Ok so you want your middle aged dog to be comfy and not pulled about by his collar.
This company helped us correctly measure him for the harness and were kind and supportive in that - the harness itself is beautifully made and the padding make its comfortable and it’s a great fit. It’s run by genuine kind and interested people . Can’t recommend these enough and will use them again.

Ordered a harness for my dog who is a chunky Labrador. Received a phone call from Joanne to double check the measurements and I was advised of the correct harness to suit my dog. I explained that my dog is blind and losing his hearing so we need a comfortable one as he will be wearing it most of the time. Joanne also arranged for it to be made a shipped out to us urgently as he needed it arrived within4 days. Excellent customer service pleasure to do business with can highly recommend. I ordered a fleece harness for my spaniel and I got a call from Joanne the following day to check the measurements. I'm glad she called as I had a remeasure and it needed to be custom made.
She told me it would be made and shipped on the Tuesday and it arrived the following day. It is beautiful and fits perfectly

OK so Joanne is thorough when it comes to checking your measuring of your dog but that’s how you end up with a harness made to measure for your dog which is a perfect fit. And it arrives promptly. It’s why we would return in the event we get another family member.

Prompt delivery, quality harness, well padded, looks very smart, well worth getting the luminous stripes. Follow the directions for measuring exactly as the company then adapts them for flexibility. Don't be tempted to add extra length as they will make allowances

I found this company through Google; I wanted to buy local British made. I bought the basic fleece harness - it fits perfectly and there are no issues putting this harness on! Communication from the company was professional and friendly, the order was completed quickly and it's an excellent price for the standard of product. I would certainly recommend them.

It has taken me 18 months to find a suitable harness for my dog. I have tried many concoction’s/ head collars / haltis. I usually know the minute the item comes out of the packaging if it’s going to be any good and it normally goes straight back for a return. When Lilly’s harness arrived from Fleece Dog Harnesses,I could see it looke like it was going to be right and it was. I’m so pleased with the colour combination I chose and I’m going to order another in a few days in the hi viz ready for the winter. New collar arrived quickly. Additional embroidery is really easy to see and will definitely help identify our dog if he gets lost. This goes well with his other fleece harnesses.
Joanne was very helpful in making sure we got the right size for our 90khs Leonberger.

I buy my dog harness from fleece dog harnesses because they are excellent. I always go back to them because the quality is superb. It’s a very secure yet comfy looking harness. The colour choices are great. I would not go elsewhere as you could not get one as good as this.

Joanne was very patient with me changing my mind about colours and altering the harness so it fit my pup perfectly. I can honestly say that this harness fits better than any I’ve tried and I’ve been through nearly all the big names brands. They were always sitting too high on his neck which I didn’t like or too large on his neck. Too tight going over his head, too stiff. You name it! Nothing seemed to fit him properly….until now! This harness is amazing! It’s low profile, allows full range of movement. Looks great and my pup isn’t scared to put it on. I will be buying more in different colours. Just wish they stocked a more muted palette for those of us that like a more beige palette. Lol

Absolutely lovely service and nothing was too much trouble to get the right fit for our pooch. Extremely pleased with our dog's new harness, I can see that it fits well and being fleece covered it's lovely and soft against the dog's coat and he really seems to like wearing it.

Spoke with Joanne at fleece dog harness who talked me through measuring my puppy boston terrier. This harness fits perfectly, she hasn't managed to wriggle out at all, she was like Houdini in all the other brands I'd purchased. The added bonus is finding the buckle clips have an aid that helps to release the strap. If I didn't get nipped putting the other harnesses on I got nipped trying to open the buckle with my arthritic fingers. Would definitely recommend this fleecy strapped harness, excellent. Had to return a harness for repair to a damaged fastener , service was extremely fast sent it on Monday got it back fully repaired the following Friday. There workmanship is excellent we have purchased 3 harnesses for different dogs they are extremely well made and comfortable for the dogs as made to measure. I would highly recommend this company
