Absolutely appalling
Absolutely appalling. Ordered and paid for gas approx 1.2 k nearly 3 weeks ago. Delivery was due but when I called today apparently there is no scheduled delivery. I have to wait up to 48 to even get an update! No gas means business closed and as we have accommodation upstairs it also means no hot water no heating in living place as well. Not ideal especially with kifs. This company is a joke, they take money and do not deliver. No compassion from telephone people. Lines always engaged. Nothing is right. AVOID and make sure you read the reviews of customers experiences.
Disgusted
Disgusted. If you are thinking of using Flogas for bulk tank gas DONT. ORDERED ON 13th January expected delivery 27th January but never arrived. Phoned Flogas and was told it now definitely would be 5th February and I was on the scheduled delivery rota but never arrived again. Phoned Flogas again on 5th and told by a supercilious condescending prat it was a fault with the refinery and Flogas don’t make the gas! Told I would receive a phone call in 48 hours but guess what, no call. Rang on 9th Feb and lodged complaint and became an escalated customer as gas level 5%. No heating or hot water in these cold temperatures is unacceptable. Flogas have breached their contract in my view. Don’t have much hope for delivery.
We have just moved into a new home that…
We have just moved into a new home that is supplied by Flogas bulk, we are getting very low but just on hold to Customer services now over an hour and still no reply to get an order in before we run out. don't think we will be staying with them. You would think as a new customer they would be on the ball trying to sign you up, but guess what nothing. Worst company experience ever.
Terrible service all week from Flogas
Terrible service all week from Flogas. At 1% gas and been promised a delivery all week. It still has not come. A tanker had broken down or run out of gas or other excuses. No one rings to apologise or say the gas delivery is not being made. Have 3 children in the house and it’s winter. There is a massive lack of communication throughout the company. It takes an age for them to answer the phone and when they do they are unable to speak to the planners/delivery schedulers or transfer to a manager. I am appalled that they could treat their customers like this.
Trouble getting fuel delivered
Trouble getting fuel delivered. Placed order for my bulk gas to fill, back on Jan 12 as at 30% and responding to their message to say now a good time to order. Called on 29th Jan and had to wait 25mins before an answer, as was still with no delivery and now at 20%. They left message following day to say delivery will be 16th Feb which will be 33days after initial order. Cutting it fine if their going to avoid leaving two pensioners without heating or cooking.
Appalling customer service and no…
Appalling customer service and no call-backs. Minimum half hour waits to get through to them
My mother's Flogas tank was replaced as arranged. Flogas took away the tank 20% full and left her with 5% in the new tank 4-5 days worth.
A delivery was notified for 13 days later !
Having been let down by them before we spent the required 30 minutes on hold and was promised a call within 72 hours from the secretive and elusive 'planners'. No call.
No call from management and still no date for delivery.
Tank is now empty. My mother is 77 years old.
Shameful, incompetent, inefficient. Avoid.
Great company until now
Great company until now. Got missed on our delivery date last year, but no issue as we have got enough gas. Got to the beginning of this year and down to 10%. Left it as we are on auto refill, nothing. Started calling last week as we are down to 5%. Lots of promises of gas deliveries and call backs, nothing. Today we are on less than 1% as its unreadable on the App. Flogas said they will try and get a delivery when they can. Asked for a manager to discuss and told they will call us back in 24 to 48 hours. Not the service you expect from a national company. And I am a pensioner. Nice...
Flogas is not a company I would recommend,
Flogas is not a company I would recommend to any person or business, over priced, poor delivery schedules and poor responses however, there was one person namely Tom Gibley, a service engineer who provided an excellent job replacing my perished regulator ( I strongly suspect caused by Flogas due to running the tank nearly empty and not fixing the hood to protect the regulators, the frost then damaged the diaphragm). Tom as excellent and returned service to my business efficiently.
Absolutely crap company
Absolutely crap company, billed me 3 months despite already paid 2 months, 3 weeks and still no response to emails and complaints.
Today I finally took delivery of 1600…
Today I finally took delivery of 1600 litres after almost begging for a delivery since the beginning of December.
Reading other reviews Flogas have almost run many other customers out of gas.
I must commend the driver NATHAN for his truly professional way he made the delivery and apologised for for the company almost running me out of gas.
It's a great shame customer services and indeed the other people dealing with customers wasn't as efficient as Nathan.and several other drivers.
Are in breach of contractual…
Are in breach of contractual obligations. Have ordered gas on 21 Dec (have a two-year contract with them), customer for 11years+, was told today that delivery will be made 3rd week of Feb, that's two months - although advertised will be made within two weeks on their website. Something has gone wrong with this Co'. Could they be in financial difficulty?
Give me back my original delivery driver Davie
I first started ordering gas from Flogas at Dalkeith when I bought the burger van at Pencraig Lay-by East Linton in July 2023, I get a delivery every week and the service and communication with my delivery driver Davie was great, never a problem!
