Had to have a custom-made one because she's deep chested and it wasn't cheap but I'm happier knowing she's wearing something that won't hurt her.

Excellent, friendly service. Harness made up to my dog’s own measurements and was delivered within a few days.
Harness is very comfortable, no straps to chafe. I feel much more in control of my lively Golden Retriever puppy now.

I had a harness & underbelly coat made for my Silky Terrier Tia. Both items are a great fit & the fleece detail ensures a cosy comfy fit.
Having previously purchased these items from a well known pet superstores, it was apparent that due to Tia's breed not being a standard size these were uncomfortable & rubbed her.
Jo ensured we measured Tia correctly for both her harness & coat.
Tia's new coat & harness are a far superior product, both in quality & fit.

Excellent product from an excellent company. Rare these days to get straight through to a real human who was extremely helpful. Murphy loves his splashy dog harness so much more comfortable a previous one was too snug to his armpits and webbing rolled over too. Also this is very easy to put on.

We bought 2 fleece harnesses for our whippets. 5 stars all over! Perfect fit - hard for sighthounds! Comfortable & personalised. Not as bulky as other harnesses. Amazing service. Joanne was very lovely on the phone & talked through all the fittings and explained her experience. Would recommend. Thanks

I was looking for a soft study comfortable harness for my rescued dog who has never worn one. Nothing was suitable. I stumbled across fleece dog harnesses & so glad I did. I bought a made to measure harness for my dog & it is absolutely perfect. No buckles, or straps dig in & no restriction in movement. My dog was terrified of harnesses & wouldn't go walks. Finally she is going into fields & loves her new harness as she runs about very happily with it on. What a transformation. So good that I have just ordered another. Great service all round. I can’t thanks Joanne and her staff enough for their amazing customer service and very high quality products. The personalised service they provide is incredible, with care and detail taken to creating bespoke items to ensure the perfect fit for your dog. I have a lovely heinz 57 Romanian rescue, so this has been invaluable and Joanne has patiently accommodated all of our requirements. It is so nice to deal with a knowledgable and helpful person and to be able to support an indépendant company that provides a level of quality and friendliness you rarely find elsewhere. Can’t praise highly enough!

Please read all negative reviews and see the pattern of blame shifting, abuse, denial of consumer rights and rudeness that this company, namely Joanne Spurr, subject anyone to who has a complaint or faulty product. I know they are true because Joanne has subjected me to the same.

I purchased the Bergen Harness for £80. I wanted the safest car harness that I could find, and this rivalled the Kurgo but I thought it would be more comfortable on long journeys as there were no metal parts to dig in. I had a conversation with Joanne over the phone to ensure that I ordered the correct size.
It was advertised with an attachment strap included but this wasn’t in the box when it arrived and the box was torn. That was fine as I already had a strap with my dog’s present Kurgo harness.
The Bergan fitted well but I didn’t actually use it in the car until we went on a long journey some six weeks later. I continued to use the Kurgo for short journeys. This is when I discovered a problem with the top pad twisting round.
I contacted Joanne and asked for advice. She asked for pictures which I sent and that is when she started to blame me for ordering the wrong size ( the size she told me to order!) and said I was fitting it incorrectly. This wasn’t so.
I asked to have the harness checked for a fault and she told me I would have to send it back to the manufacturer myself. (The manufacturer is in the USA) I pointed out that it was their responsibility as the retailer ( as per the Consumer Rights Act 2015) and that’s when the rudeness from Joanne really started, and she denied any responsibility as she said there was no possibility of a fault. I replied to this pointing out my rights and then I was accused by her colleague, Michelle, ( as Joanne was by then on holiday) that I had told them that my dog had never worn a harness, would possibly freak out at wearing one, and she accused me of driving illegally and dangerously with my dog in the car. A complete fabrication and attempt at intimidation.
I told them this but received no reply.
I reported this to Citizens Advice and forwarded all of my emails and they informed me that they had passed my complaint on to Trading Standards. They advised me to send another email asking for a refund and whether they belonged to an Alternative Resolution Scheme. Fleecedog failed to reply.
I also, on advice, contacted PayPal. I gave them proof of my correspondence with Fleecedog and despite Fleecedog fighting it, I received a full refund of the purchase price.
Please know your consumer rights as stated in the 2015 act, but also know that Fleecedog do not abide by them. They completely flouted my rights, and their responses to me were so unprofessional as to be shocking.
I would advise that you purchase elsewhere as you will have a very hard time with Fleecedog if you have any problem with your purchase, so be prepared to lose your money or to fight hard for your rights. Citizens Advice and PayPal or your credit card company will help you.
I wish that I had read the negative reviews on here and on their own EDog Products Facebook page and also the testimonial from a previous employee. Had I done so, I would never have purchased from this company.
I have no doubt that Fleecedog will try to discredit me and this review.

