade with no success. Very poor customer support.
This spring I bought a new pruner and started to use it. In about 15 min it started to brake up first the protective cap and later the chain which actuate the blade snapped so I had to return as became unsafe to use it. It is a worse quality than the old one.
Here is a company that’s doing a nose dive
Here is a company that’s doing a nose dive. I bought expensive ratcheting hand pruners that are defective. I sent an email to their warranty department (warranty at fiskars dot com) and they gave me an automated reply that they would get back to me within about 20 days due to covid-19. 19 days later they responded to send them my address so they could send new pruners to me. When I replied, the email bounced with the message “Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it.” Several days later I’m still getting the same message. If you try to call them, you get a message saying they are not accepting calls at this time, and to send an email. I need working pruners now, not some day when they get their act together.
Fiskars irresponsible even maybe criminal
Fiskars not only has a pruner that is defective and dangerous, but also the company refuses to address the issue. There is presently a major recall of over 500000 tree pruner in the 16 ft line, and the same pruner in the 14 ft size is a hazard and cheaply made causing breakage and safety hazards. I brought this to their attention and they refused to address it saying sue us if you want. Very irresponsible and maybe even criminal.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I’ve been trying to get a replacement sheath for close to 2 months now and twice they’ve sent me an email with a label created but never once has anything been sent to me.
Won’t be buying from them ever again!!