So why change something that wasnt broken!!!!
Management decided to change my delivery driver in the last few weeks of 2023 to Ally!!! Appalling service, gas never delivered on the days it was supposed to, you never knew when Ally would appear or he would appear when I wasn’t there and the company knew what time I closed!
I kept my fingers crossed that the gas would last until delivery.
I complained on the phone and to the manager who delivered with the gas, I asked for my original delivery driver Davie and was told that he couldn’t do this!!! Eh yes you can!
FloGas I would like my original delivery driver Davie back not Ally!!!
Avoid this company like the plague
Avoid this company like the plague! I'm furious - today is the fourth time in a month that we have been promised an LPG delivery for bulk tank that is now on 12%, again it hasnt turned up. I phoned CS who are absolutely hopeless, they just read from a script and cannot think outside the box, claim they cannot contact the driver, just keep saying it is on its way, no I cant speak to a manager there are none available (it takes up to 48hrs to request), if it doesn't turn up ring us tomorrow!! It's Christmas day in 3 days so looks like I'm not going to have hot water or heating over the festive period. They do not care about their customers, they have you over a barrel because you can't get it elsewhere - Merry Xmas Flogas!! PS: What is the point of an automated system if you continually ignore the indicator that customers need their tanks topping up.
Avoid flogas at all cost
Flogas encourage customers to go on auto ordering, but then do nothing to make sure that they deliver gas to them before they run out. I phoned last week because our bulk tank was very low, and was promised that it would arrive yesterday. Of course it didn't so I phoned customer service where I had to argue with someone who kept insisting that we only use 10 litres of gas a day on average so we ha d 'plenty of gas ' The 10 litres average must be over the whole year and is irrelevant in December when we use c. 30 litres a day for central heating in a large cold (unless we heat it) listed so not double glazed house.
What other commodity is rationed by the supplier? If I want diesel for the car the garage doesn't question me about how much I already have, they just sell me some.
This controlling and idiotic behaviour has in the past led to us running out of gas in the middle of winter.
We used to get gas from countrywide who behaved in exactly the same way, but then happily went bust. Initially flogas seemed slightly better, but I'm afraid that now it seems as though they are each as bad as the other.
How are they allowed to enforce contracts which prevent us from buying gas elsewhere but which don't make them deliver gas to us when we need it?
Flogas are absolutely useless
Flogas are absolutely useless, they don’t listen to their customers, you can’t trust their deliveries will turn up on time. They monitor my quantities for auto deliveries, yet I don’t know if they will turn up. Their web site is so basic, I can only assume their technical know how is very low.
I could not recommend them to any friend or family.
They don’t even supply phone numbers or emails for support of any kind. They want your business, but hold you at a distance, as they know they are useless at customer service.
I’ve written to the CEO twice as it is the only email address listed I could find, who immediately passed my moans to a junior in the organisation.
You have to Question whether the board is up to running this business.
My comments relate to three years of being with this business.
Ordered online and cylinders delivered…
Ordered online and cylinders delivered two days later. Delivery was brought to my back door as I had requested
Brilliant service
Well I cant thank my wonderful delivery driver Darren enough,my next door neighbour was expecting his gas delivery, notified last night by text &email,he phoned me to ask if I had notification of one as we tend to use the same amounts of gas,I hadn't heard anything so when his delivery arrived he asked Darren if I was going to get my tank filled,i wasnt on his schedule so Darren promptly rang the company to enquire and they said to him to fill my tank as well, this happened last month as well (my area is WV156HN) so a big shout out for Darren at flogas thankyou you're a star.
I use the Nottingham Branch and have…
I use the Nottingham Branch and have done for many years, staff always go the extra mile, so thankyou lads, always prompt and polite
Excellent service
I was notified by Email yesterday to say the gas was being delivered today. Arrived am. No need to order as automatically ordered and never worry about gas getting too low.
Absolutely bloody terrible
Absolutely terrible business. Avoid at all costs.
I told them six times that they had my name wrong. Nothing ever changed. In the end I told them that I wouldn't pay my bill because the person they addressed it to doesn't exist. They then corrected my name and sent a new bill.
This time I said I wouldn't pay because the cylinder hadn't been finished, despite the fact that it had been filled with gas. The hood was faulty and didn't shut to protect the workings.
They rectified it, and I have paid their bill. Since then I have had 5 phone calls and a constant stream of threatening letters.
Bizarrely they sent me a Legal Action letter to my mother-in-law's address. God knows how they got that address, but I never gave it to them. There will be a GDPR issue which I will look into.
Oh yes, and this morning I phoned to complain. I was on hold for 24 minutes, I got through, started to explain things -reasonably and calmly and the woman hung up on me. -Guaranteed to send a reasonable person apoplectic with rage.
Utterly APPALLING SERVICE.