True to your M.O. you have tried to discredit me as predicted.
I have proof that my review is true and correct. PayPal agreed. I have a case number from Citizens Advice and confirmation that my complaint, along with the proof, was forwarded to Trading standards.
I have proof that I didn’t ask for a refund before I was forced to go to PayPal because you denied me my consumer rights.
I have proof my dog has happily worn a harness and has had no problem being secured in the car for most of his life.
I have proof of the progressively nasty emails that you sent to me.
I am happy to forward it all to Trustpilot.
You have shown your unprofessionalism and abusive tactics in your responses to myself and others who have had cause to complain.
I will not be amending any of my review as it is completely true.
I am not intimidated by you or the names you call me.
Please do flag this review as not genuine, and I will prove who is lying.
SECOND UPDATE AFTER ANOTHER FLEECEDOG EDIT.

1. You are not pleased I got a refund as you fought it with PayPal. PayPal do not issue refunds without proof.
2. It is how it is dealt with when things go wrong that shows the true face of a company. Easy to be nice when you are making money. Your M.O. doesn’t change

I have had several harnesses and leads over the last couple of years different colours, and they are amazing. Would not use any other harness thatn these. Personal measuring, great colour variety and brilliant quality

I thankfully stumbled across Joanne online and she's helped me to purchase two excellent bright orange fleece harnesses and leads, and a fabulous emerald green Splashy harness for my rescue staffie, Dolly. She is now a very happy young lady as the rash across her chest caused by the webbing from her old harness, has completely cleared up. Joanne helped me to get the correct measurements for the harnesses and when they arrived they fit Dolly like a glove. I didn't even need to adjust them, although Joanne has left me plenty of room in case Dolly grows any more. I highly recommend a fleece dog harness for a contented pooch and improved quality of walks. Thank you Joanne - 5 stars from Dolly and me!

Great friendly service,Joanne and the team are always quick to help. Having had harnesses in the passed from Joanne that are still going strong around 9 years later I knew when I need ones for the new guys where to go esp as 1 of my guys is only 7 inches tall,harnesses where made very quickly and when one needed a small alteration it was no problem and it was sorted very quickly.if you want a harness that actually fits your dog,is comfortable and looks fantastic this is the place to go 🐾

Very happy with a great fitting reflective fleece harness and matching collar for Pablo, our Spanish rescue. He has a narrow neck and deep chest so the made to measure harness is perfect. I have used fleece harnesses before for my dogs but this is the best one so far, with no areas that can rub. It's not cheap, but hopefully long lasting, and delivery was speedy. Thanks.

After trying so called specialist harnesses for our whippet puppy, none of which fitted the bill. We then tried these guys and found that the customer service, expert advice and a really great comfortable and safe harness was the only way to go. In short, superb service and product.

Delighted with this made to measure dog harness & matching lead. Fleece makes it very soft and comfortable for our pup. Room for growth too.

Brilliant dog harnesses, made to measure for a perfect fit, particularly if you have a 'toy' breed or small breed. The harnesses are fully covered in superb quality fleece so no webbing touches your dog's skin. My toy poodle had a puppy harness which lasted him till 18mnth old, now he has a slightly larger one from Joanne and it's simply perfect. I will not be buying any other harness. I have several 'dog owner' friends who have tried literally dozens of ill fitting harnesses, what a waste of time and money...not to mention the possibility of discomfort and injury to your dog. Wonderful service too with recorded delivery. Should also mention the total quality of the stitching,clasps,everything is so strong and secure, even for my little dog, which gives you confidence in traffic or any tricky situation.
