Dreadful customer service
Dreadful customer service - it took nearly 2 weeks of ordering propane bottles for delivery despite having had an email which stated that delivery was due a week ago. Flogas telephone operatives were unable to give a reason for this. It takes on average 20 minutes to get through to flogas by telephone and the operatives are unable to assist meaningfully other than to repeat that somebody will call back with an answer within 48 hours.
Platitudes and apologies unfortunately only go so far after several frustrating chasing calls to find out why the bottles has not been delivered.
Unsurprisingly, flogas were not so tardy when it came to taking payment at the start of the transaction.
The business needs to listen and take note of current customer service issues and take appropriate action to remedy this situation which I’m sure is not a one off or risk customers voting with their feet.
Avoid
Ordered gas online website had something wrong my gas turned up but wouldn’t give it to me as I hadn’t paid a £40 cylinder fee even though I had said on the order I didn’t have one to return floras have lost a customer due to the way this was dealt with
I ordered and paid for a gas cylinder…
I ordered and paid for a gas cylinder with a 5 day delivery schedule however some 22 days later I cannot get any response from flogas as to why my cylinder has not been delivered nor will they make any attempt to issue a refund this seems tantamount to theft.
Massively overpriced - till you challenge them
I renewed my 2 year contract in December 2020 @59p/litre, fixed for a year. I had previously been paying 75p/litre so this seemed like a good deal.
I then found (thanks to a junk mail flyer) that the going rate for bulk LPG is about 35p/litre - almost half what Flogas are charging me. To give them their due, after I kicked up an enormous stink they matched the price. They admitted that a new customer would be offered a similar price - but couldn't answer why a long standing customer like me was being charged way more.
Non delivery, communication and no Flo
Where do i begin!!!!?
Since having my bulk tank installed(eventually) ( pleviously had been cancelled with very little notice)!? Flogas have failed time after time with delivery and communication!? I placed an order on the 11th Feb 2021, i receive an email advising delivery by 25th Feb 2021, however that day came and went (no delivery no communication!!? I made several phone calls which was a complete waste of time( don't bother you get nowhere and end up feeling exasperated)!!! However i did receive an email/text advising delivery for the 26th Feb 2021 ( again it didn't happen!!!!? shambles!! Again more phone calls (fed up and beyond exasperation)!! Im still waiting!!!? no communication as too when i will receive my delivery. This company is a complete waste of time and should be brought to task in the way they communicate with their customers ( after all you are tied in to a two year contract and unfortunately can not go elsewhere)!?
Terrible Customer Service
I called FloGas on the 1st Feb as I noticed my Gas levels were extremely low – as a new user of LPG I hadn’t realised just how quickly the tank would empty.
When I called I expressed my worry that the gas would run out but was told that they could only guarantee delivery by the 17th but could not promise any earlier - so a 17 day wait. When I asked what else I could do I was told – “if you run out call again and we’ll see what we can do”. Although this wasn’t acceptable I had little choice but to place the order and wait. I called again on the 4th to ask if there was any way the order could be prioritised as the level was now showing as zero and I had turned off my heating and hot water to leave enough to cook for a day or so until it ran out completely. I was told that once the order was sent through there was nothing they could to speed up delivery but would have my account updated so that I would receive updates – this turned out to be pointless as I got no updates whatsoever regarding the order until they day the delivery was due – around 8pm a text to say it would be delivered the following day the 17th Feb.
The delivery was eventually made but I ended up with no Hot water or heating for 2 weeks and had no option but to cook on a camping stove due to there being no gas left in the tank. How this can be acceptable to any company I don’t know. I was fortunate I am not elderly or vulnerable as I would have been in a serious situation, as it is, I got by but under very unpleasant circumstance.
The entire experience with flogas was awful and demonstrated terrible customer service. I have never experienced so little empathy and lack of assistance from a company plus the fact they have no idea or influence as to when deliveries will be made does not make any sense.
I think they should be ashamed of their service and lack of planning in being able to deliver effectively as it was obvious some months ago that there would be higher usage over the winter due to lockdown. The fact they did not anticipate this shows a lack of concern for their customers and lack of awareness as a business.
To top it all off when I received the invoice and compared it against the payment taken (which had been taken 17 days before delivery) I saw I had been overcharged by £21 – an absolute joke of a company. I’d advise anyone looking for a supplier to go elsewhere as I am currently trying to.
Avoid this company
Avoid this company. Rude staff, Over priced. I'm disabled & have no heating / cooking facilities & was told they won't come until march 4th. !!! Waited 56 minutes before they answered the phone!
Seriously unimpressed
Online order placed 3rd February with a tank level of 30%. Plenty of time to have it refilled before the onset of the forecast heavy snow, I thought. Especially given that the tank telemetry is available to Flogas, they're aware of our extremely rural location, and they have had over a year to monitor our usage.
