Absolutely the worst company I’ve ever…
Absolutely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in over 40 years as a homeowner.
Working from home simply does not work!!!
I won’t go into the entire 4 weeks drama surrounding the placing of my first order because it would read like War And Peace, but as the tank at our new properly hadn’t been used for 3 years and as we knew absolutely nothing about LPG, we asked for the tank to be inspected before the order we’d placed and given a 5 day lead time on, was delivered.
We were categorically assured on the Mon this would happen and an engineer would be in contact, to arrange a visit ahead of our first delivery.
Fast forward to the Friday evening, I received a text from Flogas at 18:15hrs, saying 1000lts would be delivered the following day.
I immediately rang the office to say we’d agreed no delivery until after the tank had been inspected, but of course it was closed, with an answerphone message saying open again at 08:00hrs.
So 08:00 Sat on the dot I rang them, managed to speak to someone who assured me the dispatcher would be contacted and the order cancelled, until the tank had been inspected as per our request.
On returning to the property on the Weds morning I discovered the Flogas engineer sat in his van on our drive. He took me to the tank and said not sure why you’ve ordered mate, the 20% you claimed to be down to is wrong, look your gauge is reading 85%…you are full to the brim.
Clearly I was elated at this news, the gauge had water in so I assumed it must have been faulty and the person who’d left the properly 3 years earlier, must have had a full top just before leaving.
So I immediately emailed Flogas, apologised for the confusion and said please cancel the order you now have on hold for us, as it’s now not needed.
Fast forward to Fri lunchtime when we return to the property to find an invoice from Flogas for a full tank of LPG, that had been delivered the previous Sat.
So I again phoned them immediately to say they’d made a mistake, but at that point they informed me that we had indeed received a delivery at 07:20 last Sat morning, which is why the tank was full.
So despite everything I’d said to them on numerous email and during numerous phone calls, they informed us at 18:15hrs on Friday (when their office is shut) that they’d deliver the next day, then they turned up at 07.20hrs the next morning (before their office is open) and sneakily filled the tank on our property, under the cover of darkness.
Having raised a complaint about shambolic, unprofessional treatment I’m now at the point of refusing to pay for the LPG, they clearly aren’t happy with this but have promised to review all my calls and emails and get back to me.
So in conclusion Flogas take ages to answer their phones, their sales agents work from home and don’t return calls when they promise to do so.
When you email them you get an auto reply to say we will try to respond in 2 working days…this in itself is useless from a company that openly admits their system can only inform you of a delivery on the eve of it…in our case 18:15hrs on Fri for an 07:20hrs delivery on the Sat, when at both times their office is closed.
Moreover as a new customer Flogas quoted me an initial price of 81p/lt, but when I got an alternative quote of 49p/lt, they immediately slashed their price to 48p/lt. OK some will call that business and the beauty of the free market, but others might well interpret it as a cynical attempt to rip off a new and completely naive customer…I’ll leave that for individuals to decide.
Finally last Fri noon I raised an official complaint and was told it would be handed to a manager, who would contact me within 24 working hours…so by noon yesterday.
Guess what?…no one called yesterday, but a guy did finally contact me at 10am this morning.
That in itself sums up Flogas perfectly for me…unprofessional, uncaring, disinterested and frankly in the year 2023…embarrassing!!
Standby for further updates when/if they get back to me.
Not the first time I have been let down…
Not the first time I have been let down by Buckfast flogas, won't be a next time, when I pay for delivery I expect it the same week, not the Spanish inquisition when enquiring when said gas is to arrive following week! When a time frame of 26th/ 29th was advised on purchase. Bad excuses, Bad customer services.
Fli gas overcharging from £200 to £800
While abroad my bank account was hacked and my direct debits stopped.
I sorted it out when I got back but forgot flogas.
I missed 2 monthly payments of £91.
When I contacted FG they said I owed £800.
I offered to pay the missed payments but they insisted I pay £800.
They then said my DD would be increased to £156 a month to cover arrears..which is £752 per year more than I currently pay.( £1200 a year)
So they will not accept my offer of bringing my accounr up to date..and want £156 a month which I cannot pay on my pension.
