We have beautiful old wooden floors in our apartment which had not been treated for over twenty years. Vas (the owner of Bumerang) arranged to do the job, renovation 3 rooms and a hallway for us whilst we were away in order to minimise disruptions of moving furniture etc.
We came home from our vacation to beautifully sanded and varnished floors. They were totally reliable and pricewise very fair. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Vass and his team have just finished sanding and varnishing our old oak parquet floor. They have done a fantastic job!!! Covered all our shelves up cleared up with absolutely no mess left atall! Beautiful job that looks fantastic ! Great communication from start to finish. One of the best tradespeople we’ve ever had doing work in our house. !!Extremely polite and helpful.

The last time we encountered a floor sanding machine, half the house ended up resembling Pompeii after the eruption. Times have clearly changed! Vass and his team filled all the gaps between our scratched, pitted, and splintering old floorboards, then sanded and varnished them to a beautifully smooth, uniform finish - while generating hardly a trace of dust. In the process, they had to tackle some very heavy furniture including a piano. The end result was as impressive as Vass's considerate and meticulous approach to the job. There's clearly a wealth of experience on display here!

A very good experience with terrific results. Bashed and battered old floors in a listed house carefully brought back to life. No dust or disruption. After sanding, and some changes of mind on our part, FS&S patiently applied exactly the finishes we wanted. Highly recommended.

The whole process, from responding to my initial enquiry to completing the project, has been efficient, courteous and professional. Our 20-year-old oak boards have been transformed. The floor looks more beautiful than when it was first laid, because the surfaces and edgings have been finished with such care. I would definitely use this company again if I had more wooden floors to be restored.

We uncovered dilapidated teak parquet flooring under old carpet when we moved in. We were given a very speedy and best quote to renovate the floor and also install oak strip flooring in dining room and hallway.

Had my front room parquet floor sanded and varnished, after twenty years of heavy family traffic. The two men were courteous, phoned me when they were caught up in petrol traffic, did a fantastic job and left no mess. Have already recommended to a friend who saw my floor and loved it. Would highly recommend and the pricing was the lowest I found when I was looking for the work to be done.

Great finish on the floors in our breakfast room and the living room. Vass was great, very professional and friendly. No mess and all done in 3 days. Would highly recommend.

Over a period of around 4-5 years we have been slowly decorating rooms, getting rid of old carpets and sanding the floorboards underneath. This is the third time I've had Vass here to sand and stain one floor or another which speaks for itself really, and I will ask him back to do the final room when that's ready. He is a very tidy and trustworthy worker and, incredibly, there is very, very little dust or mess.

The work was scheduled based on a recommendation from a neighbour and I was very happy with the work and service provided.

Very happy with the floors that Vass and Belgium sorted out for us. Once sanding started Vass pointed out that there were some newer boards of a different shade in the living room, hence the old dark stain that was on them, we talked through options and he came up with a plan to try and even them up, which worked well. He also sanded the ‘office’ floor, which was painted. Their hard work has produced a beautiful result. He also kindly got me some felt pads and fitted to the furniture to protect the boards at no extra cost. They were great to have in the house, timely, friendly, helpful, clean and tidy and lovely people and no surprises. I would highly recommend and the cost was very reasonable. Thanks Vass!
