DO NOT TRUST FLOGAS THEY LIE

We were down to 30% gas a couple of weeks before Xmas around the 12th , I phone them waited an hour for them to connect me to a customer service advisor told there was no problem as a delivery would be automatic, I informed them that their reliability was shoddy at best and i would like a delivery before Xmas, !8th December i phoned waited 45 mins for an answer, asked again for a delivery before Christmas as we were now down to 21% (their figure). Phoned on the 27th waited 1 hour and 12 mins for an answer told delivery was scheduled for 29th, waited in all day no delivery, phoned them at 1600 hrs got answered at 1658hrs, told delivery had been cancelled down to 12% told someone would phone me back, phoned on the 30th told someone would phone me back, todays date 02/01/2023 still waiting for the phone call still waiting for a delivery 3% left in the tank been limiting gas use to 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening we are both older and retired sitting in our house freezing over Christmas and new year, worried about running out completely as the last time they ran us dry it cost £160 to have the boiler purged before it would work again ( boiler is 3 yrs old). They appear to have logged our house as a problem delivery.

New customer

New customer, paid upfront for two 47 cylinders. 40 minutes wait to report no delivery. Customer advisor wouldn't talk to my husband as not on account. 73 Years old, health conditions no heating! No text to advice. Havevto queue and try again tomorrow.

out of contract

Not a flogas customer, we inherited a flogas bulk tank when buying new home. Had previous poor dealings with flogas, so decided to change to Calor. Filled in all the forms, then told by calor that flogas have "lost" the manufacturers tank pressure test certificate, which is issued with the new tank. Calor and all other suppliers will require this certificate, before accepting the tank. No reply from flogas, seems like we are stuck with them, or is this just a clever ploy to stop us changing suppliers?

Flogas engineer Dave was brilliant

Flogas engineer Dave was brilliant. He called in advance to let me know he was on his way and was thorough and explained to me what had been fitted and tested it. I thoroughly recommedn Flogas and thank Dave for his work today.

Excellent engineer service

The engineer, D J Macauley, who oversaw the installation of my replacement gas tanks, was excellent. He kept me fully informed, checked my boilers were working after the installation and ensured that there was no disruption to anyone who was using my shared drive. I can’t compliment him highly enough.

Rip off merchants

I have just received a letter telling me that my standing charge (Bulk tank) will be going from 27p per day to 42p per day, an increase of 50%, and what for? We have 1 delivery a year and I can't remember the last time the tank was inspected. They claim it is for delivery but surely that is built into the gas price, so what am I paying £152 a year for? How can they justify a 50% increase with no added service? I know why!! I am on a fixed price until January 2023 and there's nothing they can do about that as it's under contract, so they increase the standing charge. Just been quoted 25.13p per day by Calor fixed for a year. Thieves and rip off merchants. As a post script, just phoned Flogas pretending to be a new customer and was offered 21.9p standing charge! Make you own minds up! Following the standard response from Flogas, I would like to point out that the tank has not been inspected this year and that we have not had a delivery this year, neither has the tank been painted, difficult really as it's 4 feet underground!

Basically try calling up flogas and…

Basically try calling up flogas and ordering something and then you'll realise they are understaffed and not very efficient. This is a good measure of customer service if you can't reach them readily

FK LIER and THEIF! MONEY EATING MONSTER

Very awful experience actually, the company escaped the 200 euro credit issued by government by saying my personal apartment as commercial address. I have sent emails over ten times with exit days, they wanted to get my money after the exit date by making up a date.

Frustrated and fed up

Rang Flogas up a year ago to arrange 10 year inspection of bulk gas tank and was told it wasn't due until this year 2022. Rang today to arrange inspection and got told it was done in May 2019. Rubbish, it was not they claim to have an engineers report showing it was done however strangely enough it was not signed for by me the customer. Tried to tell me I hadn't noticed their van on my driveway and the engineer doing the check which they claim takes up to an hour. We are here all day as we work from home, it is on a very quiet one track road I am very aware of passing vehicles let alone someone actually on my property. Turning this into a full blown complaint, I want my tank inspected it is Health & Safety issue. They saying have the test they haven't done, redone will cost me money. Extremely unhappy.

I have been using flogas for a few…

I have been using flogas for a few years.
They are very reliable and offer a good service.
I would especially like to compliment Ray the delivery chap. Ray was extremely helpful and is an asset to the company.