Bizarre overcharging..and the resident customer services guy Sean just keeps going round in curcles niw they have srarted legal action which will incur further costs and my gas rank us nearly empty.

I was wrongly charged a mysterious “balance brought forward” of 269 euros although my bills are automatically paid by DD and last bill was paid in full. Calling customer service, they said it’s early exit fees!! I haven’t contacted the new supplier until 2 weeks after end of my contract with flogas and I had evidence of that, but the lady on the phone claimed that they received a cancellation request made on my behalf one day before end of contract!! I couldn’t believe they’re openly scamming! I guess they think people don’t check their bills. I highly don’t recommend

Visited the Burnley site today and was very pleased with the customer service I received. The gentleman I spoke to was very helpful and informative. Thank you
Shockingly bad customer service
Absolutely the worst company to deal with. New customer after moving house two weeks ago, and I'm still waiting for them. We have no hot water, heating or shower. You cannot get through to on the phone, and the call centre cuts you off, even when you use the call back option. The website instructs you to call them! How do they operate such an abysmal service??
Have been with flow gas for past 2…
Have been with flow gas for past 2 years, never turned up until i notified them online however as soon as my contract ran out the prices doubled and they then wanted to charge for delivery aswell so i tried nigotiating a better deal but in the mean time they made a delivery and charged me the full cost of out of contract price.
Money grabing company with no interest in keeping good customers.
Terrible company
Terrible company , I had been with them ten year's,this year was time to sign new contract, however their prices have doubled and more . I went to Calor and will now save over £1000 per year. Customer service is appalling and can take 45 mins to ansa phone. Think they are about to close down .
Limited customer service
My son moved abroad over a year ago - but he just sold his house here in February. He had all his mail forwarded to me to deal with. So I got an invoice from Flogas - half of it covering a period when my son had sold his house and no longer lived in the country, let alone the property. I phoned Flogas, they said they couldn't talk to me. I tried to explain that I would like to pay them the part of the invoice that was owed (about £13!), but they aren't allowed to talk to me. They said try emailing customer services instead, maybe they can help. So I did. Same response. Do they want paid or not? It seems not. I'm only trying to help, but apparently rules are rules. They need a manager who can step in and do something in cases like this, it's ridiculous. I gave them my son's address in Dubai, but he doesn't have a post box and I don't think they do mail deliveries to houses!
My contract was up for renewal-been…
My contract was up for renewal-been with flogas for the best part of 15 years plus as they took over my previous suppliers-they came back with a extortionate cost-they never responded to my emails.
So we went to a third party lpg save and they came back with a far better price-however it was with flogas.I put a order in on 19/3/23 tank at 20% with a lead time of 14 working days last day being 02/04/23.
i phoned Friday 31/3/23 to be told it would be delivered Sunday-no show-phoned Monday and Tuesday this week and still have no date and our tank has less than 10% gas. I would have moved to another supplier and strongly recommend staying away from Flogas. They have doubled their prices and however their customer service is shocking.Sadly there are only 3/4 key suppliers in LPG and us customers cannot go anywhere else.

George Robinson from Flogas has been a tremendous help when we decided to switch to Flogas. His knowledge, experience and most of all his pleasing personality made the changeover go without and hiccups. He must be a great asset to Flogas and we wish him all the very best. He could not be faulted in any way. J&D B
I wouldn't give them any star
I wouldn't give them any star, but had to to leave the review
Shocking, disgusting, useless. And that is being kind!!!! Given four delivery dates, plus 2 over the phone only to be told that the tanker had run out of gas!! Bet if I withheld payment they would soon be after me. My husband isn't well and we are on 12%. So much fir the contract saying 30%
Don't do it!!!! Don't join them!!!!
4 failed deliveries and counting
It has been over 1 month since I place my order for bulk gas and despite being told 4 times now that delivery would be the next day it has failed to materialise. I have been fobbed off with broken down tanker on several occasions. My tank is below 5% now. We have a two year contract that runs out in October. We won’t be renewing or use them ever again. It’s too much hassle and stress. How can a company be so incompetent and still exist.

Waited 2 weeks for an order that never arrived. Had to call in on multiple occasions with whilst being told the delay would be scheduled for the next day. Eventually had to cancel my order and request a refund. For an order worth almost £100 I’d assume they would be diligent.
