Nice center with a good staff
Nice center with a good staff.
But in some centers (Spinderiet) you use a lot of time
to find the equipment. Much better in the center on Amager Strand.
People simply don´t clean up after them self.
Maybe some people need a membership were they can bring their mother for half prize. :)

In regards to your reccomendation we would like to highlight that we do offer a '+friend' add-on for 199 kr. per month. If our members purchase this add-on membership or already have an ANYTIME PREMIUM membership, they are more than welcome to bring their mothers for a workout or supervision - as they wish :)

Probably the worst gym in Copenhagen. Smells bad, too expensive and the staff sucks.
Edit: they never never answer their emails. DO NOT PAY THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY MONEY.

Everything is fine except the locker room, which is disgusting and there are no hangers in the lockers.

Close to 5! (English review)
Nice clean Center with a lovely staff - for a good price! Only thing holding me back from 5 stars is the lack of a few machine's for example lower legs and more than one squat rack.

Great gym and wonderful equipment
Great gym and wonderful equipment! I would highly recommend that they get a maxiclimber but other than that I really enjoy using the facilities.

A couple ideas to get a 5 star rating
Overall I enjoy coming to Fitness DK. There are a few things that could help my experience. First, very few people rack their weights after use. This makes the weight room cluttered and can be difficult to find the weights I would like to use. There is very little area to rack the plates so perhaps a couple plate trees in strategic areas would allow for a better flow. Second, the music in the squat/dead lift area is so loud that I can barley hear my own headphones. Perhaps there is a way to turn it down or point the speakers in a different direction.

In my opinion
In my opinion, it is a very good gym. Nice staff, good trainers, a lot of various machines as well as cool classes. The cherry on top is that they have a sauna. I would recommend it.

HI,
It seems a lot of people are cheated with the memberhsip information, I wish I would have read first all the comments!
I was also one of them recently. I still have an open case. I need to pay 1300 DKK for 2 months which I didn't use and penalties due to their mistakes that they didn't close the contract as I told them to.Why? because they:
1. MAke people sign electornically for the access card, withouth informing that you are signing a contract. make you believe you pay for 2 months what you requested and you are fine. (guess what the contract was up and running)
2. Use historical data for contact and address. This has changed for me, if I do a new membership after 1 year, I should be asked again for this data as specifed on the internet and asked for an ID! I was not due to this I was not able to react to the wrong invoices!
3. when people say in person that they want to cancel the membership, you should let them know that they have to fill a form !!
I cannot know your process and what data you need. This is uneacceptal, people work for this money. Fitness DK doesn't work they cheat and have advantage of a monopol. Indeed I cannot believe in Denmark is happening this were everything is handeled on TRUST, but it seems Fitness DK had different rules, so you learn but maybe they will change the rule and they will say everything is fine as they told me, I will never trust fitness DK again. And I will really look into it to find a lawyer and customer protection it seems they are too many cases so people should react and not just pay because we are forced to not to be bad payers.

It is very unfortunate that there has been a misunderstanding, The membership you originally purchased was a monthly recurring membership and requires a written termination. The contract that you have signed is always accessible through your profile on www.fitnessdk.dk in both English and Danish. Fitnessdk's terms and conditions for our memberships are also commonly accessable both through your profile and our public website. It is therefore always possible for our members to review their contract as well as their conditions for training with us.
Following our correspondence via email fitnessdk has coopoerated with you to find a solution that let you terminate your membership with early effect despite the belated notification of termination.
We will certainly accept any legitimate documentation of termination if you have terminated beforehand as we always require written documentation for a termination so as to prevent any situation of a misunderstanding.

Great equipment, poor customer support and communication
In general, I enjoy the fitness dk gym very much. The equipment is great, the layout of the different training sections (crossfit, machines, cardio) is veery good. The staff is nice, although the local managers are the only people who can answer questions. On this level everything seems to be pretty much satisfying.
In terms of membership, I've had only bad experiences. I've signed up for notifications from Fitness DK about my membership and never got them. Hence, if you forget to unsubscribe from the membership due to a long leave or don't pay on time due to unclear promotion rules, Fitness DK will remind you of that with a fee - best reminder ever! When it comes to debt collection, forget about customer support, they don't know anything, just like the staff, and after some time start to ignore you. And the debt collecting company, Intrum Justitia, has a wonderful approach to debt collection: "Pay! You criminal!". So if you try to explain to both sides that it was impossible for you to know about any debt, nobody is willing to help you.
In conclusion, it's a nice gym but be very careful with the membership.

When we don't receive payment our system will automatically impose a payment reminder every 14. day. After the second payment reminder and another 14 days with still no payment our debt Collection partner will take over the case. This is a procedure to secure that we get the payment each month for the ongoing membership.

Hygiene in the men dressing room very …
Hygiene in the men dressing room very poor!
I´m giving 3 stars. Equipement and building are very good.
I´m training in Nygårdsvej 5. This gym has recently been renovated.
The Sauna, restrooms and the steambad are not clean and smell bad. It is a very busy gym and here you need to step up the cleaning quality and quantity.

Very kind personnel and good installations. I train in Sydhavn or Fisketorve. The place in Fisketorve is definitely nicer, but both have very good machines and the trainer in Sydhavn is super nice. Also, zumba, body flow and yoga are my favorite teams... they are not as often as I would like, but good enough.