Worried and frustrated

We are so fed up with having to keep badgering for our deliveries and the tank going right down. It is very worrying as bulk gas is our only form of heating, hot water and cooking so very important. We are trying to conserve but we think this means other people are getting priority. We are under contract for another year and goodness only knows what will happen this coming winter again. We very nearly ran out. When we had oil we were able to keep topping up to ensure never running out but with Flogas this is impossible. Our order was generated on 21st March and we are still waiting.

RATES

Flogas Customer Service people don't even know the current rate on the day you speak to them. I fully understand the changes in the rates and they can't tell you until your contract ends. But surely they know what the current rate is on that day don't they??

Absolutely terrible - do not go into a contract

Absolutely terrible. I'm so relieved to have finally served my 2 year term and be free from them. It took 2 days for my new supplier ( Carvers) to fill my tank up.

We have had an underground tank for over 20 years and had a few suppliers, never had a problem until we encountered Flogas. Pre contract they were fine but since we went on a contract they have been awful, loads of missed deliveries and incdredibly difficult to contact. They still sending me delivery messages followed by failed notices 2 weeks after I ve left.

I am a new and disgusted customer.

I am a new customer.
I was told that as a new customer I would receive my delivery in 3 days. By the time i got through to them to be told this I had been on hold for 60 minutes and then cut off. On my second attempt it took over an hour to reach them and on that occasion I ordered my gas. That was 11 days ago and I still haven't had a delivery, even though i was told it would be here yesterday latest. I now have no gas at all and as a result no heat or hot water. I do however have Covid and am freezing cold, additionally I havent bathed for 3 days now.
I have had almost 6 hours of my life wasted on the phone, on top of this you have palmed me off with various excuses such as "the lorry ran out of time" "the lorry was off the road". Which was it exactly? At least if you are going to lie then stick to it!!!
I waited yesterday for a call back from an emergency team that I am now being told went home at 2 o'clock today. Appropriately the lady who took my call had no idea about any emergency delivery for me today.
Lots of false assurances but ultimately no gas today neither do i expect anything tomorrow. Flo Gas you are an absolute disgrace and I can make you a cast iron guarantee. If I am admitted to hospital because a lack of heating has accentuated my Covid symptoms then every Ombudsman, radio phone in, local MP, newspaper or magazine that I can physically contact will hear about it.

I left a review a few months ago

I left a review a few months ago. Flogas responded and pretended to care about knowing what went wrong but didn't follow it up.
I bought a cylinder. I tried to set up an account so I could buy a bigger cylinder. They wanted to know the 7 digit number of my Metal Agreement, but there are only 6 digits; so I couldn't register for an account.

I tried to attach photo - no go.

Stalemate. They aren't serious!

serial cancellations

Delivery scheduled for Tuesday cancelled on the day. Delivery promised for 28th March then changed to today. Today's delivery then cancelled 15 minutes ago. Some sort of joke? Am now in serious danger of running out completely. Because of yesteray's promise of delivery I stopped rationing my use of the LPG. I should have known better thah to believe Folgas.

I have been a Flogas customer for 24…

I have been a Flogas customer for 24 years. I would say their service is consistent, every winter I ether run out if gas or get down to the dregs, despite being on a top up system and now the telemetry system, which does not work here in this rural location.
I spend hours on the phone trying to organise a delivery and when I can speak to someone they are generally apologetic and pleasant with varying degrees of efficiency.
I am again in this position 10% or less of gas. No way to place an order and unable to contact Flogas via phone or email. I know they are there as my monthly direct debit is still going out.
Flogas please contact me ASAP.

I Have had to call this company twice…

I Have had to call this company twice now I paid for a gas fire and cylinder I was given a delivery date and it never got delivered ,after a call to them I was given another date 7/03/2022never came again 2nd call I was told to wait another date was given .so I asked for a refund and order to be cancled so I could go else where only to be told I would get a phone call next week to have order cancled before i get money back . what a disgusting service .so now i have to wait again before the refund .never again such a bad company from start

Down to 1%

I have tried to get a delivery from flogas for nearly 3 weeks. Called 4 times each time waiting almost 1 hr in a queue
I am now down to 1% in my tank can only heat 1 room as it is going to run out before a new delivery comes.
My house is freezing and I have a 80yr sick mother living with me
I have been told we have to wait until it runs out before they can do anything
I am absolutely disgusted at this company they have no duty of care to vulnerable people and it needs to go to the press