Continued poor show.
Another missed delivery and return calls not made.
Terri gave me her word she would call the next day and just didn't.
Continued poor show.
We had a problem with our heater…
We had a problem with our heater ignition not working.
We rang head office for advice and a friendly lady on the phone was very helpful and she said she would get someone to call us about it. A man called Peter rang and we were at work so he said he would ring us back when we were at home, He rang us back and was friendly and asked us to check certain things with our heater and was patient and solved our problem. He arranged for a delivery of a new refill which came in 2 days and the driver took the faulty one away. We want to say a big thank you to Peter for the excellent service he gave us we are now happy pensioners lovely and warm again
Been with flo gas for over two years…
Been with flo gas for over two years but this delivery has been an absolute debacle from the beginning
Placed an order and received email confirmation that they would deliver within 10 working days. Called up yesterday after being on hold for over 40 mins and explained tank now critically low and they said they’d been having logistical issues, and would contact planning and someone would call within 24 hours. called again today as noticed on app that delivery date had been pushed again to 3rd March, yesterday it was 1st, original was 24th, then 27th Feb
You can’t speak to planning and after a long call they told me they calculated that the gas we have should last us 10 days, yesterday was told 6 and if you use the app it states 1, asked how they could possibly accurately know our consumption without living in our house as usage varies to which I was told I should’ve ordered my gas sooner. I reminders them if they’d delivered within the agreed timeframe we wouldn’t even be having this conversation and blaming customers for their failings isn’t acceptable.
Nightmare to speak to anyone, you can’t speak to planning or a manager, thank god we are out of contract as won’t be using again
5 days without gas
5 days without gas, 3 no show deliveries in -5 overnight weather. 4.5 hrs on hold through the week pleading with customer service time and time again to help us get our tank filled.
I have two young children and my 80 year old father staying at my property. No one could give me definitive answers or any help during every single phone-call.
I’ve never dealt with a more incompetent or appalling company. I can’t wait to leave this shambolic company.
Just had a failed gas delivery on the…
Just had a failed gas delivery on the 25.1.23 they used their standard excuse tanker broken down!! Our tank is now low on 15% supposed to be automatic top up at 40%as per contract. After spending an hour on the phone I have been told the earliest delivery date is 14 February. We had awful delivery problems with this company last year 5 failed deliveries due to their incompetence while exchanging our gas tank at their request. We are on the vulnerable list and need to use our heating constantly. This is not acceptable we need an urgent delivery. I asked to speak to a manager but one was not available. Apparently you can’t speak to the planners either. This company does not care about the stress which they cause. Do not use this company they have no customer care and do not comply with their contract. We will be using a better and more reputable company as soon as we are able to. I certainly wouldn’t give them 1star it would be negative if I could.
I have been trying to get a delivery…
I have been trying to get a delivery from Flogas since before Xmas. First they told me i didn't need a delivery despite having ordered one and cancelled it. Apparently i had plenty of gas left.
Then with the cold weather forecast i again tried to get a delivery, only to be told it would be arranged automatically when i was down to 10% and that i had plenty of gas left.
I rang again as our usage had increased, and requested an order. This time an order was scheduled but again didn't turn up and i was told it had been cancelled.
With the second cold snap forecast, and with guests due, i again requested an order, and was advised one was scheduled. I was even sent a notification, but that didn't turn up either. Again i rang and was told an order had been requested and would be scheduled. Again i received a notification, which was then followed with a message to say the lorry had broken down and the delivery would need to be reschedule and would be a week. Again i rang and asked for an earlier delivery as we were getting low. Again i received not one but two emails saying my delivery would arrive on 21/1. As i sit here now i still have no delivery, have no way of knowing how much gas is in the tank as the telemmetry is 2 days behind, and i can't get hold of Flogas as the office is closed. I have no faith in the delivery turning up, and no courtesy from Flogas to let me know what is going on. I now find myself in the very position i was seeking to avoid of having to ration gas, or run out, during a cold spell, with no prospect of a delivery, despite the no doubt hugely hiked bill that a full tank will no cost me.
The customer service of this company is appalling.
