I leave one star as there’s no option…
I leave one star as there’s no option for zero. Was a customer for several years, contract comes to end and absolutely uninterested in negotiating a new one. So away to suppliers new I go. 2 whole months and many phone calls and e mails later i eventually get my several hundred £’s worth of credit refunded. Shocking customer service, especially Sean in credit control who never returns calls despite assurances. I would smile if I read they cease trading.
Terrible customer service
Well it looks like I join a large number of people with the same view.
Ordered gas on 6th December advised 7 -10 days. After 10 days advised by 20th December. Today 20th December advised not scheduled for delivery and no date given. My wife and I are pensioners and my wife is in the clinically vulnerable group. If we run out of gas no hot water, no heating and no cooking. My wife could then be in serious trouble.
Terrible customer service.
This is the worst company I have ever…
This is the worst company I have ever the misfortune to deal with. They will Not answer the phone and contacting them by email is just as bad. Horrendous company.
Absolutely disgusting service after…
Absolutely disgusting service after being a customer for 15 years to have to wait 40 minutes on the phone to customer service only to get through on the new customer line !! to ask where my planned delivery was (which I ordered over a week ago) 3 days late by the way,
To be told the driver was not willing to come through the diversion signs nearly 10 miles from my property which are not even applicable, but he couldn’t be bothered to even try, we are at 5% as it stands today and guess what no idea of a delivery date,if we treated our customers with such disrespect, quite simply we wouldn’t have any…. We rely on our gas for cooking heating, hot water so we are not happy at all, oh and this isn’t the first time they have let us down..in our view if you can, find yourself another supplier..
Absolutely do not use these unprofessional muppets
What a rubbish customer service! Can't be bothered to deal with any issues! Trying to order a bulk tank for 2 properties but no one seems to care if they get the business or not!
Absolutely Abysmal
Ordered a Gas bottle over a week ago, still no idea when they are going to deliver it?
I have contacted them by email twice all both occasions my emails have gone unanswered.
You will be better off waiting for gas to naturally, fossilise rather than using flow gas who will not reply to your queries, and rob you of your hard earned cash.
terrible…

After numerous telephone calls asking where my order was I ended up going to collect it. I ordered it 2 weeks previous to going on holiday and needed it for my caravan. Will definitely change to another brand. 🤬🤬 only given 1 star rating because there’s no zero to tick
I had a very bad experience with Flogas…
I had a very bad experience with Flogas and would never use them again. They decide to charge you extra after the order was completed on-line without consent, and you can never get your money back even when you return them their own Flogas Bottle. Appalling that companies sell by misrepresentation, feel very cheated by them charging me £66 for a small bottle of 7K Butane gas. I tried to speak to them and they refused to return the additional charge and kept referring to terms after which where not made aware at the time of buying.
First time purchaser
My husband and I visited Flo Gas at the Newburn branch today, 17th august 2021. We were novices at buying gas, the service and help we got was exceptional from Christine on the desk and Lee another member of staff. They were both so helpful and informative. We had visited two other gas suppliers which were no where near as obliging as the two Flo Gas staff. Well done Christine and Lee. It’s a pity there aren't more people like you two. Thank you again. I highly recommend Flo Gas at newburn, Tyne and Wear. Freda Elsworth
The cuatomer service is rubbish
The cuatomer service is rubbish. I instructed them but they dont leave note blame on customer. As we rely on gas they said cancel order and don't take it.. I also raised a complaint and when I checked nothing was on the system about the complaint.
One Star is too higher mark for Flo gas
Signed up to a Flo gas LPG contract for the first time after moving into my new property which had a existing tank and contract with the previous owner. Took Flo gas on their word and trusted them that the price quoted in January 2021 at 54p per litre was competitive, however after a notification of a further 8p per litre price rise from the 9th August 2021, 62 p in total. I now find as a new customer in the same area Flogas are currently quoting 33p per litre with a standing charge of £120.00, £29.00 per year cheaper for the standing charge and £972.72 cheaper for the LPG based on my current consumption. I spoke to the management of Flo-gas but they wouldn't negotiate, not even meet me half way on the price at 43.5p per litre, and basically stated that you have 14 months to go on your contract, tough luck and thank you very much. All other suppliers are currently quoting between 33p - 35p per litre with a lower standing charge. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS SUPPLIER AS I DID, FLO GAS are not interested in retaining customers for the long term, only ripping them off short term in my opinion.