But alas, no. It's now the 11th February, our tank is at 17%, and I've just been informed that the tanker is scheduled to arrive on the 16th. Outside temperatures are now around -4C and set to drop even further, and we've had heavy snow for the last three days. Well played, Flogas. Well played
Absolutely disgusting service
Absolutely disgusting service. Ordered a bulk refill on the 12 Jan, should have been delivered by the 22nd Jan. 20% in the tank at this time. Feb 7th got up to no heating or hot water. Checked the tank - empty! Feb 8th, Spoke to the joke called Customer Service... having been in a queue for 20 minutes. A promise to check with the routing department to get a delivery to me that afternoon and the promise of a call to update me. No delivery! No phone call! Feb 9th - still no gas or hot water!!!! Another 30 minutes in a queue.... routing planned for the 10th!!! No gas again or hot water! Temperature in my house is 2.5 degrees, we are literally freezing and all I had from Customer Service was an escalation for a call from a manager WITHIN 3 DAYS!! and a claim for compensation. I would NEVER recommend Flogas to anyone. The costs are huge and service is shockingly poor.
Disgusting customer service I have been…
Disgusting customer service I have been paying £79 per 47 kg bottles so I decided to check local prices and it’s between £60and £65 per bottle I contact flogas and was told buy from others then so how do Flo gas get away with over charging and als misleading but advertising the have the lowest prices is there a legal route to stop this the Flo gas depot is only 2 miles from my house I’m so disappointed in them
Thank you Alistair Eveley…
Just had a visit from Alistair Eveley from the Barnstaple North Devon depot. There was a query re my cylinders and he worked very hard to get hold of me and in the end paid me a visit to sort it out. He was incredibly helpful and talked me through the issue. I feel reassured after his visit and would like to thank him for taking the time to resolve and explain what was going on.
DO NOT USE FLOGAS
I ordered on 7th of Jan at 30%. delivery 21st of Jan never came. Rang them 21st and got cut off after waiting 25 minutes, just before 5pm and they close at 5pm. Called them the following day and told we were not due a delivery!! after numerous calls and now at 3% moved to priority but no date given. Working from home with no heating - FREEZING. DISGUSTING LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE!!!
DO NOT USE FLOGAS
Incompetent beyond belief. Do not use this company. Customer "relations" ignore all emails and if you try and ring them, 25 mins on hold until someone finally answers. Bulk top up ordered 7th Jan when tank was at 30%. Delivery promised 18th Jan (11 days after order), Failed to deliver, 19th Jan, Failed to deliver, 20th Jan Failed to deliver, 21 Jan Failed to deliver, 22 Jan - apparently their truck is broken down FAILED TO DELIVER, now gas at 2% and heating system will lock out and I have to pay a gas engineer to reset the boiler. TOTAL INCOMPETENCE BY FLOGAS. Find a supplier who a) answers the phone, b) delivers when promised, c) does lie through their teeth when contacted. BREACH OF CONTRACT - Flogas...look it up...Lee Gannon your business is a disgrace. 60% bad reviews for a reason.
DO NOT USE...
Moved to new house March 2020, filled in forms and bank mandate for auto top up.
August rolls round, tank empty, called Flogas and they forgot to upload our details and switch our tank receiver on. Arranged delivery, all good....23rd Dec, boiler switches off, no heating or hot water again.
Call flogas on 23rd Dec but no drivers available so have to go Xmas and new year without heat or water, supposed to be delivered on Jan 4th.
Realising I had no text with delivery confirmation, I call up today (4th) at 10am, on hold for 38mins to be told there is no delivery scheduled and over £300 sat on credit in our account.
Oh and they never return their calls like they say they will.
Almost a week without heating, -3 in north Scotland and with 3 children...we feel utterly bummed out AGAIN from this company!!!
We are definitely changing supplier but on 4th January we kind of need our money back to get a delivery from elsewhere 🥺
Incompetent business
Incompetent business, paid for order on 11 Dec and still no gas!!!! 5 calls to customer service and not 1 call back to confirm delivery. Apparently Coventry depot couldn't find the address so just couldn't be bothered to tell me or ring for directions!! Absolute disgrace!!!!!!
Disgusting service
Disgusting service. I rang as I suspected gas had run out. Chatted to a nice guy who apologised and said that he couldn't get a reading from gauge to tell them I was low and arrange top up. After checking gauge (2%) I called back as advised.
Second agent told me that I wasn't signed up for top up. As far as I knew i was. Previous agent didn't say any different. I explained I have kids in the house, no heating etc. He told me he would call back to arrange delivery day.
No call by 5.15pm..so I called emergency line. I explained my situation to a very abrupt woman. She told me that I should have called before it run out. It was my responsibility and I wasn't signed up for topups. (Again, news to me) I said there's no heating and my youngest has additional needs. She said very bluntly that she has sent an email and I'll hear back about delivery. That's all she can do. Absolutely SHOCKING!! I have been with other suppliers who would deliver the same day in emergencies. One company even brought out heaters to help as it was getting fixed. My contract is up soon and I will definitely be looking for a new supplier!
Thank you so much to Robert Evans who…

Is there any health and safety in this company. After being left a leaking cylinder at my property and an emergency response to deal with it where the bottle had to be burnt off on my back yard for 3 hours. No apologies or call from any one regarding this! Can't belive this company would leave it in the first place. Just a good job I'm more health and safety conscious than you are or who knows what may have happened.