Customer service & underground tank
Customer service & underground tank
I have moved between Flogas and Calor every 2 years of the last 10, just to keep getting the best price - currently with Flogas and contract ending just now.
A year ago (last June) I contacted Flogas to request a quote to move our overground tank to an underground one. I used the online message system in my account and called several times. It took about 3 MONTHS to finally get the office to send someone to do a site survey. The guy came and said access was excellent, no issues, soft dig - as easy as they get was his words. He said the office would call with the price. Nothing came. I had to call several times to finally get the quote - which was for over £6k! I tried to question and they would not entertain - even if I extended my contract etc. Just no budging. So I left it.
A couple months back, May this year now, with my Flogas contracting coming to an end at the end July, I called Calor. The guy I spoke to in the office was great, and gave me an instant, fixed price quote to move to underground tank of £3k, AND a really good fixed price for LPG for 2 years. So, I decided to move to Calor. I just had to wait for 30 days before end July to start the process.
Out of the blue then someone from Flogas (Scott Thomson) arrived to inspect my tank - and we got talking. He had no idea of the history so I bored him with it all. He was frustrated that I was about to leave and agreed the job to move it underground really was straight forward as it gets. He said he would make contact with the 'office' and see if he can sort it. He did, and called me back twice to check the office had called, which eventually they did. However, they quoted my nearly £5k again and no matter how hard I tried, the guy would not listen to me saying "Calor want £3k and Im going". In fact he said, if you dont like the price, just go to someone else. So I messaged Scott after the call (I had his number), and he was raging! Again he said he would sort it. I also raised a complaint at this stage too with customer service about how I was spoken to and the whole thing handled. Fast forward and Scott sorted it all out for us. He got them to agree to the £3k, AND I signed up for another 2 years. I am a heavy domestic customer, spending £2.5k on gas a year on average. He saved this customer. Had it not been for him, we would have left and NEVER returned.
One last point on the guys that came to do the actual work (and Scott did help too with that!), they did a great job - they were all normal, great guys and Davie Robertson (who to be honest did most of the work) was really great, and even helped break up some old concrete for me after the old tank was gone. The place was left tidy and no issues whatsoever.
So, Flogas - take heed - your folks in the real world are YOUR MOST IMPORTANT ASSET - your customer service teams need a serious revamp. Moving to an underground tank was such an important thing for us, as for 10 years it has plagued our plans to extend the house. So, thanks to Scott, Davie and all the other guys that helped.
I have signed up to Flogas for a two…
I have signed up to Flogas for a two year deal with an assurance that we would not run out of gas....with a direct debit set up on a monthly payment. Two months into the deal we ran out of gas .....it took 6 days for the gas to be delivered....on contacting Flogas the said they had credited my account with a miserable £75 for the inconvenience of having no cooking, heating and washing facilities for 6 days.....Unfortunately I have 18 months to go with this utterly useless, disorganised company would don't give a utter concern of customer care. Dont sign up or ever deal with Flogas they promise a good service but in the end its a dreadful service.
Absolutely disgusted with you Flogas
Absolutely disgusted with you Flogas. As a dealer for your product for many years you have left us high and dry with no gas for 2 weeks!!! Yet you can deliver to the super store 2 miles up the road from me !!! My customers have all gone there now thank you !!!! Telling me its in their contract!!!! Well thank you this what we get for being a long standing dealer !!!! I now won't be opening this weekend one of the hottest of the year because of your totally unethical way of serving the big boys before the small fry THANK YOU FLOGAS !!!!
One star is being generous
One star is being generous. Absolutely terrible service, 4 dates given and still no gas bottle. Even confirmed by text for delivery and still no gas. Shocking way to run a business.....The worst service I have encountered.

After been told I would have a bulk delivery on no later than 30 May then told 6 June and still no delivery and we are out of gas
What a joke
Another price increase with no…
Another price increase with no communication to me! What sort of company does that to its customers? One that is profiteering from its market monopoly and knows it can and doesn't care.
A dreadful company avoid at all costs
A dreadful company avoid at all costs. They leave an 89 year old woman with no gas for heating or hot water for over a week.
